These little ones are from some really crappy old seeds, they needed like 1,5 week to germinate(they didn't been kept properly). I wanted to kill BM#2, she's weak and tiny, but I have plenty of room for them, maybe she'll grow big someday.
They're growing under a 95W T5 for veg, then they'll have a crappy 400W COBled + 50W high grade DIY LED over them.
Container: 15L airpot
Plagron Lightmix the soil
Tangs advanced nutrient schedule for feeding
LST before flowering phase and minor defoliation at 6th week for stress.
The room is air conditioned so the temperature is between 24-26 for like all the time.
The humidity is 38-40% most of the time.
The 2 blow mind looking great, they as big as they should be at last! The little cripple is starting to look normal(ish), if we don't look at her age :D .
Hoooly fuck, these girls are so amazing! I didn't do the same mistakes like in my last grow, and they growing exactly how they should be at laast. I didn't do any training yet, they structure are nearly perfect. Maybe after they're at final size I'll open up the branches.
I spotted a minor Phosphorus def at BM#2, while she shouldn't have. I already gave her 2.2ml/l PK nut instead of 2. I watered her today with 2.3ml/l, I hope it helps and not burn her.
The mutant got a 100W DIY LED over her. The cripple and the BMs sharing a 400W Helios LED and a 50W DIY backup light.
They are perfectly healthy for now, several days before BM1 showed some Ca deficiency, then I changed the Ca supplement from Sensi Calmag to Metrop Calgreen. I'm done with that nut, I don't recommend it to anyone. Since I use Calgreen the nut def stopped.
Fatting up really nicely! The mutant is amazing, her pistils are twice bigger then my other plants. I'm so thrilled how fat nugs she's going to grow. BM#1 looking awesome too, BM#2 is having a Ca deficiency that I usually have... I doubled her CaMg dose + foliar her. I thought about other deficiencies like P or K, but the signs clearly shows that it's Ca def.
Calcium problem is a problem again at the end of the grow like at my last grow. I still didn't figured out how can I fix this. I give them double Ca dose(5 watering passed), PH at 6.3-6.4(best for calcium) + CaMg foliar every week... and none of them solved the problem. If any grower got idea about the problem, pls don't hesitate to write a comment about your idea. The symptoms are showing Calcium deficiency, I'm 100% sure.
BM#1 is beeing flushed since 4days. She's goind down at '17.01.04. or 05.
BM#2 had her last nutrition rich feeding, going down at '17.01.10.
A lot of budporn this time for you guys, merry Christmas and happy new year!!
BM#2 was under a 50W DIY LED + she had some light from the Helios, and her buds are more dense than BM#1s, who was under the 400W Helios all of the time.
Helios is a "Made in UK" Chinese crappy LED for a horrible price. 50W DIY is doing better than this and much more cheaper.
The little cripple is really, really slow... She needs like 2 more weeks to go, but I don't have that time to harvest that 30-40g that is in her... the alien vs. triangles are growing rapidly and need a lot of space...
BM#1 was shared the light (400W Helios) with 2 other plants.
BM#2 had a 50W DIY over her, and she had bigger buds and yielded more than the others.
BM#1 was 62cm tall yielded 69g
BM#2 was 61cm tall yielded 78g
You can find pictures about the harvest at week 10.
I can recommend this strain. With more light it can easily yield 100g , the smell is not exceptional but good. It's like lime wunderbaum. The high is like a tipical indica, but with some uplifting effect.
If you make a strong joint from this weed, you can really feel your mind blowed out. My friends gave a nickname "DEMENETORS WEED" for this strain :D .
There was 2 plants, the mutant and the cripple.
The mutant yielded 117 g under a 100W DIY, the cripple yielded 42g with the half of the Helios LED.
I did 1g /W with both of the DIY LEDs, that's why I bought a lot from it for my other grows. My goal is to have 1000W total from these lights.
I saw the beginning that cripple's going to be a trashy plant, but I gave her a chance... I shouldn't have to. From now on I'm going to kill every genetic trash plant at the beginning.
Things I learned from the grow:
- never exceed the nut table by a lot. That's the reason I had with Ca def. I gave them too much Phosphorus, that locked out Calcium, so no matter I gave them like 2 times more Ca, they couldn't take it.
- kill every genetic trash at the beginning
- DIY LED > every other LED
@Tenacious_Trichomes,
I sucked a year, and spent lot of "learning money" until I learned this knowledge I have... and it's still not perfect. I'm sure after a time you'll do it in the right way too.
This profession needs a lot of time and experience(p.s.: AND A LOT OF MONEY+luck) to master it and not get to jail... but the feeling of smoking your own top shelf quality weed every time you want is priceless, and at the end, I feel it's totally worth every penny and time, and I realized I'm going to do this, even when I'm an old grumpy fuck.
@BigDaddyK,
Thanks! The smell and the flavour is like a lemon wunderbaum :D. The potency is great, nice indica, the relaxing type, perfect for chilling.
I'll update the diary as soon as it cured, with numbers and more details,
Looks good to me m8 there is still a high percentage of green. I tried really hard to see the yellowing and in my not expert opinion if it's only in the big fan leaves don't worry too much. Some nutrients are transient and those big fan leaves are big storage tanks. When the buds need a certain nutrient, instead of metabolising them from the roots, it just robs the fan leaves for an instant hit of ready made goodness. With my trees the yellowing usually happens towards harvest no matter what I do.
