Purple kush

Very late upload on the pics.... but i just found them today. ran a dehumidifier because the humidity levels were extremely high due to current weather pics may be from week three but best study show week 2 or somewhere in there

Messed up this diary started on week 5. Purple kush and boy are these things short and bushy. growing in co co choir under led 600w. just put up the scrog today and let see how this whole thing work already doing so much better than my first grow which i produced nothing lol. one is growing like crazy but the other seems to be not as big . starting to produce 9 finger leaves.... which i guess is good?

Growing Okay. Gave a water of just clean water feel i may have nute lockout not sure. low heat issue seems to be sorted put in a new heater and seem to be working alot better. Tried to clone some cutting let see how it will work out. thinking of switching to flower as high in this grow tent is.

Decided to flip. i think height might become an issue but apparently these purple kush plants should stay fairly short and bushy. Should have bought a 4x4x6 tent instead of cheaping out with the 2x4x4. Oh well Gave them a flush of cool clean water with no nutes then for two days i gave them a low does of all 4 nutes to help transition them. Read it somewhere cant see how it will hurt. Ill slowly start uping the nutes as the days go on. My light timer messed up it shut off a few time during the lighting phase yesterday and just caught it this morning. Hopefully i dialed it in correctly or this would be a huge bummer.

plant on the left (smaller ) seems to be having something gone wrong with about 4 of the leafs. I cant find any signs of insects. maybe they just got banged up when i folded them under the screen? So tomorrow will be technically the 2nd week of flower and this thing keeps getting bigger. fingers crossed it will stay some what short because i believe i have created a self induced height issue. Its been cold here the last month so keeping the heat up has been a real challenge some times its dropping to around 14 - 13 c at night . finding the sweet spot with the heater is proving to be a real pain and its just gonna get colder.

Not a 100% but i think the stretch is done and im hoping I am right as we are pretty much at the max for distance from my light before i would start to sweat. upped the bloom nutes a little . and they are really starting to smell you open the tent and the room is just filled with smelly goodness. the short one on the left is shooting 11 fingered leaves...shes got about 5 of them which is pretty cool. hoping its not like a genetic flaw considering the seed cost a pretty penny in the first place. Need some advice going into flower anything you got let me know. I am at my max for questions for the month so i think i still have to wait another 12 days or something. guess we are on track for a mid to late January harvest

RUNNING OUT OF ROOM!!!!!! light is sitting 12 inch from the top of the plants. Had to put another screen down to give me just a little more room. not to sound like im sucking my self off but i really didnt expect these plants to grow so well so now its a mad panic to save some room. Getting cold during the day and night here so temp control is still and issue. week posted a day early due to holiday obligations . hoping the stretch last another day or so before bud start producing Update but who the F$%^ knows this is all new to me Update Three days into week 10 and i had to push down a second SCOG net and push some of the stems down. showing signs of what i think is light burn .... even though im using leds. dont think its nute burn gonna add some pics and maybe you can see it. these little babies shot up fast one night after being pushed down. the white hairs are starting to really show still got 12 inches of room from the light. With everything ive read online my flowering phase seems to be a bit behind the what i would call normal time line but im guessing its just the strain im growing.

So leafs still falling off....not too worried as they are the leafs not getting light. Did a good flush as I got a little worried that nute burn was starting to show its ugly head. Had some sort of sticky clear substance on one of the leafs, looked like water at first not sure wtf it is. (Insert seaman joke here)

Plants are really starting to stack. The smaller plant on the left has 3 pistols turning amber. Gave a good watering of just clean ph'd water (just felt right to play it safe with nutes). Oh man do they smell you open the tent and you smell it two rooms over. No signs of them turning purple as per the site I bought the seeds off of flower should take 8 to 10 weeks. Little nervous it's cold here and we expect snow then it should warm up then go back into a deep freeze in the next 3 to 4 days so history shows here we might have some power outtages which might mess this whole thing up. Regret not trimming these babies down for light penetration got to scared in shocking then plants do to an over zealous grower. Leafs at bottom just starting to turn yellow this happened within the last 24rh (jan 10 to jan 11)

IM CALLING IT... 2 weeks till harvest . start this week by flushing with ph'd water and will carry on until harvest. Man i love how the flash of the camera bounces off the trichoms . Getting cold at night got a bit of a deep frees. Its like minus 20 outside at night ... which is perfect as im going for around a 10 degree change from night and day temp to push some purple in there. No signs of any color change in this strain. the smaller plant has it pistols turning amber alot quick that it bigger sister.

Okay so we got two plants. The left one is a runt it seems.. same start time same nutes and same watering ect but the smaller one seems to be ready to harvest 9 which will be pretty small . pistils are all pretty much amber and the trichombs are almost 100 percent cloudy. so we gotta find a little bit of a balance between the two as i need my grow tent to dry and have to do both at the same time. In short we are days away from harvest . Checking every morning and still just using plain water for the last days. everything seems to be staying right where it is no change at all to the plants. Okay People!!! Huge upset this morning. cut down my SCROG net turned one of the plant around and found two huge bug infestations one the smaller plant. the good new it looks like they stayed somewhat colonized and did not run over to the other plant which i thought was weird. Chopped everything down Just took off big fan leaves and will dry cut the sugar leaves etc.. in about 5 to 7 days. Sadly could not do a wet weight at the time so it will have till wait for another 5-7 days and i will update. Smaller of the two i got pretty much nothing out of it lack of defoliation, strain line and bug all had huge roles in that i feel. however the smaller of the two got pretty purple . The big sister did awesome pretty big dense buds. Gonna scrap doing SCROG again i get why people love it but once its in there your stuck. Feel that i would have liked to be able to rotate my plants around and inspect them more closely. Where the bug where was the back of the wall tent in the dark corner and could not see anything ...and trust me i looked. Update later as needed .............. put in taste early just cause they smell super fruity. Scrapping the SCROG next grow. probably going to use a tomato ring so i have the ability to rotate and move my plants. Also going to do soil and coco choir dont have the time to water and do all that stuff every day sadly...............ARRRHHGGHGH bugs!!!!....still hurts a little 😅 take lemon zest mix it with lime and add a splash of orange one jar has 43.74 grams of dense buds from the one plant that did awesome the other in 56.39 grams but that includes all the sugar leaves which were absolute covered in trichombs . not on to the cure
