Ladies are looking good. No nutrients yet. Only a little great white. It’s so slow at the beginning boring. Humidifier broke I’ve got a new one expected in the mail tomorrow.
Chugging along, everything is going great. A little bit of veragation on the cbd critical cure.
I’ll add the scrog net (the plants have to be higher than my tower fan)

Put in my DIY scrog netting last Wednesday.
Everything is healthy and happy. Can’t wait to see budlets in a few weeks. I’ll start feeding 2-3 times a day this coming week.
Just did a defoliation, some really huge leaves on the purple kush plants. Just sort of waiting for the net to fill out before switch. I’m thinking 2-3 weeks. I’ve got a new reverse osmosis system coming in the mail and a 55 gallon tank so it’ll make watering 2-3 times a Day much easier than going to the water store with 5 gallons jugs. Also it’ll help the plants grow that much faster with more feedings. Cannot wait.
Everything is going great. The dative plant in the center of the scrog is stretching a lot. Buds coming in hard and heavy. Especially the purple kush which looks amazing.
Everything is looking great. Except one pheno of the purple kush. Flowers aren’t stacking, still quite small especially in comparison and it’s not at all purple. Hopefully it’ll catch up during p/k week. which starts in a few days.
Most of my leaves are praying everything is healthy and happy.
Just making a quick update today to document adding pk 13/14 at 5.8ml/g
This is the only nutrient I feed at full strength. Everything else is approx half recommended.
Going great. Really seeing the p/k boost kicking in. Flowers stacking and growing in girth. This is far more important than length, ask my wife. It’s true. Really.
Anyway it’s good.
Going great. Smell has become an issue this week with all the rain storms were receiving. The high humidity has my carbon filter pretty much useless. I’m in California so I’m not worried about legality. That said I live in a townhome so I’m not exactly trying to upset or advertise to my neighbors. Not too much I can do though. Getting excited and also not looking forward to trim. Looks to be about 2-3 weeks out...maybe 4-5 on the Sativa plant...or more.
The smell is amazing. And amazingly strong. It’s been really humid here and my carbon filter isn’t working well. Few more weeks for the kush. Maybe 3-4 for the cbd Sativa. Getting excited. But as always not looking forward to trim.
So my plan was to harvest the purple kush this weekend. But it’s not quite ready. Now I have to let it go two weeks because I’m busy next weekend. Such is life.
So I’ll start flush on Wednesday.
So not next weekend the weekend after that.
Plus one of the phenotypes of the purple Cush is a must save. So here’s my plan. I’m taking some cuttings from the lower side, placing them in the cloner on 24h light. Hope and pray they root. I’m sure at least one will. Then keep it growing in my garden outside for the summer. Then in the fall I’ll take clones from that and use them for next years indoor grow.
I tend not to grow indoors during the summer because my AC already breaks the bank.
So a bit of monster cropping/mother plant. Experiment. Cross your fingers.

I don’t have to time or knowledge to build one but I wanted one. Growerslights builds and tests for you for $50. Money well spent. This light is the shit. Full stop. So bright, so efficient. I’m getting a lot more light for 80w less per hour and that’s on full power. I’m going to start at 1/3 and slide up a little over the next few days. It’s the hlg-650h ok commercial done.
I cannot wait to do a full grow under this monster.
As far as the current plants. They’ll do their last week and a half under it. I’ll move the mars hydros to a small cloner I got.
Flushing now until harvest on the weekend of the 30th-31st
Killer looking grow. I like your set up and the combo HID/LED light set up. Watched the video and was quite impressed with some of the sugar/frost on the buds. Continued best wishes on the grow!
I hold about 9 degrees above ambient(that’s ferenheit) . Yes only one fan but a 6 inch exhaust fan through a carbon filter. So my days are around 65-70 here in San Diego California right now and 45-55 at night. It’s dry here so I don’t have to worry too much about high humidity during late flower.
Oh and it’s a 400w hps so it’s not putting out huge heat like a 1000w so it really all depends on your lights. More wattage, more heat. Regardless of its it led or hps. But clearly hps put out a lot more heat.
Hello man i hope all is well, my setup looks similar to yours. i were using hps and added 1000w china led to the tent and just dropped 4 beans to the soil. may i ask u the temperatures, you looks like have just 1 fan inside the tent. i just checked my temperature and when full lights open its around 30's with 1 intake fan+1 for blow out and 2 from air circulation. @JUNGLE_B4RNS, I hear you and I reflected before I even read this and decided to continue veg. Yes I’m going to fill 85% of the screen with tops before flip. I’m a bit concerned about the stretch of the two cbd plants because they’re heavily sativa. They may stretch a lot.
@KilgoreTrout,ok I see... technically a ScrOG is use when you have/want just a few plants to grow. During Veg you keep the mains tops under the net sending them to the sides, as the same time these mains tops will grow shoots from each internode, this is where you fill up the trellis. When most of the squares are full of tops, you still let them grow 2 nodes minimum, this is where you get a bud in every hole while keeping canopy level under control... and finally when everything is ready and full you switch to 12/12 .
My question is , if there’s not a top in every holes where is she going to put her buds ? 😊
The right airflow is missing in your environment.
Airflow is one of the many important factors.
This is why they’re growing like magic beans, they don’t feel the need to build a solid stem and they don’t build solid roots to anchor strongly in the media.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, this was after one day in the pop box. In the picture they’re in my room with a fan blowing on them lightly. So no worries they’ll strengthen up.
