This week was really hot, where im from spring started like 2 months ago so the enviroment is pretty warm arround here, roughly 30°C during the arfernoon. Im hoping it doesnt affect the plants too much.
-Germination of the seeds was done in wet paper towels inside a tupper, after two days the radicle showed up from inside the seed.
-The seeds were inmediatly planted in their definitive pots and left in my balcony. I went away from home for 2 days, when I came back the seeds had already sprouted and the plants were developing their first pair of serrated leaves.
-when the second pair of leaves started developing the plants were moved to the grow "room"
-Watering only with water
OK Soo first I want to apogise for the lack of pics, I was too lazy to do 1 by 1 photos 😭
This week was as hot as the previous one, as you can see in the pictures some leaves are starting to curl up due to the heat, a small fan was placed inside the grow and outside a big fan blows air into the indoor (the former fan is 40cm wide)
-this week the plants were watered every day
-2 of the 7 irrigations were done with fertilizer, the remaining five just with ph regulator
This week brought some positive changes, the weather stoped being a pain in my ass for once, as the temperature dropped to a nice 25°C.
I started the LST on the two plants that are in the black pots, the one in the circular pot will serve as a control subject of some sort lol.
(there is another diference being the smaller pot so I cant legally call it a control 😂)
-the plants were watered only 6 times in the past 7 days and 2 of the irrigations contained fertilizer
-a slight smell fills the room where the plants are located, the stem is pretty smelly too. The smell is kinda skunky
-apart from the LST defoliation was performed in the 3 plants to expose the lateral sprouts emerging from the main stem to the light source
This week the temperature rose again to about 30°C during daytime, the plants are still growing at a steady rate.
-Lennon 2 already shows signs of flowering (pistils have started to develop in some nodes)
-As of day 27 lennon 2 has started flowering and stopped its growing process
-lennon 1 is still in veg phase
-lennon 3 has started to develop pistils
Watered 6 times this week (2 with fertilizer)
*photos taken day 32
So half of week five has gone by and all the plants have entered the flowering phase.
Changed the nutes and stopped LSTing the plants.
Altough it's a bit hot the plants seem to be pretty healthy.
I'll have to wait and see how this al turns out 🕖😳
This week the T° is a bit high, the plants have been asking for a little more water than usual.
Lennon 2 seems to be the pant with the most developed flowers and lennon 1 the one with the less developed ones, which is no surprise as lennon 2 started flowering a week earlier.
Regarding the nutes I'm feeding the plants every 2 irrigations (about twice a week).
As week 6 comes to an end the tallest plant stands at 60 cm.
After rubbing the resin of the buds with my fingers I detected a rather tangy smell, similar to oranges, I hope the flavor profile goes that way too, I love citrus tasting flowers 😂
Photos from day 49
As you can see lennon 1 and 3 are taller than lennon 2 which started flowering earlier.
Also lennon 2 is sucking up considerably less water than its two sisters.
I think lennon 1 and 3 are going for the long run, while I plan to harvest lennon 2 in three weeks or so.
The flowers are developing at a slow pace which has me a little concerned.
Any ideas/suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Regarding the slow flowering rate of the plants: do you think it's fine?? Should I pump up the nutes? (I feed them every 2 irrigations with the doses posted above).
No I wouldn't up the feed at this point. More food won't make it flower faster. Just let her go at her own pace and she will let you know when she is ready. Good luck!
Pics from day 56
At the end of week 7 I overfed lennon 3 and some leaves burned, she has been receiving only water since, and it seems that she is ok now.
Lennon 2 still has the biggest buds of the 3 plants, it think i'll give her 2 more weeks to go.
Pics from day 63
Today I flushed only Lennon 2 as the trichomes where mostly milky with some amber showing up in the bigger buds, Im hoping to harvest her next thursday (day 70).
Lennon 3 has been drinking but she still suffers (as you can see from the curled and burnt leaves) from the overfeeding problem... Greed won't take you far I guess lol. The good thing is that I learnt from my mistake
Lennon 1 i think will be the star of the show, she is healthy aside from some nitrogen deficency showing up in lower fan leaves but its ok, she drinks a lot i thin ill give her 2 to 3 weeks more
Lennon 2 was harvested at day 70.
Lennon3s harvest us scheduled for day 77 and lennon 1 for day 84
Lennon 3 was flushed again last week and seems to have lost the excess of salts, I hope the smoke isn't too harsh
The high was very cerebral with a mild body high, the effect is ideal for taking a long walk or focusing on something... Overall a very pleasant not too strong "sativa" high. The smell and flavors remind me a lot of sour diesel.
Ok so lennon 3 was cut on week 11 but i was out of town so i didnt take any photos, sorry :(.
Lennon 1 was cut on week 12 and is now fully dried.
Production:
L1:50gr
L2:36gr
L3:32gr
I really liked this strain, its easy to grow, kinda forgiving, and production wasnt bad either.
