Ok so as expected growth is at minimum. I know it usually takes a few days to come back from topping, but this can’t be the speed of growth in coco coir, it would take me months to match the size of my autoflowers in soil.
I’ve done a lot of research on the subject and I’ve hit a brick wall, I have changed coco coir! I changed to a complete line of nutrients (advanced nutrients), I’m checking PH & EC though I don’t need to. Ph is always between 5.8-6.2
I’ve replaced my lamps 600w metal halide-veg, 600w hps-bloom, and added 200w cob led.
I have a heater on an auto therm keeping the room at 25c during lights on, 20c during lights off. I keep a humidifier on all the time, humidity is the least stable as it has always been. RH50-75% the humidity without it is 35% but only if I have forgot to refill the humidifier, which has never been an issue before.
I think I’m going to mix 50% coco coir with 50% biobizz all mix in my next grow I’m wasting my own time with this at the moment.
There has been some growth over the last 2 days :) and she looks to be in good health, I’ve cut back on the nutrients at the moment, only watering with root stims and vitamins. I may have stunted her.
Defoliate and started training
CoCo is great. I run a 50/50 coco/perlite mix and love it and so do my plants. My only issue I ever had was salt build up. It's important to flush your plants every so often especially between veg and flower to help prevent that. Good luck
I can see what u mean not good when your use to things goin faster I dont think its coco could just be a bad seed or something gone wrong somewhere along line shocked her possibly
@Cheesecakes,the only thing u do difference to me is I start mine in coco no soil or paper towel it could be u start them in soil and then put in coco only thing I can think of
@biggreens420, thanks bro I’m hoping I can manage 8 tops in the 8 weeks veg period if I can get a couple extra I’d be happy, 12/12 on the 8 week mark as I will be leaving them to a friend while I holiday for two weeks. Let’s hope I come home to bud and not rot or anything haha
Lovely lady bro, I love the jack!! I remember when she first got released years back sh was my fav I think it's great keeping the old strains alive good work
Solid looking plant you have there, man. I can't believe the stretch she had from week 1 to week 2, it has me hype as F#@K to see how much my plant will stretch since I just started flowering. Good luck with this stage of the grow, hope you get some solid buds!
