I had a test plant i was attempting to grow in my window in the summer- with natural light- the plant didn't do the best but i did get a nug off it. The nug gifted me with this seed and it sprouted no issue at all- and now thriving in my tent. Hope to see her get big n strong.

Weird week, both my TW + GB seem to get droopy when it nears the end of the 18hr light cycle.. i adjusted my light up higher and introduced a small fan inside the tent. Switching pot later this week. Hopefully the plant will be happier. UPDATE 2019.12.23 Time warp was transplanted into 3 Gallon Fabric pot- roots looked really good, I think it looks happier- switching into a larger tent with God Bud after the holidays. Fan leaves look larger, stock seems a bit weak so I adjusted the fan lower to blow onto them to make stronger. I will add week 4 on Thursday.

Happy Chrimbus. TW is looking better this week, lots of growth in the nodes, the stalk looks THICK. BUT she also is a weird plant because I know nothing about it. Was found in my bud from the test plant. Just switched over to my large tent so the two can be alone to grow. I topped her a few days ago and looks to recovering well. :) 2019.12.29 well well well this beautiful bitch is pre flowering and showing ITS A GIRL! im so so so happy. YAY I plant to keep her in veg maybe 2/3 more weeks- she isnt very tall.

Happy New Years! This lady is LANKY, but it's known for this strain to reach 13 feet haha. She has shown her sex this week which is a BLESSING. These beautiful white hairs make me so happy. I introduced nutes this week to the two plants in this tent- looking very happy. Switching between PH balanced water every 2nd feeding and they really seem to be enjoying it. I'm hoping to switch the lights to 12/12 in the next 2 weeks but I kind of want her to grow a bit bigger so I can get a decent yield. Switching positions of the plants to see if it effects anything. 2020.01.04 the leaves are looking pretty dark on her, and alot of these white hairs popping up more and more everyday? im so confused right now. I have a bit of nute burn which i expected a bit of it at first. Is this normal for all these white hairs in veg? its still 18/6 light schedule...... with veg switched on- nothing has changed.

Well.... this is a weird case. Like I said before, this is a seed off my first test plant. It looks to me like shes in full bloom..... lights are still 18/6 and nothing has changed besides alot of white hairs. She is tall and sparse and I wish she could have actually grown a bit taller instead of showing her sex- oh well. Switching between light nutes and PH balanced water. jan 12 bud sites getting larger, thinking of putting her to 12/12 i guess lol since she is just doing her own thang/ smells good though- fed no nutes just ph water

Well decided to switch to 12/12 bloom lets get some bud off this girl! She is so lanky and weird, smells good though. Keeping the RH down a bit in bloom, doing the PH water/. I wonder if I should do bloom nutes to help her kick it up a notch. I'm very excited for this next chapter! BUD TIME

She is doing well, buds are developing more this week, I notice it's starting to get covered in crystal. This tent RH is lower and I noticed the fan leaves are getting a bit dry. Feeding PH balanced water, every 2 days or so. For being a chronie she's looking good lmao. WELL update jan 26 This tent either has nitro toxicity or need nutes, so I have moved my light down a bit, flushed with GHE bloom + micro this is my first time giving nutes but I think they need it since my soil literally has nothing in it. I ordered some calmag incase I need it- this has been such a learning curve but fun. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to help me out with my first grow!! Stay tuned for updates on Thursday.

Weird week, Nitrogen toxicity. As of 3 days ago I started on nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, so it makes sense. She does look better today but eh. Leaves are dry as heck, humidity is about 50% ish she is feeding good, good runoff and PH. She is a chronie and thats all she is going to be. I'm mostly just seeing what she can do. I can smell weed when I go down in my basement but when I open the tent I have no smell/ or mine sucks cause I smoke too much upstairs lol. I notice a few amber hairs today but they look a bit bigger and fluffy. Not much to update. BIG shout out to @jinks101 for helping me out and answering all my questions!! Well, this girl has changed alot over the week, as you can see buds are fattening up, orange hairs and the trichomes are MILKY. The lower fans are starting to lighten up and change color. I did do 1 flush on the weekend of PH balanced water. Tomorrow I will give a feeding to this tent. I guess I will watch the trichomes and that will tell me when harvest time is... like this plant is SO WEIRD. But she's my chronie, gotta love her. I am starting to use tap water instead of RO, so we shall see how that goes... honest;y though i think for flushing i might just do the RO incase the shitty water in my town hurts her. Also thanks again to everyone on here, so supportive and a great community. 👽 Happy growing FEB10 update, more trichomes, getting kind of a smell going, more woodsy/pine? let's see how this week goes lmao did an update video

Well Chronie update, took alot of budsite photos today. Even though this plant hasn't gone as planned and been a brat the entire time/ it makes me so excited to see bud. Everyday it changes, as of this week, very amber and a LIL bit of purple starting. With no photos of this plant or having it on grow diaries, i really don't know what to expect even if it was a good plant to begin with. HEY it is what it is. She has gotten a flush this week of just pure PH balanced water, in between feedings. AS you can see, the fan leaves look awful, but look back in this diary and you will see it hasn't changed much. Though the leaves are starting to fade in colour near the bottom, and curl even more severely. PH is fine, RH is fine, light might be a bit high but i'm sacrificing her for the autos as they are fucking GIANTS. I took a photo standing next to them and lol they are as tall as me i'm 5'2. NOT much else to report, I don;t know when she should be flushed so I'll just keep an eye on the trichomes, i need to get a lil magnifying glass- on my way to order one now. Thanks for all the help on this journey! 👽 MONDAY FEB 17/2020 Flushed plants today, trying to get ahold of why my plants look like trash. Been a rough week for all plants, hoping this will help and that I will see an improvement by Update diary day. FLUSHED WITH ONLY WATER FOR THIS PLANT, smelling good today also.

She doesn't change much/ but buds are getting bigger! February 17/ I flushed with pure water, trying to get rid of all nutes and build up. Buds are looking alot fatter this week, more crystally, more orange hairs. She is still a chronie, and my chronie at that. The leaves look alot more green today/ I wonder if the flush has been helping get rid of all the excessive nitrogen she's had built up since the beginning. In my other diaries I mentioned that since I started on tap water a few weeks ago, I noticed issues with my plants. I think it's because the PH is so high and lots of minerals in it? I ordered PH down and it should be here tomorrow so I can adjust as accordingly to feeding my other plants. The PH of the soil and water and runoff all seem to be around 6.5 If I could lower this maybe the plants would be able to absorb some of the other nutrients better. I'm hoping she will be ready soon! Still looking for a magnifying glass but it seems like you can only buy these online now days lol. Happy growing and harvesting! 👽

Feb26/2020 Well my chronie is almost done her life cycle, trichomes are about 30% cloudy, smell is alot stronger and I notice some of my fan leaves dying I flushed last week, and I did a flush this morning of PH balanced water. I'm looking forward to cutting her down and seeing what she gives me/ but NO high hopes. ( if you have followed this diary you know why lol ) I think she should be ready to harvest within 1-2 weeks? Honestly just looking forward to this tent being done/ so much learning and they are all ugly and sad. One day I will get the hang of this! Happy growing! 👽

Well I got a microscope this week, so i've been having alot of fun with it. She looks the same, smell is stronger, leaves are getting discolored and dying. fed plain water, she seems to be retaining more water these feedings. Checking trichomes daily, she looks mostly cloudy? Comparing her to my other plants so I can tell when these are ready/ If i zoom into the photos on my computer I can see a few amber, so means the time is getting near! I'm awaiting on the packing with my supplies to trim her! I'm excited to see how that process goes! Nearing the end of this, I have really taken away a ton of knowledge, from other grows, my own research and this great site. Thanks for the great experience!

March 11/2020 I did a full flush on Sunday March 8th, in my sink, let her get rid of all the last bit of nutrients. Leaves are fully ready to die// I have decided that's the last bit of water she'll get. Since she is my chronie, and i'm a newbie// she really is going to be an experiment. I hope to put her in total darkness by Saturday for 48 hours, then cut her down to hang. I'm getting excited it's nearing to the end// but now I have to learn about harvesting, so this should be fun. Not a ton to report back, smell is weak but we shall hopefully pump that up by curing her. Thanks again for all the help and guidance on my first grow!👽 FRIDAY March 13th Put her into total darkness this evening, for 48 hours, will cut and hang her to dry, its very DRY where I live, so I put a humidifier in the closet while shes in darkness// I will put it in there when hanging to dry also. Trichomes were 20% amber, so this is perfect for how I want her.

I chopped her down Sunday March 15, left all leaves on due to the humidity where I live// VERY DRY. I checked her today, she's doing great in the closet, not drying too fast// I have a humidifier in there with her.. hoping she'll be done in 3 days, then trim her, weigh her/// im assuming i won't even get 5grams off her but this was a huge learning experience for me. I will update when i trim, cure, taste her! thanks for being apart of my chronie's life cycle.👽 ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| March 19, dried and trimmed. got a total of 7.4 grams, put in a small mason jar with 62% bovida pack// buds feel pretty dry, hoping these will perk them up a bit, total dried 3 days. has a pepper smell at first/ I will update fully once the cure is done. thanks for all the help. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| March 28, curing for 9 days total so far, smell is increasing, i've been burping twice a day. After today only burping once a day for 1 more week/ then go to once a week. When it hits the 30 day mark, i will test a bud to see the taste/potency/ update for the final harvest.

Happy Harvest Day!

This was my first plant I've grown and harvested. Seed came off a test plant I tried earlier. I didn't expect this to grow at all/ it did but was VERY stubborn. Went into flower on it's own/ didn't react to light schedule/ had nitrogen toxicity at an early age and didn't recover. Overall, not unhappy with it, not happy either. I wish I had more seeds to try this one again, but I only had regular seeds and out of 12, this was the ONLY female... bummer.. rest turned male.

This was my chronie, she was an experiment, she didn't respond to light schedules and hates nutrients. I wish i could experiment more with this strain but out of the 12 seeds, there was only 2 female.. the first one is where i got this seed from. I didn't expect much, but hey i learned a lot during this grow. I will update this when i smoke it next week/ I don't have much of it so i want to cure for as long as possible. 420!!!!!! She is done curing and I currently am tasting as I type this, woody, earthy, pine; That classic 90's strain. Thick smoke, tip of the tongue tingles, an interesting taste to say the least.. I mean this was an experience in its own// smoking something I grew. I smoked a joint with a hemp rolling paper, without a filter. I will report back with more when I smoke with a filter, and through some glass!

Okay SO I'm pretty sure she has nitro toxicity. Since the nutes in the soil hasn't been used up.. Since she was a brat and is doing her own thing lol. I noticed today more curling of the leaves- ALSO both of the autos seem to be curling too.... I wasn't set up to grow autos so I mean, what can you do. Maybe next grow I will either get a hydro set up or grow in coco. I'm thankful they are growing nicely but the toxicity sucks :( I couldn't find anything online to see how to cure it besides flushing it/ which I haven't used nutes at all on her besides the organic soil.

This seed was off a test plant, and i'm actually surprised it's grown AT ALL> the leaves are funky as fuck- and it kind of is slow growing.... take it day by day!

I’ve had that problem and it was down to the light intensity. I use HID but same principle nearing the end of the light cycle they start to droop, a little is fine but your leaves look thick and a little dark so they’re taking up nitrogen but not photosynthesising as fast as should be. If you have the setting to change to blue only do this for a week set at 60cm wait till she starts bushing out then flick the bloom switch back on. One thing I will say about blurple LEDS is that the potential for good veg is there and easy. When they sag looks like they’re being over Watered fact is they’re not taking up water and not releasing it either as the light intensity or heat on leaf surface is signaling the stomata to stay closed, growth seems a lil stagnant, Side branches don’t develop quickly etc. Purple lights burn plants easily than HID the burn you get from HID is heat, from LED is intensity. Even a lil led should be 60cm away min in Veg and 40cm in flower. Sorry for the essay, good luck :)

@PharmaZ, I haven't been watering everyday, i do about 1L between 4 plants every 2/3 days, but I think maybe i went a bit ham and should let them dry out a BIT more between. Thank you, this is def like cooking!!!!!!! 😸
PharmaZ
PharmaZcommented5 years ago
@xbabybitchx, All good bro, it’s going to be fine. I will be back in soil next run. I learned a lot when I let my plants dry out. I think growing is like cooking in the sense that less is more. In many circumstances but nutrients and water specifically. At a young age It’s better to feed a little bit of water round the edges slowly than soaking the whole media. I think for the first 3 weeks I only feed 1L to 10L pots then once they start growing I double the amount of water so 2L Once you start seeing rapid growth the pot will suddenly be light as air that’s when I start soaking it everytime. I honestly believe watering practices are some of the most important things to try and get right. Good luck hit me up when you update and I’ll check it out👍🏼

@PharmaZ, BRO thank you! I'm using LED for both veg and bloom, i have the 600W LED switched to veg 18/6 about 22 inches above right now- I moved it up cause i have tiny lil seedlings in there and they look happy with it raised also. The growth has been a bit stagnent for sure, very slow, i just topped her yesterday and she still looks good. THANK YOU SO MUCH- means alot!!!!

some strains are extremely sensitive to any fertilizer and thrive in scrub soil..the thai I grew had that problem, The first time I fertilized they got really messed up. I grew the entire lifespan with zero fertilizer and got incredible results with just plain water
xbabybitchx
xbabybitchxcommented5 years ago
@oldtimer6455, Thank you! I think this strain might be very sensitive. It's only had organic soil & PH balanced water then it went into flower on its own and has looked like this ever since. I started to use nutrients to put her on the right course! Hopefully I will be able to get a lil something off the plant! Thank you for your insight!!!

@JinksyGrows, right? I'm mad confused but the other seeds I had of this strain- also showed the sex ( male ) around this age... in the same light schedule. Oh well i'm hoping to at least get something off her! thanks bud!! 👽

Change the LEDs for a better result, or at least if you don't want to spend a lot of money buy a pair of 30w Chinese LED bulbs of actual consumption spend a maximum of € 10 for each bulb but it must be cold white light

"Chronie", LOL, that's great. She will give you a couple nuggets it looks like, so I'm glad you're keeping her. She carried a lot of lessons with her, even if she didn't put out too much in the end. The knowledge gained, in the beginning, is sometimes more important then a harvest, believe that✊🙂
GrowAseed
GrowAseedcommentedweek 105 years ago
Hi there lady! I think you have been giving her way too much N (clawing leaves) at some point. My humble advice for you would be to give her clean water (EC around 0.60 Ms) for a week and then start 1/4 of the bloom formula and avoid going above 1.1 Ms in EC. When you water, do it till you see ~20% of it coming out of the bottom and NEVER let the pot sit in it's drain, rootrot guaranteed (unless you're growing a big plant in a small pot). Don't let the soil dry too much, EC increases when water from soil evaporates. Good luck with the plants and the weightlifting lol 💪🏋️‍♂️!
xbabybitchx
xbabybitchxcommented5 years ago
@GrowAseed, It's the weirdest thing i've ever seen!!! My soil only has 0.12% Nitrogen, so I wasn't sure of why it was doing what it was doing, but my autos ALSO curled under, I think the soil for these plants isn't the best choice, but hey gotta just roll with the punches!!!
GrowAseed

@xbabybitchx, okeyyy I see now, it's indeed very sensitive then, quite crazy it got nute burn with that little nutrients! Good luck with her then :P cheers!
xbabybitchx
xbabybitchxcommented5 years ago
@GrowAseed, Thanks for the advice. In previous posts, I have mentioned she is having nitrogen toxicity- This plant has gone went into early bloom on it's own and is a seed off my own bud I experimented with.. I have only given her PH balanced water up until this point, and I have done less than 1/2 strength of bloom nutes incase of shock! I think this plant really just has a mind of it's own. I wish it was more predictable but I call her my Chronie hahha, cheers!!
