Final gelato showed after nearly 5 days. Chuffed. All other plants have been out for 3 days at least. Today was first proper water since being in soil around 300ml each minus baby glue. 100ml water with pipette. Assuming she will catch up soon and receive same schedule as others by end of the week.
Absolutely amazed at the growth over the last week. Gave the plants their first (tiny) nute feed at 10 days old, 50% of recommended amounts.
No problems with temp after lowering light. GG has the tallest and shortest plants, CC are all way more consistent in size and shape.
All plants bar baby GG are on third set of "5" leaves.
Keen to start LST soon, will probably top GG1 at around day 21, and play rest by ear.
A massive week for us, my partner in *crime* came back, and we got fully into the whole LST universe.
Having never grown before in any shape or form I'm real happy with how healthy the babies are.
GG 1 was way bigger than the rest and showed slight signs of CalMag deficiencies, since rectified.
All are now being trained. 3 by me, 3 by Wol, and in very different styles haha
All except the 2 smallest have been topped also at day 19 (GG1) and the rest at day 21 from germ.
Light defoliation at day 26.
CC2 was first plant to show signs of flowering, at day 25
First week of flower for all plants except CC2, which despite being faaaaaar denser in terms of vegetation than any other plant, only started flower Fri 17/01
Been a lot of fun, and I'm sure it is far from textbook LST, but definitely seeing a huge benefit to the uniform canopy. Great to see 2 different, new approaches to it also. Having no heat trouble from the second light.
CalMag hungry for sure, slight lightening of tips noted last week.
The Cream Caramel finally started to shtink this week, creamy sweet and mild, but definitely there. The Glue Gelato has been crazy smelly for over a week now, citrus bubblegum vibes. Amazing how quick the leaves have started to show sparkles of resin too.
Steady into flower now. Biggest surprise was easily baby gelato, who is now and by a long shot the tallest plant in the tent! Cream Caramel 3 is (at the end of week six) only a couple of days into flower, and waaaaaaaaay denser than the others, unusual pheno! Wol has built all the custom stuff in the tent just trying shit out basically and it looks to have sorted the negative pressure issue and given us an extra place to sit the 6" fan. Nice. Same feed schedule no more issues with deficiency from what I can see. Onwards and upwards!

We have been maintaining a steady 28-29 degrees during a solid heatwave, pretty pleased with that. Giving a little CalMag still, but mainly just the bloombastic. Flowers keep taking more and more mass on, seeing as it's our first try just playing it by ear on time left using the microscope, first signs of amber trichomes woohooooo
This week we started to flush after the first signs of proper cloudy trichome cover. Not long now! Plants have been quite heavily defoliated in the top 2/3 of each branch, in an effort to maximize flower growth in the last stages. Considering using ice for the final 48hr blackout. Any ideas welcome. Still piling on mass at a surprising rate and all stinking heavily. GLue Gelato has some sweetness and heavy gas notes, and the cream Caramel, well like name like shtank haha. Close to first ever harvest. It's business time!
What can I say about Barney's.... solid, consistent genetics. Easy to grow. My first ever seed to stoned grow, and I am not too proud to say that the genetics played a huge role in our success while learning and practicing. What a journey, here's to the next one. If youre6wondering whether to go with Barney's (not sure why you would) then my advice is go for it, zkittlez Og are already popped ready to fill half the 2.4x1.2 project
Loved using GrowDiaries especially for my first ever grow. What a fantastic tool, and even better community. Will definitely be using sweetseeds again, this strain was amazing. Uniform, easy to grow.. no mold or problems with bugs (we kept a f****n tight ship tho) lovely touches of purple through all the plants towards the end.. the resin is our of this world too. Would definitely grow again and recommend 🤜🏼🤛🏼☘️🙌🏼👌🏼
