1/4 AM - 😭 Shit happens. And it did. Light kicked on this morning and I wanted to SLIGHTLY correct the bends that occurred over night. Mistake. Snapped my bubblelicious's main stem. Still slightly attached. I splinted it and tapped it. I HOPE it bounces back! It's a longer grow autoflower *about 12+ weeks. I would LOVE if she can recover before flower kicks in and I can try to bend her again. If not, I will have to move her to her own tent to keep the light even on the other plants. 😟😥 *** SPOILER - She recovered GREAT! Check week 7. Can't even tell she had been broken in half! ****

Anything could happen but at the moment, I am VERY surprised to see how the bubblelicious is trying to come back! 🙌✊ Even the dead leaves are starting to revive and recover. I doubt it get a very good yield but if I can get a half ounce (dry), I would be thrilled! 💪

1/12 PM - After yesterdays watering, I did some LST on both. Yesterday was the first feeding. I was letting the soil do the work for the first few weeks. It might be my imagination but it seems like the plants really grew over the 18 Hr period since the feeding. I might add small amounts of nutes in the soil grows from now on just to see what happens. 3/5 AM - Was bored so decided to try and bend stems to open up inside for light and level out the canopy some more. It worked pretty well! 😁 I tried not to touch the buds much. Only had to handle the main bubblelicious cola a bit. It was pretty stiff. No breaks! NO MORE BENDS!!! I switched the lights back so the 100W is on these again.

This was my second Amnesia Haze Auto from Seedsman. It grew almost identical to the first. Same size plant and very close to the same bud structure. I think the first one was a little stronger in potency but that's probably on me. I started using Recharge during this grow and think it helped quite a bit. All my previous grows experienced very minor deficiencies at some point during the grow but this one didn't show any signs that I noticed. I also started using Terpenez during this grow. I did the full grow application which adds a little every few days instead of a lot during final week of flower and flush. I was hoping for extra trichomes with as little added taste as possible. I don't know that it worked much at all. My harvest time was definitely on the early side. Mixture of cloudy and clear trichomes. It's a speedier high. *I like* I have pressed about half an ounce. It gets ok return but nothing to brag about. I'd say about 15%. Maybe.
This plant grow was pretty much identical to my first Amnesia Haze. I am happy with the results. She flowered pretty much on schedule. This one ended up with a little hint of pink color in the buds. Which is a little strange since I grew her right next to a Bubblelicious plant which was suppose to possibly have some pink color but didn't. I am 100% certain that the plants were labeled correctly! :-) Sadly, she won't be used for her initial grow purpose since Bonnaroo 2020 has been rescheduled for September. Now I am down to my last Amnesia Haze seed. :-( I am looking forward to popping it. I have cut these last 2 plants at about 15 weeks when the trichomes were cloudy/clear with no amber. I plan to let the next one go a little longer to see what the high feels like with more CBN.
This was my first Bubblelicious. I don't have much experience with CBD plants. :-) It tastes good. I don't get "ripped" from it but I suppose that's normal for higher CBD plants. The grow was great! I grew it next to an Amnesia Haze and they were perfect tent mates. They had the same low structure using LST. I broke the main stem completely in half during an early LST and was very worried that I doomed her but after throwing some tape on her and waiting a week or two she totally bounced back! In the end, she was only 10 g shy of the Amnesia Haze dry weight. I look forward to growing another one.
I enjoyed this grow. I freaked out a little when I broke her while doing some LST. She bounced back really well. I could have let her grow a little longer and it wouldn't have been a bad idea. I started this plant and the Amnesia Haze at the same time and planned on chopping at the same time because of a planned vacation. Due to covid-19 the vacation had to be postponed but that didn't get decided until after the chop. The trichomes were still mostly clear and cloudy. I think the CBD would be more potent if I'd have waited. Mine didn't get the pink color buds but they still looked very nice.
@NeedsMoreFans, Thanks! I am hoping for some nice buds too! I totally agree on the time!! These are my 5th and 6th autos. (I think) All of my previous grows have taken longer than expected. Even with the extra time, I still chopped with mostly cloudy trichomes and no amber. Loved the smoke though!! *I think the Sweet Seeds might be the first to finish on time if they keep going like they are now *
@TheOtherSide, that seems like a lengthy grow for the auto. But then again, we just never know with auto genetics. They can run short, long, or around on time. Make the best of the rest of your journey this season. I'm sure they will turn out lovely in the end.
@NeedsMoreFans, The Amnesia has at least 2 more weeks. It's just really starting to get good rosin tips. They are all clear. The Bubblelicious might have 3 weeks. 😕

@NeedsMoreFans, I totally understand what you mean. As a new grower, I am finding that there is lots of information out there about auto-flowers that is outdated. Even a lot of the more popular sites are very against any kind of training with autos. I have not tried to top or fim yet. I plan to do that in one of the next grows! 😁

I think they did a good job on the genetics for it to be resilient like that. I'm always worrying that they'll flower early from breaks like that. Then I remember, those are the thoughts from people who knew the first genetics of many of the autos. They are much better now at making plants that can take somewhat of a beating. @TheOtherSide, everything looks nice man. Got some good weights, I'm estimating you should see around 3oz dry weight on each other those plants, give or take a .5oz in weight on either side. I could be way off, but that's what I'm going for. 👏
@TheOtherSide, I've also noticed that autos are taking 2-4 weeks longer than their stated specs. I don't know what it is, but that is what I've experienced as well for several seasons. I wait until I start seeing amber heads with the naked eye.
@NeedsMoreFans, Thanks! It looks and smells very good!! Very sticky during trim. :-) Only compaint, (my fault) I still might have harvested a week or two earlier than I should have. I scoped quite a bit during trim and there are lots of clear trichomes mixed with the cloudy. Someday I will figure out why my autos take 2-4 weeks longer than other growers. 👉👊
