Doing another White Sugar OG scrog this time with 2 plants both in 30 litre pots. I'm hoping to fill the screen much faster with 2 plants and also to really push the trichomes with the range of nutrients i've since upgraded to.
Plants doing OK, one seems to be a bit sensitive to the nutes but new growth looks fine.
Have also raised the led light a little more.
Lots of side growth coming through too
Plants doing well.
I had some spare plants so have swapped one of the white sugar OG that seemed to be nute sensitive with one that wasn't as fussy. Although I'm pretty sure the new plant is a white sugar OG I'd actually had her labelled up as a Northern Legend.
I had 2 spare white sugar OG plants and 2 Northern Legend started for a medical user all at the same time . I'm pretty sure my labels are the wrong way round as the plants I'd been treating as NL's since beginning and don't resemble the wsog were actually labelled the opposite way round when swapped the nute sensitive wsog with a new one.
Training is going well, defoliating a lot of the bigger leaves every few days so I can see what i'm doing in the screen.
Plants are drinking a lot more last few days so hope it wont be too long before screen is full although I will flick to flower in 2 weeks regardless.
Ideally I want to flick these to flower in another week but i'll think I will still have some gaps in screen if do.
snapped a main branch partly accidently but it doesnt seem to have effected growth at all and looks like it will heal.
Had hoped to fill the screen a little bit more but I may be well be moving house in the next couple of months so need to get these in flower now.
Plants got a training session today and I will switch to 12/12 and change to the remo flowering nutrient range on the next feed.
Will probably do one final tucking in a bout 3 days before leaving the plants alone to stretch.
Flicked to 12/12 a week ago and have had one final tuck under the screen half way through the week.
Plants are not really showing much signs of pistils at this stage but it looks like they are stretching now so won't be far away.
Flowering seems to have started to kick in now.
Plants had a final tuck under and train half way through last week and have also had a bit of defoliation too.
Hoping to see some trichomes by end of next week.
2 different phenos here, one has stopped stretch and in regards to flowering looks about a week ahead then her sister.
The taller wsog, although slowed down looks like she may stretch a little more.
The taller wsog looks to have stopped stretching and is starting to fill out now and just starting to push out her trichomes.
The shorter plant looks around a week ahead but both plants are on same nute strength. Getting some gassy, lemon smells almost like floor cleaner
Getting some really nice sweet lemon smells kind of like lemon barley drink or sweets
The taller one is now starting to fill out and if the main colas fills out as I'm expecting it to it's going to be an impressive size. She's really starting to throw out trichomes now too.
All looking good, nice lemony smell in the tent.
The taller plant bud is now starting to fill out nicely. I'm not convinced she'll be ready in 2 weeks (9 weeks total flowering ) but the other plant will be definitely ready.
Ideally I want both down at same time.
Going to keep the smaller on nutes one more week but I'm going to start flushing her next week regardless of how finished the other one is.
So ideally both be down at 10 weeks flowering at the same time. If not I'll take the other one another week so 11 flowering total. I wouldn't normally go this long but I can't resist wanting to see that huge tall cola fully bulked out to her potential.
The shorter plant has now had a weeks flush and will be coming down in a day or 2.
The bigger monster plant has at least 2 weeks. I'll give her another week and then have a think if looks like I should start to flush or try another week. All the while she's continuing to fill out and frost up it makes sense to let her carry on.
Shorter plant is down and drying and I'm letting the other go but not sure how long for.
Parts of the plant look ready others could go 2-3 weeks.
I'm going to continue feeds a few more days to a week and then start flush.
She's still fattening up which is going to make her an easier plant to trim up if leave her but on other parts of plant the trichomes are about 70% cloudy 30 Amber so I can't go too much longer plus I've plans for the space
Happy with results although I lost track on weeks was flowering for and went far longer then normal for an Indica dominant variety.
Lots of popcorn bud and very good quality trim. Hoping to try do a dry sift run with it.
