This week start very windy, Kushi Is suffering a lot more than Zoe so i help her a little.
I start with the Biobizz Fish-Mix yo help them.
OG Kush is showing stress problems, maybe wind broke the stem and I didn't notice, if she don't recover, maybe I'll need to buy another seed and try again :(
Trying to understand why OG Kush stopped growing, I started digging through the stem, it was there when I found that it was cut, probably because of the very strong wind, and new roots had grown.
All the energies that it had in the cotyledons it used to try to survive. i don't have many hopes, i transfer it into a new, smaller pot, and i'll try some foliar feeding, she is not going to recover in time, it will bloom smaller and weaker if it survive, but i don't care, i will take care of it until she dies :(.
*UPDATE, Kushi is now healthy and growing super fine, foliar feeding did wonderful i'm so happy
Sour diesel is growing super good, it already has five pair of leaves, i will continue with the same dose of nutrients.
I applied some neem oil to prevent bugs and parasitic fungi.
*UPDATE i'm applying LST on Zoe.
First week with the LST, Zoe is responding quite good to the training, i see some pH/Boron Problems in some leaves but i already attending that problem, i will still be pending if there is any new trouble, i think next week it will start bloom stage,
Kushi is in perfect conditions now, i will do in a few days a pot change again to a bigger one, i hope it doesn't start bloom yet cos it is really small yet.
tonight, on day 7 i'll apply another LST to Zoe.
This week start with Zoe showing its first pistils, so i'll start slowly adding flowering stage nutrients. i don't really know if i need to consider this week a flowering stage, i just see 2-4 white pistils on the side of the main cola (?) :/.
This week is the last time i use the Hesi Root Complex nutrient on Zoe, i will turn down the amount also.
Wind is now a major issue for me, some leaves are showing marks that i attribute to wind stress, and i'm a little worry cos there is nothing i can do to stop it, i'm hoping is just me being paranoid and my babies aren't suffering from the god damn strong wind i got in my balcony.
Day 2 UPDATE: not great pictures, i was late for work.
Day 4 UPDATE: I have to make the choice to do LST to Kushi, it suffer so much from the beginning that i didn't wanted to do it, it doesn't need more stress, but the wind was so intense this week that yesterday i found it completely bent by the force of the wind, so i put some wires to give it stability and and protection.
Day 7 UPDATE: I was hoping that kushi don't start blooming until next week, but today I find some pistils showing up :(. My pH meter finally arrived, so my pH problems are gone now, burned leaves doesn't go to recover though.
Week 2 of flowering!
this week i will break free some LST wires, the lower ones.
Kushi shows some pistils but it's not in full bloom yet, i already assumed that is not going to grow much and the production will be low, nevertheless i save it from death, low production is better than nothing though.
Zoe is in full bloom, so i'm giving it more bio-bloom, next week i'll start fattening the flowers, i'm studying the use of molasses so i'm thinking, if i get any, use it to improve the bacterial activity in the soil. if i don't get any molasses i can apply honey but i'm not so sure about it.
UPDATE Day 3: i applied a new dose of neem oil, now that my babies are in full bloom, there is more chances to attract some insects. today was the nutrient day also so i'm reducing the use of root complex because is not needed anymore. Next week ill not use any root complex.
Week 8, a hard week, xmas is coming and i didn't have too much time to take pictures, this week also i didn't have time to feed with nutrients this past wednesday.
Everytime i see my gorgeous babies, they are bigger, no more nutrient/pH problems this week.
week 9, Zoe is starting to show a lot of trichomes in the inner leaves, it grow a lot
Kushi is growing bigger than Zoe, i'm impressed.
i didn't put this info last week, about D6 of Week 8 i apply the last LST to Kushi, the reason was because it was growing a lot, and the secondary colas are not receiving enough sunlight.
Both are pretty good, i am monitoring them and i did some lollipopping to the lower leaves to both.
UPDATE D4: i will apply some molasses to see how it works.
This week i notice that Zoe is starting to take less water, it stop growing also, Kushi is still growing and i'm hoping i can harvest a lot of weed from it.
Last week i apply some molasses, this week i will apply some too.
I guess this is the final week for Zoe, im going to make a water flush and next week i'll harvest it, this decision is because more than 50% of the pistils are brown, and trichomes are starting to look ambar, just one or two, one thing that get me confused is that zoe keeps growing more white pistils, so im scared to harvest soon :/.
Kushi is still growing, so i'll keep feeding her for at least 2 more weeks
i already smoke it, it is very cerebral, good high, i think will be more strong while curing, its in a jar with a integra booster, to keep humidity to 62% constant.
Last Week i hope, im doing root flush this week,
temperature are so high this week, kushi show some leaves with heat stress but there is nothing i can do about it, i put it in a place where the sun doesn't hit it directly.
