Details are as follows
Strain: Mephisto Genetics S.O.D.K
Tent: 60cmx60cm tent with a few other plants.
Light: HLG QB288 V2 at about 150w
Pots: 5 litre fabric pots
Soil: Canna Terra Professional
Nutrients: GH Flora Trio
First time with Mephisto but heard great things so want to give them a go. Trying a few different strains at once in same conditions.
Both plants are staying quite short and squat. Both with very wide Indica style leaves.
Have started giving a small amount of FloraGro every other watering.
Gonna give one some lst over the next week and leave one to grow naturally.
Large stretch from both during the last week. Faint whiffs starting to come from them too, looking forward to that getting stronger.
I have started on bloom level nutes but will hold back as leaves are starting to look a little burned. Good week other than that.
#2 has developed some nasty looking marks on some leaves, not sure what it is though. Maybe wind burn from being close to the intake fan?
I have decided to leave both plants untrained. Next time I will top and lst and compare yield to this one.
Flowering is well underway now!!
#1 is looking to be a frosty one already. Lots of trichomes starting to form all over.
#2 is looking good too, but not quite the same frost.
Still going easy on the nutes.
Definitely got 2 slightly different phenotypes here as the plants look quite different.
#1 is looking to be a frosty one, #2 still frosty but to a lesser degree.
Both have ended up quite tall but hopefully the nodes will stack together nicely. Going to go back up in strength on the nutes over the next week.
Well into flowering now. Being careful with the nutes and very slowly building back up.
Definitely both have stopped deteriorating so much now so they can focus all energy into making lovely buds.
Just trying to maintain a balance now until they stop drinking so much. #1 looking to be a foxtail style plant where as #2 is looking much more leafy so definitely 2 different phenos here.
Starting to get a distinct orange/citrus smell from them :)
So these two have both has strong week of growth and are 2 veeeery different phenos. #1 is a foxtaily dense one, and #2........is gonna be a nightmare to trim. Also, loving the purps from #1.
I think #1 will finish first in about 2 weeks and I have no idea how #2 is gonna play out. Crazy how they are so different.
2 ever differing plants here.
#1 I think is very much ready to cut and will be doing so over the next day or two. Foxtail mad plant.
#2 is gonna be another week I reckon. Still very leafy and starting to foxtail more so won't leave too much longer. Could be a very heavy one depending on how much needs to be trimmed.
Gonna mostly consider #1 as that was the better of the 2 phenos. Orange undertones with a mostly chemy smell and taste. Very nice weed. Will definitely grow again.
Never seen 2 plants grow so different from the same pack. Both decent tho and #1 is very nice indeed.
Grow was easy but next time will run in bigger pots. Would definitely recommend.
Flowering definitely on it's way, day 35 and you're expecting you're pre flower stretch between now and day 50 to 55, from then on it's just all.ablut packing on weight! Good luck and keep growing!
