Hello again, this time i have started some new experiments and after a fair where i talked to a new, young and passionate breeder, i've decided to give a try to a new strain of his. It's a 50/50 indica-sativa, probably an hybrid of OG Kusk an AK-47
Ok, the plant seems to grow strong in coco, minimum watering and feeding and all seems ok. Only doubt i have is the low temperature, my house is cold and leds doesn't produce so much heat to raise it. Maybe it will slow down a bit
This week i strenghtened the nutrients than fimmed her; she's well responding to nutrients, is growing strong and though and with a touch of Terpinator she's arlready smelling a bit
After the last week fimming, this lady started to growing strong and firm, so firm i have problems in bending main branches. I've defoliated a bit lower branches to leave more power to the tips that reaches the light
In this week gone to a transitional state before flowering; the branches had thickened up and the small ones from mains are trying to reach the light, demonstrating hw strong is this strain. Probably i'll lollypop them in next weeks in favour of upper flowers
After less a week of transition, this baby turned into flowering stage. Now, until the end, i'll feed her with minimum nutrients in distilled water; i would try to maintain a controlled range of EC and PH to not overfeed. For this first experiment in coco will take it easy😀
Now this girl is in full blooming, she developed many hairy buds, smelly and sticky; since i start using Terpinator i have noticed the all the plant becomes more sticky than before and the leaves near the flowers ar all covered in resin. To maintain a strict regime of PH and EC i'm splitting the nutrients un two tanks, one with GHE products, the other with molasses, Terpinator and CalMag
Now we are in full bloom, flowers are very hairy and some are turning red; with the use of a bit of molasses i'm trying to make her build up more dense flowers and with the help of Terpinator, fully covered in resin
And this is, i think, the last week for this baby. I ripened her for some days than i turned to plain water with molasses, not too much though. As you could see in the pictures, trichomes are half amber and half dull, i think i'll wait until they will turn mostly amber before harvest
I'm very happy to have choosen this strain, those guys from Ghost Farm did a good work selecting this plant, is nice to grow, produce dense and smelly flowers and reminds old school AK-47. Maybe with more powerful lights she would have produced more
