First off let me say WOW, what an AMAZING FIRST GROW! I couldnt have dreamed it could have gone smoother than this! The quality of the final product is far better than I could have ever hoped for, I am EXTREMELY proud of myself! Thanks to all those that helped along the way !!
This is an amazing day or night strain! It definitely will give you a strong buzz, but its fairly energetic for the day, while at night it can definitely help you to fall asleep. The buds are extremely caked in trichomes and range from many different shades of green to dark purple! The smoke is very smooth (after a 7 day flush with distilled water in dwc buckets) and has a strong smell of pungent fruit mixed with skunk and maybe a hint of fresh coffee grinds!
Using a trim bin, I was able to collect over 20 grams of pure kief!
So in total, 11.5 oz between the two plants, 6oz total leftover trim, and over 20 grams of kief, all under 300 Watts of light in a 2x4 space! Pretty amazing!
Overall I am SO extremely happy with the quality, yield and apperance. I would give it a 9.5/10 !! ๐๐
Seeing as I was using distilled water for my girls since day one, I absolutely needed cal mag. Cali magic did a great job!
Also, Armor SI proved to be an excellent branch strengther! I did not use any type of technique to hold up all the big heavy branches and I did not have any branches break before harvest !
Hydroguard in my opinion is an absolute MUST for DWC growers! Especially if you arent using a water chiller like myself! I had PERFECT roots from DAY ONE until CHOP!
A+++++
The electric sky V2 ES300 was definitely the pillar of this grow. It produced amazing lush dense growth both in the veg and flower state, and most important of all, HUGE DENSE BUDS in flower! I was worried that I would end up with light airy buds on my first grow and it was truly the exact opposite, I am amazed! Worth every penny !
So overall, this grow has just gone absolutely fantastic from start to finish! I ended up with a huge quantity of what I would consider quad buds on my FIRST grow! I had lots of good help along the way and have learned so much over the course of the last 17 weeks! Thanks again to everyone that helped along the way and HAPPY SMOKING!
Hello everyone. I just posted a new grow with all 7 weeks so far of veg under my new electric sky es300. Both plants are island punch by cali connection. Should I switch to 12/12 tonight! ๐
Hells yeah! Personally, I do a 36 hr blackout (to the minute!, Studies show less than 34 and More than 36 have no or negative effects respectively.). Then switch to 1212 immediately afterwards.. my trials have shown a decrease in harvest time without sacrificing yields.. but it's your call...๐
Just time it so you're lights on at your desired time..
Cheers! Keep it Green!
Is it normal for new growth 10 days into flowering to be lightening in colour? I am new and noticing that it is fairly lighter than previous veg growth before as my nutrient needs and feed has changed. Just want to be safe! Thx ๐
Hey man, new growth looking noticeably lighter in color during flowering is absolutely normal, you'll see this happening on every cannabis plant as far as I know. Dont be concerned about nutrients, your plants are looking extremely happy and healthy.
Peace :)
@@HiddenColorado, Hahah great comment! Thanks a lot for taking a look at mine, much appreciated! Best of luck in the competition, this is the first time I have entered one.
@Mrs_Larimar, I KNOW right?? This grow has gone so wonderful thus far. They are in the home stretch now! I will be taking them until I start seeing some amber trichomes and then I will begin the flush for a few days (probably 4-5 as I am in DWC and therefore dont need to flush as long as my medium will be 0 ppm). Cant wait to test these girls ;)
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you! Yes they are coming along nicely. This is a 9-10 week strain apparently so they still have 3-4 weeks to go. Cant wait to see the finished product !
@Mrs_Larimar, Haha thank you! Id have to say the same. I am starting to see what looks like some slightly purple pistils coming out of them.. not sure what it means but I sure am excited to see how they start changing in the following weeks. They have a lot of purple heritage in them and I let the temps get down into the 60's at night so they should definitely have some nice colours by end of flowering !
wow, have been looking through your diary. and its apretty good one up to here, Girls look great. And by having 9 fingered leaves . that means you are doing very well with their nutrients.... congrats
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you! I am very happy with them so far. I am excited/curious to look at them in an hour and a half after their first 12h darkness period! Will post an update tonight likely.
@Buddha2, I had one grow before this one of two seperate strains that both hermied on me after 7 weeks! I cut them down immediately. So technically youre right, its my 2nd, but it is my first ever grow that made it into flowering! So I would consider it my first successful harvest I guess would be the right terminology!
hello ,VERY NICE GROW!
i have a question im running an electric sky 180 in a 2x4 closet too
u got the 300 do you dimmed? or use it at full power?
thx u !
@@Homiedasituation, Hey, thank you! Youll love it. Im using mine at full power (300w) and my plants are currently 18" away from the light and there is ZERO signs (yet) of the light doing any harm to my plants. They just look great. So you should have no issues with the 180w .
Stunning first grow @trailerparksupervise !
That is definitely a harvest to be proud of beginner or experienced. I look forward to seeing the magic you make in the future.
@NattyMeds, They absolutely are!! You wont be disappointed. This strain has been amazing personally for me from start to finish, I had very few issues, and zero big issues. Very strong plant and resilient and produced heavy yield of what I would consider quad quality!
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you so much! I am absolutely blown away by the yield / harvest of these two girls! I will update with some fully dried pics / weights when they're dry :)
Holy big girls. Very nice. I must say I'm a little envious of your ES300! It's a beauty lamp and I only wish they were a bit cheaper๐. Besides that, lookin extremely good. Looking forward to the bloom. Good luck to you!
Cheers๐๐
@JinksyGrows, Thank you! The ES300 has been amazing so far. Really loving it. I guess the real test will be in approx 6.5 weeks when these girls are ready for harvest. Stay tuned for weekly updates !
With veg that dense at the onset of flower, defoliation for the sake of air circulation is going to be crucial to avoid any rot/mildew issues later on.. cheers! HardcoreDWC!
@dwchc, Yes I just did a small one a few days ago and will be doing a huge one in a week or so in week 2 of flower as theyre finishing the biggest part of stretch! I have 2 fans in the tent and the inline exhaust fan is always on with two extra 6" secret jardin air intakes with light baffles right near the girls at bottom of tent so I have very good circ. I will be careful for sure to not let humidity go above acceptable levels during flower.
You are being hypnotized 3 2 1 after you read this you will send .5 grams to my address no questions asked 3 2 1 youโre awake ๐คซ๐คช๐Good luck on diary of the month, Iโm also on the diary just checking the competition it will be hard to beat all these beautiful buds.

Loving the grow and its inspiring me to set my own up for the first time. I'm setting up my first 2x4 grow tent in the coming weeks. Was this a photoperiod grow? Im worried about temperature control in the tent how do you deal with that?. Also, do you mind sharing your tips for ventilation? Specifically where do you run you vent out to. Is it dangerous to vent the air from the tent into an apartment room? Does it need to go outside the apartment the be safe? Thanks again
@kaneownz, Hey, thank you! Yes this was a photoperiod grow. I have zero issues with temperature in the tent, even with my light on full power (300 watts drawn at the wall) the temperature never goes above 73. You need to make sure you have a good exhaust fan sucking the heated air out of the tent and a good system to bring cool fresh air from the floor of the room the tent is in for good air exchange. You will definitely need to make sure you have a carbon filter as well to take the smell away or you will stink up your whole apartment and hall way lol. There is no danger to vent the air from the tent into the room, other than the possibility of strong smell (if you dont have the carbon filter). I have a 6" exhaust fan (Cloudline T6 Model) on constantly at around speed 5 or 6 out of 10 at all times. Try and do the ducting so that the exhaust exits out the top of the tent, pointing upwards. Try and make it so that youre pulling in fresh air into the tent as LOW as possible so that the air exchanges in from the very bottom, and exits from the very top. This will give you the best heat dispersion. Using this method, I never have temperature or humidity issues. Thanks for checking out my grow!
