Hey everyone!!! The germination process was the following: The seed was put in water for 20h. After that , to a jiffy pellet until it sprouted
And finally straight to the medium (20l airpots).
Watered yesterday with 250ml ph'ed water. That should do for a couple of days.
I think i will keep adding 50ml of water per watering until a full watering of the pot.
Seems to be growing slow but steady. Fine by me since it is a photoperiod strain. No need to rush.
Hello growers
Day 15
The plant was fed for the first time today
Watered with 0.6l of water
0,5ml per litre of Biogrow
0,5ml per litre of Bioheaven
As soon as i watered the leaves became droopy. I was afraid i overwatered but after five mimutes she backed up real nice.
I guess she was shocked a little bit. Maybe from the temperature difference between the water and the soil.
Other than that she keeps putting on growth real nice.
Day 18
I performed her first lst today. Planning to keep her in low stress training for the rest of the grow. Still learning, so none of that fancy Hst for me.
Day 19
Watered untill runoff. As it turns out it was just what she wanted.
Hello to everyone
This week i kept on with the lst. In this stage i just keep adjusting the apical bud so its in the same level with the other shoots.
The watering is 3L of water with feeding in every watering.(1ml grow, 1ml heaven)
It takes a while to dry but i guess this will change as the plant grows.
Some brown marks came out to a couple of new growth leafs. Its either a cal def or its an iron def. At the moment i cant see damage anywhere else so no need to act for now.
I think i will raise the nuts in the next watering just to check if it can take it.
Thats all for now, see ya next week guys.
Happy growing.
Greetings fellow growers.
This week i kept watering with the same amount (3L per watering).
Still it does take a while between waterings but the plant looks okay.
Raised the nutes a little bit ( total nutes 1.5ml biogrow, 1.5 bioheaven)
Feeding with every watering.
Did some lst to even out the canopy and the plant came out with a cool structure.
I will have to stay on top of it because the growth is fast.
There are some small signs of macro deficiencies but only to a couple of leafs and it seems to have stoped there. So no need to worry for now.
That's all boys and girls. See ya all next week. Happy growing.
Hello everybody
Valentine's day is around the corner so i decided to dress my plant a bit. Nothing too much, just a couple of roses.
So, back to the grow.
This week i raised the nutes again. (Final doses: 2ml biogrow, 2ml bioheaven).
It will stay like these until flower.
I still feed with every watering (4L water). It just seems right to me.
Did some lst to the apical stem again. Hopefully my canopy at the end of veg will have 10-12 shoots all at the same height.
I run into something that looks like a cal def. I will try to keep an eye on my ph. If the problem continues i will need your help next week.
That's all boys and girls. Thanks for visiting.
Happy growing
Hello growers.
This week the plant's growth was clearly fast.
I think i found a good balance between the amount, time, and nutrient of the waterings.
It absorbs water in a much faster rate, so i water every 4 days with feeding in every watering.
The cal def seems to have slowed down. The scars in the older leaves remain but the new growth seems ok.
Did some lst to a couple of shoots and my canopy has 9 stems in the same height and 3-4 shoots 5cm lower
Next week will be the last week of vegetation.
Thanks for visiting.
See ya all next week.
Happy growing to all.
Hello growers
This was the last day of vegetation.
Tne plant is really tall by now.
The canopy is pretty even with 3-4 shoots just below the others.
The watering and feeding schedule remains the same. (5l per watering, 2ml biogrow, 2ml bioheaven). With feeding in every watering.
The only problem is, after the last watering the plant was looking a bit pale.
Its either a big fluxuation in the ph or this cal mag def. that i have been fignting for the last 2 weeks its really affecting the plant.
I decided to add some epsom salts in the next feeding.
I hope that will do the trick.
That's all for now.
Thanks for visiting
See ya next week for the first week of flowering.
Hello boys and girls.
This is the first week of flowering.
The plant seems to be recovering from that massive cal def i have been fighting for the last 10 days.
After paying a lot of attention to the ph of the watering, i think that this strain is very sensitive to low ph values. I think it likes to be around 6.7 of the scale.
Just to be sure i added some epsom salts in the last watering( 1 teaspoon per 4l of water).
If the problems continues, then i will have to do a flush because it willl mean i have a lockout. This is the last i wanted to do as a believe it is a shock for the plant.
However, for now it seems that the plant it is starting to find its rythm again. The growth rate picked up a little ( partially because of the flower strech) and leaves are starting to look better. We will see.
I introduced small amounts of bloom nutrients and i will build up carefully as i try to visually connect with the plants needs.
The canopy lost the uniformity it had 2 weeks ago but for now i ll leave it as it is.
Considering to do some defoliation in the mid-lower section in a couple of weeks as it is thick as fuck down there. But that will depend on tha plant's state then.
So thanks for visiting guys, ill see ya next week.
Happy growing yall
Hello guys
The plant seems to be a lot better this week.
Finally it seems that that fucking cal mag def is behind us.
However it is clear that it took its toll on the plant.
The transition to the flwering stage went ok but it could be better if the plant was 100% healthy in the veg stage.
Now it seems we have a different problem. I think i see some early signs of nutrient burn.
So i redused the dose of biogrow in the last watering.
The plant is getting 5 L of water every 5days with feeding in every watering.
The canopy sadly lost its uniformity. It is clear now that even though vipaspectra can do a good job giving quality light to the plant, they have really bad coverage.
I will try next week to fix it with some light lst.
In other news, i dropped my ph meter and now i cant get reliable readings. So tommorow im going shopping to my local growshop.
So that is all for now folks.
Thanks for visiting.
Hello growers.
It seems the strech is coming to a halt.
The plant got really tall but i guess it would have been a lot bigger without that calmag def in the veg stage.
Anyway, it is clear now that i could have done a better job with the lst training as the canopy has two rows of stems in different heights.
I tried to manage that nute burn from last week by keeping the same nut dosage but i lowered the biogrow.
So that is all for now.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy growing.
Hello growers!
The flower strech has officially stoped.
Now the flowers seems to be focusing on bud making.
After the last watering the stems exploded with little white buds everywhere overnight.
2 days ago i start smelling closely the buds. I noticed a very sharp citrus smell.
It reminded me of my first grow.
Back then the strain was Think Different auto by dutch passion.
About the nutrient burn.
I am not sure it is backing off so i lowered even more the biogrow.
So really looking forward to see the development of this plant after all these problems.
So thanks for visiting.
See ya next week
Hello growers
The plant seems to be doing good.
As a haze variety , it is a slow bloomer but now ot seems to be increasing its flowers faster.
The smell is getting more recognizible by the day.
It is sharp and citrus like.
I plan to raise the biobloom this week
Of course i have to be extra carefull when it comes to nutrients because i had that nut burn earlier this month.
Thannks for visiting.
Hello growers.
My tall skinny haze is doing good.
The long stems are filling nicely with budding from top to bottom.
Not a lot of thrichomes on the leaves yet but it is progressing.
Yesterday i was standing next to the buds and a smell hit me.
I have never smelled a bud before that had a smell so identical to a Mango fruit.
Cant wait to taste it in a joint.
The plan now is to raise very carefully the nutes untill is ready for flush.
So that is all, thanks for visiting.
Hello growers.
The plant has entered the maturing stage of flowering.
The buds are still not that big. But i hope this will change in the next couple of weeks.
Every stem has its differenf rythm, because of different heights. After all that lst, the main stem managed get higher than the others. I supose i underestimated the flower strech of photoperiods.
Thanks for visiting.
Hello growers.
The plant is not ready for flush yet.
It is going good.
Really big and fat main stem.
Mango smell all over the grow room.
So, that is all folks.
