Overall this was a great start! One of the seeds didn't pop, but the replacement did so all went well. As a first time grower I'm excited to see the results of working with this brand of nutrients as well as with an LED.

I should have transplanted them a bit sooner and they started to become rootbound. So this week saw a good amount of growth and everyone seems happy.

I moved the young ones from 1 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots and the ppm were down to 100. Nectar for the Gods line requires the soil to be between 300 and 500 ppm to properly take in the nutrients so I was on the verge of a real nutrient deficiency. I'm planning on changing from the 100 watt LED to a 1000 watt HPS. at the beginning of week 5.

I switched to the 1000 watt HPS from the 100 watt LED and the plants really responded to it. The Bloom Khaos that I tried this week really sent the plants into overdrive for calcium and I didn't realize that it would be so pronounced and I didn't add more Herculean Harvest(I should have at least doubled it) so they started to cannabalize. I stopped using the Bloom Khaos until my PPMs get back up. The 1000 watts brings much more heat, and I had to dim it to 70% and it was still too hot to close the tent. Looking for solutions to ventilate better.

The temperatures are up even though I have added multiple fans. My solution now is to keep the tent open during the day but they are still stressed and growth has slowed. The heat combined with the nutrient deficiencies that are starting are a real setback for sure, but I will work through it. They are unhappy but still going, if only at a snail's pace. I flushed with Herculean Harvest and then the next watering I used just Gaia Mania.

I did everything I could to try and get colder air through the light hood but the temperatures were very high for late December and the plants were just suffering too much so I had to go back to LEDs. I am going to double up to two 100 watt Optic 1 XL LEDs and hope for the best. Doubling up on the Herculean Harvest brought the PPMs back up to about 400 so I will resume the Bloom Khaos next week. Growth has resumed to a normal pace and everyone looks healthy and happy.

Things look good, the light green growth has stopped and it's now going back to normal. I added Recharge this week too. Hoping I can flip to flower in about a week.

We have entered flower! The deficiencies are pretty much in the rear view mirror and I hope they stay there. I added Triton's Trawl and that should help increase yield and maximize color production. I also added the FAR Red Bloom Enhancer from Optic LED and that should also increase yield.

If I didn't have the pictures from each week, I'd have a hard time believing they are growing so fast! Pistils have formed on almost all the plants, with Gelat.OG being the furthest along.

I did another round of defoliation, and removed the trellis because I don't think I'll need it. Time will tell. I have noticed some variegation on a few plants but nothing I'm worried about.

Another week, another round of defoliation. I reintroduced Bloom Khaos(and upped the Herculean Harvest) and they took it very well. I snipped some of the smaller branches to help with bigger buds on the main stems.

Very good week for sure. More defoliation, some variegation(or a banana, you decide) and two plants that don't look like they will yield as much as other ones(Enemy of the State is small compared to Gelat.OG). Gonna start my auto grow soon, already popping the seed.

One week closer to harvest! They had a great week, and are starting to look really good, well except for that one Enemy of the State plant that seems to not want to really put buds on. We'll see...

I love the smell, not a pungent cheese smell, but a light, almost nutty smell to it. It breaks down really nice and has great bag appeal.

These ladies were very cooperative and while I encountered a few issues, most of them were learning curve related. I'd definitely grow any of these strains again, with Gelat.OG being my favorite of the three. I couldn't change it at the end on the diary, but for flower I upped it to 200 watts LED light.

Smokes fine, grows kinda meh. I found myself wanting to be done with this one, and will probably just pop the last seed to get done with it. I'd be curious to see if others had the same issues.

Same as before. Lovely to grow, even though I was worried because the pistils had blunt tips and looked weird throughout the grow. I didn't have any other complaints, but this was my least favorite strain of the three.

Trimming was a bit of a pain, because there were a lot of little nooks and stuff to get into. But beyond that, I can't complain at all, other than I wish I would have grown more of them the first time around.

Not too bad for your first go. You need to increase your humidity to at least 50% for the plants leaves to properly photosynthesize light and water into food. Also ensure that you are adding Cal Mag to assist with nutrient uptake. Keep at her man.
maverik713
maverik713commented5 years ago
@Dr_Green_Thumb_420, thanks! Nectar for the Gods is a calcium based line, so adding Cal Mag isn't necessary. And yeah, the humidity being so low was part of why I went back to an LED. I'm currently sitting at 54% RH and 74.5 degrees. I think another two weeks of veg and they might be ready to flip.
