This seed just did NOT want to pop. It took 5 days, and when it did pop it’s almost like the starter leaves were already forming and it barely had a tail. Planted it anyway because I have another seed germinating as backup in case this one shits out. If this one grows, I’m just going to run the backup in a solo cup
Anyway:
Canna Coco w 30% Perlite
2 X 4 Tent
Vivosun 600watt LED
3 Gallon Felt Pots
GHE Nutes
Nutes this week were diluted in TWO gallons of water. Not one. Will up it slowly as I go.
Day 2: Still nothing above the soil. The two backups still haven’t popped either Guess I’ll be testing ILGM’s 100% germ guarantee. Later that night she finally popped above the soil but it’s all white still.
Day 3: She’s looking more normal now. She’s turned green and has two little tiny serrated leaves. Started germ on same day as my other ILGM seed and I’d say this one is a good 5 days behind.
Day 4: Got a humidifier in the tent.
Day 5: My Diamond Nectar finally came in, I was supposed to be using it when I first planted. Going to be adding it to the nutes. Gotta have humic acids 🙌🏻
Day 6. Everything going as planned.
Day 7: Not much going on. Hopefully she’ll pick up some next week.
Week one in the books. This one is growing a bit slower than my ILGM Bubble Gum but I’m confident she’ll take off soon Just doesn’t seem to like the nutes as much yet.
Day 9: Not much growth over the past 24 hours. This one is pretty slow. May end up not topping this one if it stays this slow. I don’t know if she’ll recover like I need.
Day 10. Looking good. Probably water tomorrow.
Day 12. Too lazy to take the small plants out of the tent today. Got some water today. Nothing exciting.
First day of week 7 for this one. Ended up super cropping one of the other stems too and she’s still doing great. Starting to put on a bit of frost. It’s been a lot of fun watching this one grow 😁Did some more light defoliation. I think I’m going to leave her alone from here on out.
Day one of week 9. This one has been an absolute blast to grow. She’s starting to get pretty frosty. Not a lot of weight to the buds yet but she should start packing on soon. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out. Definitely have a few weeks left Upped the nutes one more time this week to see if I can fatten her up. See you in a week or two! 😁😁😁
