12/28 … Code accepted...
The ladies begin a journey, one FFT5 into a nice heated dark bath.
Here we go little Indica
12/31 Next step in the journey, gonna try our hands at rock wool.
3/4 inch tail into a split one inch cube good vibes so far
1/3 Alright, Ladies and Gems! We have lift off! Tucked her in nice with the coco. Let's see where this spacey chick takes us!
Nice couple of feedings with Big Bloom and Kangaroots but thats a one time thing for now.
1/4 All the minutia … (borrowed from hubby)
Stretching seems to have slowed a good bit. (stopped actually)
The garden bags are working well and the solo cups make a perfect holder since they are weighted with stones.
Transplant will be super easy.
Feeding protocol till transplant - One ounce (or until runoff) twice a day at a 125 PPM strength of Coco Tek Grow at @5.9 PH
Looking for a week until transplant or so plans go.
1/6 New pic
Making buffered Coco for grow - will be 5 gallon at 25% perlite
1/9 She is REALLY growing fast now
Feedings are at 150ppm @5.9ishPH twice a day
Looking forward to transplant day for her
Wondering what she is exactly
1/10 Getting ready for the deep freeze that's moving in for prob the rest of winter so taking stock of her environment.
Its really nice in there 😉
1/11 New Pics
11/15 A day early but need to sync up with the other grow
WOW
I mean seriously these guys are just huge!
Good work Fastbuds
They could take more feeding but then they would get TOO BIG!
So looking forward to this
1/17 Moving day!
Into her new quarters on Moya!
( fully prepared and buffered 75% Coco in the veg tent)
Kangaroots for her lower end CocoTek for the upper! She will get two feedings of this then back to straight CocoTek and higher levels of that 😁
1/20 Chinana gets a haircut!
Topped her at fifth node
1/22 And another week in the books.
Included some CalMag more for just in case than anything.
May leave topping at once as side nodes coming up quickly and don't want them passing the center.
1/29 Pics to end week Growing well raised lights to promote some stretch
1/29 Week 5
She is just doing so well!
Cant wait to see what she does in flower.
Dropping CocoTek to 5ml and increasing run off as some white tips are showing
1/30 She now at 14 inches
2/1 Chiana now at 15 inches
Major defoliation last night at lights out.
Removed perhaps 25-40% or leaf mass on her to allow them to stay in the tent another two weeks.
It was time to learn the process anyway, took a compromise path to doing it, some recommended taking more some less.
2/5 Week 6
Did some defoliation to keep things clean
She just doing so well sex is showing
Leave nuets as is
She has been chosen to go into the big tent first and flipped three days before the rest of her cousins.
Be a few days
2/7 Into Flowering tent flipped to 12-12 nuets adjusted slightly
2/9 New pics
2/12 Week 7 and its Flowering Time!!!!
She is up to 29" and on full Bloom nuets low end of TDS range.
Color is incredible, cant wait to get some lights off pictures of this sweet girl.
Keeping her top canopy clear so we get lots of bud sites down the road!
Not a lot of smell yet very weak hard to peg.
Really liking this strain so far!
2/13 Light changed to MH in attempt to limit stretching.
Hung a small 2700K 30 watt LED directly over Chiana out of the path of the main light to give her just a bit more red spectrum. Not much but something.
2/14
Rearranged the tent to give better access to the photos and allow better hanging of the small LED and give a bit more light from the MH.
Runoff tested on all plants and ranged from 550-600 ppm which just leaves us all kinds of room later for more nuets.
Heck this is perfect
2/19 Week 8
She is topping 35 inches despite all we could do to control the Flowering growth.
Hate to think how tall she would be if we had not.
So down the line most likely some bend and secure on the high buds in her near future.
Nuets up a little some PK in the mix seems to be really spurring bud growth.
She really does seem to like her accommodations.
2/21 Clean up day!
Defoliated bottom of plant as finally we are no longer as concerned with stretch.
Can really see her structure now, in particular compared to the FF7 beside her.
Continuing to increase the nuets slightly
2/22
New tent setup!
More light more room!... well for now
2/26 Week 9 /3 flower
Update:
After a meeting of the minds we have decided to give Chiana her own feed schedule as the FF7 just need other than the FF5.
Dropping PK temporarily to 1ml/gal due to slightly too dark green leaves but upping CocoTek to 7 ml give her plenty of good stuff to work on.
2/28
HPS back online
Height set slightly on the high side for both lights to better disperse the light pattern.
Nuets continue to be the focus looking for her sweet spot. Leaves on this strain run dark green anyway so putting PK up slightly and monitoring.
IN PPM 800 OUT PPM 900
Seems all is well
Buds n' smells
Buds are going to be very white with a majority fuel/chem smell- kind of like some Skunk1 strains just a wild guess
2/29
Pics
Buds beginning to cone building nicely
Increasing PK slightly for 800ppm
runoff at 25% for one time mini-flush
3/4 Day 16 Flower
Changing PK to KoolBloom as the Peak has run out.
Will work up the CT nuets to @10ml/gal or so as the burnt tips have proven kind of a red herring.
Loving the dual light sources, makes things so much easier.
3/5 Day 17
Nuets to 925ppm unadjusted added Fish Sh!T and the terps just explode 😄
Last defoliation of loofy branches
New pics
3/6 Day 18
Pics last of the week most likely
Nice little present the girls gave me in the pics 😍
Little touch up today, last of the grow
Nuets as is for the week
She is doing well see what the next weeks bring
3/9 Day 21 Flower - Halfway home
New Video and nuets
3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower
Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is.
Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them.
Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather.
Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it.
That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later!
Good growing out there!
3/12 Vid and Pics of her
We fouled up and miscalculated days in flower today should be 29 as she obviously into flower on 2/12. Hubby just looked at the calendar wrong 😏
Fix what I can sorry folks thought it looked further along than that.
pics
3/18 Week 12 Day 34/Flower
Have a Norto virus in the house so being brief
All looks good no changes at this time waiting on buds to say when
3/19 Day 35/F
Lot happened overnight, looking like end of week for flush.
Will continue PK for one more day as time for the last push here now as upped nuets about 200ppm.
PK ends Friday, nuets will drop back 200ppm at the same time.
Flush begins 3/24 Tuesday... 08:05 PDT ... 😏
3/21 Day 37/F
Pics
Some foxtailing began today but heat is ok so no worries, its all bud.
Stopped the PK booster and reduced nuets to get ready for flush next week.
She will go over a few days (46 -42=4) but its all good.
3/22 D38/F
Pics
Tricones all milky white and full
Flush Tuesday Last feed Monday at half strength
3/23 D39/F
Last feeding at half strength but tossed in a dose of Recharge just to see if it matters. doubt it would but it needed using as it hitting its effective date.
Flush begins tomorrow morning
3/24 D40/F
Flushed using 10 gallons PHed tap water and 5ml/gal flushing agent.
Pic and vid
3/26 D42/Flower
Today is the Fast Buds estimate of finishing time.
Yeah she looks ready depending on the grower, I think it would love a few more days but what strain doesn't?
Tomorrow is defoliation day, the last one. Everything with a stem is coming off.
Flush continues at day 3 with water only for 4 more days
pics 😊
3/30 D46/F
Was looking at harvest tomorrow but we have made other plans.
Looking at the tricones we are letting them go longer so will continue with water only for a while.
Still no amber trics showing and the fade is dam near invisible so no reason to stop now.
She can just go more and no reason not to.
3/31 D47/F
Pics
Letting her go on a few days
4/1 D48/F
Pic
After looking at her close tonight, she is done. Wont help her going any further.
She is potent and healthy, don't tempt fate 😍
4/2 No water harvest in the morning just pics
Do not let this strain get stretched as it will get fragile, the buds are VERY heavy and the branches have trouble.
Si or Kracken to help
Flower under blue-ish or white light helps limit the growth.
Switch to HPS or Bloom lights after that has stopped.
Will foxtail easily at 85F even for a limited time (couple of hours a day)
Very easy trim as we defoliate
Low odor not a stinker
No real problems with the grow that was not induced by our lack of tent space and flowering under HPS
Flowering lights totaled 750 watts 600 HID 150 LED
*** Update
Drying nicely may be able to pull a branch and try out tomorrow , depends on how he is doing.
Dryed fast, lots of air flow and dehumidifiers. With everything going on we want this stuff in the jar soon at possible.
Over dried but not worried over that right now. Very happy with the yield. Decarbing now testing this afternoon.
In our best Oliver Twist voices we ask "Please @Fast_Buds sell these seeds"
Updated Dry Weight after final cleaning
Also cleaned the harvest diary a bit heh
BTW she is recovering and its not that thing.
