The extreme heat in the water is really slowing down the whole grow process :(
At least I will get new ac's in 2 weeks so I can turn this around before it's too late...
@TheUsualSuspect,most breeders give the soil pH, but cation exchange is slightly different in solution, and a slightly lower pH is recommended.. if you notice lock out begining, lower your pH to 5.8
@DWCHC, will try to follow your regiment on this diary as much as I can/dare. Let's see how it works out...
These are just starting their 3rd week of veg, so next week I raise it to 450, then next 600 and so on. Will be close enough to what you advice.
This particular strain prefers a ph of 6.2 in veg, and 6.5-6.7 in flowering (according to the breeder). Normally I'm used to strains that thrives in 5.8 so it's new for me to keep it this high. Any opinions?
@TheUsualSuspect,. In soil I'd be more cautious, the good part about hydro,is a bit of fresh water can reset things so to speak.. seedlings I wait till he second true leaves to begin feeding, at around the 300 ppm mark. Clones I wait till they throw roots into the solution then up to 300 ppm.. at week 2 of 300 ppm I bring it up to 600. Two weeks later up to 800.. holding there till the switch to flower, when a complete water change is done prior to switching to 12hr.. fresh flower nutes are balanced to 900 for 2 weeks then up to 1100-1200 for the duration until flush time.. pH I keep at 6 for veg and babies, 5.5-5.8 for flowering.. so far so good.. I do calmag when the leaves begin to show signs... Cheers! Keep it Green!
@DutchPassion_Official,
Well, I only spoke the truth. And thank you for producing this great strain, I havent tried your other strains yet but looking forward to it. All in due time ππ
it seems you have too much heat and low humidity level ...
maybe you need a better extraction system and air inflow
I 'd rather turn some lights off before you get your new AC
and keep water in big recipients to raise humidity level
try to keep max 24ΒΊC solution and air temperature ;)
btw plans look very nice and strong ... just roots are a bit overheated so keep going :)
@nexuscrypto, , π thanks mate. I followed your advice about the lights and dimmed them down to 50% and they immediately responded with vigour and health.
Well, that and the advice I got from @DWCHC regarding my feeding schedule has knocked me out of a folder I've been stuck in for way too long now (the "less-is-more" folder, which is a very good and safe folder to be in if you never want to elevate your skill).
But I m free at last... thank you both π
