First 3 days after sprouting I used a plastic bottle (cut off the bottom part) to keep the humidity up! After 3 days I removed it.
Currently not using any nutritions. The soil I use is the light mix from BioBizz.
Using ph-ed water between 6.5-6.2, I use the juice of a citrus to lower the PH of my tap water. The tap water is filtert!
I was planning on starting with nutritions (Bio Grow) but the pot is still to wet. Since it's an auto and needs less nutritions there is no stress 😄
Compairing day 11 with day 12.. it's just insane
Day 12 - I can already see the 3th note growing 👌
Doing some LST on my White Widow Automatic to the point where there are enough sidebranches.
As you can clearly see, LST WORKS!! 💪
BUT you have to be really cairefull with your ropes and rubbers. Dont be like me.. I was in a rush and broke of a leaf 😢.
Also this week was the first week of feeding Bio Grow
Since the plant took the first nutrients real good, I gave her 3 ml/l this time.
Keep on going with the LST. The plant is very short at this point. So I will just widen her up but not pulling her down anymore.
Starting with the Bio Bloom.
I still do LST by hand and move the fan leaves to maximize the light for the buds!
The weather in Europe has been shitty.. the night temps sometimes hit 15-16 C.. luckily she's a champ and takes those colder nights!
Besides the bio Grow & Bloom, I use a free nutrient: banana peel water mix.
--> you just fill a large bottle up with banana peels and a bit of green fanleaves you took of during defoliation (fresh!). Than you fill this bottle up with water with a normal PH around 7. After around 2 weeks the water becomes yellow/brown, the nutrient is ready to use. This mix contains a boost of potassium for your girls, really helpfull for the flower phase.
Use a cup for every 1L you water.
Using the same nuts as the previouse weeks, watering every 2 days more or less. Nugs are forming nicely.
I assume another 2-3 weeks. Will check the trichomes next week.
The plant is close to harvest. Thinking about doing it this sunday. Trichomes are turning milky, some of the top buds are turning amber.
Did major defoliation on Day 75, just to check the effects on the last days if it would make the buds thicker.
I still see some clear trichomes.. I have the impression that the buds aren't putting on more weight. Going for the chop next.
Either way going to upgrade my lamp next grow. Thinking of going for a 3+ serie redspec from budgetgrowlights. Also the colder temps were problematic. Still have some quality buds, not as dense as I wished but thats life..
I must say that the nugs are nog that dense and fat. Can't really expect those magazine nugs when temps are low AF..
Currently drying, will update when fully dried and tested!
@Chilipadi, yes just leave the peels in the water for 2 weeks. After than you can put the water in another bottle and start the progress over and over. Dont use to much if you already use other nuts. 1 cup for every 1L works fine. The fanleaves aren't a must, this is just extra nitrogen for the mix. But if you do defoliate why not use it ;)
