Second auto grow in this tent. First try at this strain. The Mars hydro light puts out a true 115W. One plant (plant 2) has a leaf mutation.
Soil is Nature's Care by Miracle Gro. I bought a few bags of it and the first two bags had gnats in the soil. The sticky paper took care of them on the last grow but I will keep an eye out for them in this grow.
Pretty average growth, the leaves are a little funky. I am trying to keep the soil from drying out to a crisp. Plant 1 is taller, Plant 2 is shorter with leaves a little further along.
Slow growth this week. I was away this week for work and my wife watered for me from a spray bottle. About 30 sprays or so. Maybe not quite enough. Day 20 dropped the light to 21.
I gave the soil a good watering with higher than normal nutrients
Root booster 2 ml/l, bud juice 5ml/l, calmag 2ml/l. Ec was 1.5 with soil that has slow release nutrients. Next watering is going to be just pH water. Then back to the scheduled program
Growing well this week with day to day monitoring. I've decided to do as much LST as Plant 2 will take. And letting Plant 1 do it's thing, with some minor help getting light down lower in the branches. Ppm is 490 without calmag
Should I wait for deficiencies to introduce more nutrients? I haven't given these plants any of the A.N. veg nutrients that I have for them. We are at week four today. Maybe there are deficiencies that someone could point out to me from my photos?
Hey there. Checked out the photos and the video and I don't see any problem at all👍. Does not appear you've hit a deficiency or toxicity and the girls are very healthy with a great green hue to them. Only suggestion is if you have more Veg nutrients to apply, I'd only warn to start low and go slow if you don't know how the girls will react. I hear of people waiting for a deficiency before feeding, but this seems counter-intuitive to me. I don't like starting my feeds on a deficiency. Whatever your manufacture's recommended feed chart says, I would personally start at a 1/4 to 1/2 dose just to test the waters... Monitor your pH and RO numbers to make sure things aren't going sideways with the new nutes, and you should be good to go👍👍.

The week started off with a snap. Plant two was tied down and I dropped my phone on it and snapped the top half of the stalk. Plant 1 has been growing slowly but surely. I was away again this week so they were fed once at the beginning of the week and then just watered Brita filter water once more during the week. Came home to the bottom two sets of leaves on both plants with spots on the leaves. I just started adding veg nutes this week at 1/4 dose. Looks like flowering has started
Away from work again. Slow growing without the constant care I usually provide. Minor defoliation good from plant 1. Plant 2 got some bud sites stripped. And the lower leaves cleaned up as well. I had to pre mix the water/ nutrients before I left so the solution may have not been mixed well
Away 9 days. Showed some deficiency mostly on plant 2. Light defoliation on plant 1. More aggressive defoliation of affected leaves and some bud site stripping on Plant 2. Cleaned up the bottom branches of plant 2. Started bloom nutes day 45 half dose
Gone again for work, more issues. The plants are being watered with filtered water but not fed or ph'd. And probably not enough water either. Fed and watered day 57. Started adding some iron zinc manganese solution to try to sort out these issues.
Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water
Coming to the end here for both plants. I've been only watering ph water. Watered until runoff for the last time and just watching the trichomes turn now. 10.5 weeks and they seem to be pretty much done.
Took a 12 day dry (not by choice). Was probably dry at 10 days. Smell and taste are great! Both plants have similar smells and tastes so far. Going for a 3 week cure @62%. I've had good results in the past
Hitting week 7 and we can see the main focus has shifted to beautiful bud production 🤗
