Grow# 11- Original Auto O.G Kush

Here we are for my first grow of 2020 and my 11th grow altogether. I decided to go with a strain I've never tried before along with being given the opportunity to test out several unreleased autoflower strains from one of the best breeders in the world FastBuds. So this grow will feature the West Coast Legend itself ... The Original Auto O.G Kush. FastBuds describes it as the most powerful autoflower strain from Fast Buds Originals! She is easy to grow making her a wise choice for beginner growers and has an extremely loud terpene profile consisting of pine, citrus with an overpowering pungency. A true expression of the world-famous O.G Kush, this auto-flowering hybrid will test up to 23% THC making her a contender for the strongest strain on our Original Line. And it goes from seed to harvest in just 9 weeks. Now before I get started with the germination process down below will be a list of the equipment I'll be using : Hydro Planet 2x4x5 Grow Tent 3-Gallon Plastic Pot Happy Frog Soil Vivosun 300 watt Full Spectrum Grow Light Vivosun 4" inch Exhaust Fan Vivosun Carbon Filter Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier 2 Desk Fans Acurite Hygrometer Now for germination, I went with what I know, so the seed was soaked for a full 48 hours then moved to a paper towel where it was left to grow a taproot at least a cm long. After being in the paper towel for a day and half the O.G Kush seed was ready to be placed in the soil. I misted the soil slightly then placed the seed tap root down in the 2 cm deep. On December 26th this lady popped up above the soil and I began counting days on December 27. I keep it simple and only misted this little lady until Day 5 where she received her first watering, which was 250 ml of pure water. So far everything has been as easy as can be. Another week down and it's been an easy one with the Original Auto O.G Kush. This young lady has just been chilling building up roots to become a strong healthy plant. Still waiting to feed, she'll probably be feed around Day 17 or so she's starting to show signs she's used up the nutrients in the soil. Right now she's working on her fourth node. I did give her a few waterings this week one on day 09 and another on day 11 both waterings were with pure water with a ph of 6.2 Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! Week 3 has come and gone and this little lady is starting to take off. After last week I let her dry out until Day 18 when she received her first feeding.Then she got a plain watering on Day 21. I did measure her this week and she is 3" inches tall. Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! Another beautiful week has come and gone as we end week 4 for the Original Auto O.G Kush. So far this little lady has been really easy to grow, I also love here structure she's short and stacked. Lol. She's showing growth daily and has even grown another 2" inches this week and is even showing her sex now so the stretch should be around the corner. With her taking the first feeding so well I went ahead and went up on the dosage of nutrients when feeding, along with the amount water she's given. On Day 24 we gave her a feeding, she received 500 ml of water which included 3 ml of Cal-Mag, 3 ml of Micro and 6ml of Bloom with a ph of 6.3, I let her dry out for a few days and by Day 27 she was ready for pure watering which had a ph of 6.3 also. The most shocking thing I noticed this week was how fast the FastBuds genetics are, it's truly impressive, so impressive that I'll be starting a new diary tomorrow, sponsored by none other than "FastBuds". Very easy week this week. The O.G Kush has really started to take off and is showing sex and beginning to pre-flower. She's still very compact but the smell she is giving off is so wonderful. On Day 30 she was given a feeding the amount was 500 ml and then on Day 33 she was watered and I added 2 ml of Cal-Mag to the water. Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! Another simple and easy week with the O.G Kush. She is in full flower now stretching and showing future buds sites. Really haven't had to do much with her she's just been doing her thing showing great potential. Another easy week in the books for the lady. She's basically been in the back of the tent doing her own thing. Seen more bud formation this week, also took a height measurement and she was 13" inches tall. She got the basic watering and feeding this week along with some defoliation on the bottom half of the plant to help maintain how bushy she can be, along with removing the leaves that were dying off due to not enough light. Week has been easy. This plant has basically grown itself so far besides a few waterings and feedings. She's currently on the low light side of my tent and she's loved it. Her flowers are really starting to fill out and I'm so loving her structure the defoliation I've been doing has really started to show that it was effective. Another easy week in the books. This plant is really starting to show trichomes along with the buds starting to really fill out. The smell she's giving off is one of the dankest smells that I've smelled in a very very long time, makes me excited that she's starting to finish up. This lady looks sooooo tasty !!! She's been stacking on trichomes and bud weight daily. Just letting her finish up at this point I've actually been debating on if I'm going to let her get another feeding or start my flush and go for flushing her for 14-days instead of 7-days. Close to the end of this plant's life cycle.It's currently only getting water with a ph of 6.0. I'm basically letting her buds gain some more weight before chopping her down along with ensuring a proper flush. Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! Very easy plant to grow. I can't recall it having any problems at all during it's life cycle. Stayed pretty short but had some of the most dense and sticky buds I've ever grown. It only took 88 days from seed to harvest and another 8 days to days to dry. On Day 8 of drying when I opened up the dry tent the aroma was crazy it smelled as if it had been curing for a month already. This is certainly a strain that I'm growing again no questions asked. I would like to say thank you to FastBuds again, you guys really outdid yourself with the genetics for the Original Line.
