Rc#1 has started its flushing today for about a week and half before the snip. Rc#2 has picked up the pace now and will go on longer than rc#1 has. Rest of the tent is coming along nicely. All the plants are on full nutes other than rc#1. Both of the girls have had heavy defoliation. Looking forward to see how it tastes.

RC#1 had its final flush last night of around 12 litres of water. 80% of the trichomes are cloudy. Once the pot is pretty much dried (4days) I'll be throwing her into dark for 36hours before harvest. I'll be sure to get some good pics in the natural light before and after the chop. All branches look like they can barely hold the weight of the buds now, few branches have been supported with cable ties off of the main stem. Sugar leaves are turning a nice purple. I guessing roughly 4-5oz dried.
Week 10 coming this week....
Last week a couple of stems were going soft mid stem and becoming paper thin. Leaves all looked healthy. I think it was maybe a sign of over watering? Seems to be ok now but stunted the plant for about 5 days give or take. Would just like a rough idea to the causes.
Looks like you had or have nutrient lockout. There is signs of overdose in your leaves. Give your poorly girls a nice heavy flush if you haven't already and lay off the nutes for a week. Start adding in small doses. Try adjusting your pH level. Do you check the soil pH too? 👍🌱
Im a little concerned. The plant was dried for 8 days to the point the stems were just about to snap/ crack. Now it's all been harvested into jars the smell isnt filling me with confidence. Should I expect the smell to mature with the next few weeks?
Minimum 30 day cure, then see where you stand. I find cured buds lose some of that strong smell when in the peak of flower.
And if it tastes like it smells, then even better bonus when done.
Like the above growers said it will improve with time as the cure goes on
I've been told to dry trim also to help avoid any hay type smell
Wet trimming apparently gives a hay smell
