2nd grow, 3 strains, 4 plants...

Ok, 36 yr old technophobe here so just gettin to grips with it all, no idea why that photo is so big. Only have 1 accomplished grow, did a sour diesel and easy bud, both auto. Made some mistakes, learned from most of them :) Totally screwed Easy bud up, light burn, nute burn and poor flush, ended up sifting it for kief. Sour diesel was really nice tbf, no idea why they reacted so differently. Now on to the 2nd. No real issues yet, went against my better jusgement and used canna terra bio soil and got gnats instantly. Growing 2x Zkittles, 1x Pineapple glue and 1 Glueberry, here's the gear 1x1x1.8m tent ish150 pro IS RVK 100L Acoustic duct RAM filter 1 x 120mm pc fan intake 1 x oscilating fan Oil filled rad Humidifier Hygrometer 12L fabric pots Canna terra bio canna bio flores/vega/rhizotonic Cal/Mag All been stewing since 15/12 except glueberry auto, that popped on 26/12, had an Alaskan purple that died in the soil so replaced with Glueberry, went straight into final pot after cracking shells, wanted to wait until they'd popped before I started the diary, so now they have let the waiting game begin....

Just the usual growth, waiting for the time to fim/top, just taking water/nute every 2 days, don't like to over water, less is more yada yada yada. Temps are solid, enviroment is pretty easy to maintain, fill the humidifier up evry 24 hrs, heaters on constant at a very low setting.

Diaries pretty much starting in the present from this week. Started Lst on PG and Zkit 1&2, want to keep them low and controlled as possible. Barely touched lst last time, had the first grower fear so I'm on to it already this time, next good few grows will all be learning curves I'm sure and throw up new challenges each time. FIMmed (I think) the 3 I mentioned, see how they grow out. Gonna drop the cal mag, apparently too much cal might lock out the mag. Ordered some plant magic organic mag. Wanted to grow Zkittles for a while so really lookin forward to that strain. All 3 have that lovely ganja smell already, gonna need to put the filter on 24/7 soon. Always open to advice/insulting comments 😉 . Totally fell in love with growing, most time and money I've ever spent on a hobby 😂

Forgot I was in week 4. So, plenty of Lst, moving leaves out the way and tying them down and together, looks like plenty of pre-flower and a fair few bud sights already. Gave P glue and zkitt their first decent water last night with 1 scoop of plant magic organic magnesium to 10 ltr of water, Led pulls the mag right out. Other than that just watching them grow, let them get on with it, read a lot about autos suffering with lack of N when in flower as usually you can get autos to flower in soil with out any deficiencies and no veg nute So I'll be adding 1-2 ml per litre of veg nutes with each feed next time, should be a cple days when the pots have mostly dried out. Wk 4 UPDATE. Snapped the damn top off my pineapple, biggest plant aswell, could kick myself. Just got too rough I guess. Put a sewing needle down as a splint and glued and gaffa taped it but I know the tops done for. No harm in trying, see how the plant itself fares over the next cple days Nrly in to week 5 so little end of week update. P glue that I snapped seems to be coping well. Added 2 dual spec cfl, a 125w and 300w and took the heater out. Will re pot 2 of the small plants in to 12 ltr pots, stress test this setup for capacity/yield

On to week 5, nrly 5 1/2 wks old, added 2 cfl bulbs and took heater out now. Think they're classed as being in flower. Tuck and tie all leaves possible, cut the odd few that block light access. Hadn't realised I'd need to clean the cloth for the filter between grows so it wasn't pulling the air out properly, sorted now, nice blast outbound. So just waiting for the day these little bud sites start packing on weight.

So where we at? No major issues yet, treated the soil with Hypoaspis miles against gnats, see a few flying around but not many, plant's seem healthy enough. Just watching them grow really, I can see the bud development from day to day now, smells nice and defol hasn't seemed to stall them. Started adding a little bloom nute with veg, see how they take to that. Been drinking pretty quickly, first time I put enough water in to get a little trickle out the bottom today. Been quite a hassle free grow so far. I'll need to add a bit more org mag in a week or 2. Seem to have done ok with the LED height so far.
