Need to buy humidifier, below range of 65-70% although humidity is high in dark period and spraying with PH balanced water. Watering in small circle whilst seedling. Not adding nutrients for first 2 weeks of veg because Auto’s are more sensitive to nutes. Just over temp target range of 20-25C

Achieved target humidity range 55-60% and temp range 22-28C. Have noticed that the leaves were a bit droopy at the beginning of week due to overwatering; i saturated the whole 8 gal pot ahead of being away. Was away for 1/2 week, during this time humidity dropped a bit due to less saturated soil over time. Too much water can stunt growth so started a regular watering pattern.

Kept temperature within range 22-28C and humidity range of 50-55% although on the upper end due to younger plants in the tent. Started LST to allow more light to lower nodes. Haven’t added any nutrients for veg stage because distracted with germination issues on other plants. Will compare the effects of growth nutes with the newer plants at their Week 4. Keep an eye out on the Purple Bud/Sensi Skunk Auto diaries

LST looking good, have spiralled the stem around to get more light through to the lower parts. Added nutrients in small dose. I think i overwatered again this week although a more regular watering schedule. Next week take the more ‘less is more approach’. Temp target range 20-26C, all good there. Humidity range 40-50%. Achieving that during the day but during dark period...cold and wet winter weather with extractor on is pulling in 68% humidity which is too high for flowering stage. Need to think strategies to lower humidity!

Experimented with keeping humidity down during dark phase as too high. Need extractor on for smell/airflow, but noticed it continues to suck in outside humid air. (Non-electric) Dehumidifier is in place from previous week which helps but still needs something else to drop the humidity. When lights go on the humidity drops dramatically. Consider a heater. Kept lights on for 24hrs at back 1/2 of week until appropriate solution in place. All other day time parameters are ok. Can see the effect if overwatering from the previous weeks, have maintained a regular pattern but with less volume each time.

1/2 half of week at 24 hrs. Added heater to decrease humidity during off period and changed back to 18/6. Defoliated to allow light to lower section of plant, was careful to avoid new bud sites and taken large leaves only and kept a few at top to maintain canopy. LST to spread plant equally at the end of the week. Defoliation ha encouraged good growth and flowering has really progressed, happy! :)

Temp within 20-26C range. Humidity between 40-50% range. Stems are bulking out. EC solution looks good sitting at about 1 within range of 0.8 - 1.2. Continuing 2L every 2 days. On cold days have reduced 2 intakes to 1 next to the heater to ensure dark period is warm enough to keep humidity down, achieving approx 18C at 52% humidity which is ok👍

The smell ! Sweet orangey diesel, cant wait for harvest :) the pistils are going slightly amber in places. Buds could do with fattening out a bit to close up the gaps of light in between. Perhaps a couple of weeks left. I read up that it went dark purple due to natural anti-freeze when cold; this fits when looking at the cold start this plant had in January with no heater. But i also read purple and black trichromes can be the result of phosphorous deficiency; the plant did have a tough start with curling leaves (over watering) and leaves turning blueish green, this is early signs of phosphorous deficiency. Temp range 20-26C. Top end of temp range this week because closed 1 of 2 intake vents due to cold dark period and wanted the air to be drawn through the heater. Humidity range 40-50%. Maintained low humidity during light period and between 52-57% during dark due to cold and wet weather typically at 69%, heater seems to be doing the trick. Introduced cal-mag later in the week due to other plants suffering a bit with deficiencies. Intro of Cal-Mag has increased EC to 1.5 which is above range of 0.8-1.0, consider reducing this within the range, also consider flushing soon because getting close to harvest!

Bulking out nicely, smells like a dream with that orange diesel smell. Think i’ll give that its nickname ;) Temp range 20-26C. Kept within until moved tent to more confined area and has increased to 31C at times! finding ways of keeping it down! Although great for dark period as humidity is less and can take away heater. Reduced the nutrients to around EC 1.0 ready for flush next week. Pistils still growing, not done yet 😊 defoliated a bit at end of week to maximise bud production.

Trichrome's looking nice and cloudy under a jewels loupe, getting closer to harvest! 50/50 clear/amber pistils, waiting for 70-90% amber for a relaxing bud. Need to keep day temp below 24C now (18-24). Range between day and night is 10C which is good at this stage. Started to flush with PH’d water at EC 0.5. Needs to be 0-0.3 but cant change the tap water! Humidity 28% during day, 49% at night, not bad. Plants continue to fatten out 😊

90% amber pistils and 100% cloudy trichromes... set to be a relaxing effect when smoked :) just waiting for those amber trichromes to come out! At end of week 2 of flush, leaves starting to go yellow as expected. Will continue the grow but will harvest before the sugar leaves go completely yellow. Buds taking a nice red colour. Temp a little too high this week, need to keep 24-26C max to avoid buds getting heat damaged, dont want to reduce potency! Found a leak in the extractor, tried to seal it off to see if it drops the temp. 1 more week to go i think!

Final week of flowering followed by a well deserved harvest! 95% amber pistils and milky tri’s about 15% of which are amber for that relaxed buzz 😎 I went for the semi-dry trim option, leaving some sugar leaves on because the buds are quite airy; i don’t want it to dry too quick in order lock in some of that yummy resin to later cure this baby properly. Leaves had yellowed as expected but not completely and temps were a bit too high but i improved airflow, increased lamp height and changed light schedule to be off during the warmest outdoor temp. Will update the harvest report once its dried! Peace

A smooth smoke with calming CBD effects, good for a wind down after a hard day. Has been an interesting journey and my first ever grow. I had this growing with two other indica’s. This one was much shorter height and certainly had the ruderalis look about it but did bulk a bit with LST. A few rookie problems at the beginning such as over watering and no nutrients during some of the early stage. Also has freezing temps at some point whilst i was away. So in the grand scheme of things, im happy with the yield and colour! Buds are a bit airy with larger sugar leaves, but i plan to convert those leaves to cannabutter. Have also opted for the semi dry trim, to slow down what could be a quick dry due to airy buds. Overall quite satisfied.

Hey guys! Advice says prune and jar when the branches snap but not completely break. Roger that, but when the smaller branches snap, do i also prune and jar the buds coming from the main stem? Or do i need to wait until the stem does the same? ✌️

I normally jar my popcorn buds first, after drying in a box, for 3-4 days. Be careful about those thin (not main) branches, as my Gorilla Glue's branches bent easily after only one day of drying. They were semi hollow, when growing. I then jar the bigger ones a day later or so. To put in perspective, after jarring the rest of my buds, and leaving a hydrometer in one of the jars, the humidity was in the high 60s. Perfect for getting down to that magical mark of 60% within a few days of burping. Your plant size(s) and drying process will dictate how many days of drying.
