Main stock split for no apparent reason?? anyone had this happen with minimal to no stress on the side branches?? Wondering if I topped too low or should have tried to leave more stem from the last node. Growing hard and she just splits, I have seen this bending branches...😀👍🙏
Yes you topped too low. Always leave a nub so when the knuckles grow later on she doesn't split . So not worry though . Tape her up and in a week she'll weld herself back together . Splitting it like this this can actually make the plant become stronger in the long run .
Sorry to hear about your thrip problem. Really frustrating.
Please look up Beauvaria bassiana. This microbe is working great for me against thrip and spider mites. I also switch to Metarhizium every so often too.
