Hi guys. The girls have settled into producing bigger buds this week and have no signs of issues. I think two of them may have at least 2 or 3 weeks left and the big plant may have 2. This is the time I struggle with the most using autos. The breeder states a harvest time but this is under ideal environmental conditions and I am not clear if I have provided the perfect environment. I am going to let them go until hairs turn 80-90% orange. Overall they are looking frosty and feel very dense.
This is the part were being patient is very important and imo the most difficult part of any grow. I just want to cut one bud off and smoke it 🤪 but I won’t.
I have uploaded a picture of the new seeds for my next grow. Moving to photoperiods next grow woohoo.
If anyone had any suggestions please comment and let me know 🧐
Cheers guys

Dialing everything in is quite difficult and a small droop in the leaves was actually down to lights being too close. I assumed overwatering but it was just a case of taking the light up a few inches.
I'm so glad that I've found your diary so I can compare. Amazing job man. Can't wait for mine to finish. Also got the same issue with magnesium deficiency, but besides that, these girls are thriving. Barney's farm, Dinafem, Dutch Passion, Sweet Seeds are great breeders if you are still looking forward to make a photoperiod run. I will definitely keep my eyes on you.
@ChrisPBacon,I’ve gone with royal queen seeds for my next photoperiod run. Chose the USA premium wedding gelato @ 25% THC 🤪. Thanks for the comments Bacon 👍.
This looks very nice! Are these plants really around 20cm high ? I just started with + speed auto myself (among few other strains) and I'm really concerned about the plant height as I'm a bit limited with my grow room height. I'm very happy looking at the progress you're making!
@krok464, I see you are growing 9 in a 3x3? All I can say is these things get bushy and you may struggle with light penetration after week 3. Some defoliation may be needed. I defoliated mine and they keep bushing out. It’s a brilliant hobby tho and every grow will be a great lesson. I’m on my third grow now and have changed my process each time to compare results. I grew a single white widow that ended up with 16 tops and it was perfect for my grow area. Seeing your 9 plants in a few weeks is gonna be insane :).
@krok464,hi krok. No. Two of them are around 50cm and one is about 80cm high. I forgot to update the height.
I have grown one before and it ended up around 60cm.
I have the same issue with height so I always need to keep the plants low and bushy. I would always suggest tying branches down if you are worried about the height but do it before the branches become too stiff. Also never tie stuff down after watering as they get more rigid and can break.
Keep the light close and they shouldn’t reach too high. More blue light during veg will help keep them low.
Super bushy! My Critical and Russian both are growing the same way but I just recently defoliated the Critical since she's now in flower. Good Luck with the rest of your grow also.
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, Cheers Mr Weeds. I am trying to keep the defoliating down on this grow just to see what happens. I want a minimum maintenance grow in future so I’m trying different things. Aeroponics next grow with wedding gelato photoperiods ;).
@Sweet_Seeds,yea incredible. That one plant grew so fast but the other two are still going. The other two need and extra two weeks I think. Nearly there tho 😉
@Sweet_Seeds, Thanks for looking. I have used your seeds for my last two runs and have had great results. I am thinking bloody skunk may be next on my list :)
My plants begin their rest around 2 hours before light out and begin to come back bang on 4 hours later. Lights run 4am to 11pm. They being to rest at 9pm and begin to come back at exactly 1am. It is like clockwork. If anyone is obsessed with watching their plants and wonder if this is normal I can assure you that it is.
