Trimming, LST, and heavy defoliation. I trimmed off all the old, large fan leaves to serve three purposes: 1. to open them up to more light; 2. to make them grow a little slower; 3. because the fan leaves were getting too close to the desk lamp and sometimes being smashed up against the wall.
Basically just biding my time with these until the GSC is done flowering in the tent. Then I'll move these girls in as fully mature but small plants, and as soon as they are exposed to the grow light they will explode vegetatively for 2 or 3 weeks until they will be ready to flick over to flowering and fill out the tent!
Autopilot. I spend about 10 minutes a day watering and caring for them, which equates to around 1.25 hr a week.
You are the 8 ball kush master! They look perfect. I would say let it run late and harvest at the same time. It looks like this round has the potential to get fatter buds.
@Wicked_Stix, thanks! The clones are lookin nice too, over in their own diary now :P Both clones of plant A, I want the phenotype. May follow your method for making seeds toward the end of summer! Can you do the colloidal silver thing with clones?
@Wicked_Stix, I made them without cannabis, and they tasted great! Shared with the kids and they loved them too. But man, the minute you add cannabis, they taste like total shit. I can't even bring myself to eat them as they make me want to barf and then the after taste lingers :/ so I put them in the deep freeze and am saving them for when I don't have anything else.
@Wicked_Stix thanks,it blows my mind that I can grow them under an LED desk lamp that consumes 13 watts (for the equivalent of a 40 watt incandescent output). LOL. I can tell they are ready to explode in growth though as soon as they go into the tent -- it'll be like 2 weeks in the tent and they will be filled out / ready to flower :P
