hi mate when you say run 8 is that the amount of times you have grown out the Blackberry?

Congratulations on your harvest! 1 or 2 liter pots sounds very tiny to me. I think 11 liter is fine for autos; I grew quite some big plant in a 14 liter pot and she definitely was not root bound, so in most cases 11 liter should do fine.
