I'm excited to do this journal. I have fond memories of G13 genetics going back to the 90's. The haze cross should be a nice addition. If all goes well, I may do a breeding experiment in a later journal crossing with my other favorite strain, Royal Gorilla.
Just took these clones yesterday. Should take about two weeks to be ready for transplant.
So, this is actually about day 10 from when these cuttings were taken. I have only given them indirect light, I find that works better. As you can see no nutes aside from Azos beneficial bacteria and only indirect light, there is good root formation and virtually no discoloration of the cuttings. I will harden them off over the next few days then transfer into one gallon pots with my own mix of super soil.
So far so good. The girls are beginning to grow in their new pots. In a week or so I'll transfer them to their flower pots. I am going to try a sea of green with these. I'm excited to see how they do.
Everyone has been transplanted to a bigger pot. I'll veg for a couple weeks and flip to 12/12. I have not done a sea of green before so this should be a learning experience.
I am only using my super soil mix for now. I'll add some supplements during flower.
For anyone interested. I make my soil with:
1 part perlite
2 parts coco
2 parts mushroom compost
Lime
And organic fertilizer mix with both slow and fast release nitrogen along with a good spectrum of trace elements.
Reaching the end of week 8. I am starting the flush today and expect harvest in 2 weeks. I am having to tie up the colas as they are falling under their weight :)
