Week two is here. The second plant to sprout is coming along pretty good. Started using the nutrients I received with the grow box for the vegetation stage. There is no name on the package, so not sure who makes it, but it's a solid that mixes with a gallon of water.

When changing the weekly water, do you refill the basin with regular, then add a 1/4 cup.of water with the grow formula? Or, do you fill it all the way with the grow formula water? It's says to top off with regular water between changes, but nothing about the refill.

Hope this helps, To do this, empty or drain 50% the total volume and replace it with fresh water (example: if your reservoir holds 100 liters, and over a couple weeks your logs show you’ve added 50 liters by topping up the water, it’s time for you to take out 50 liters and add the same amount clean, pH balanced water). Most hydroponic systems need this larger water change as frequently as every two weeks, although smaller reservoirs may need it as often as every week to ten days. You will also need a daily or every couple of days top up of water before a whole reservoir change. 🌱👍

Going into week 6. I just clipped the bad leaves that show in the picture and will be switching to the growing stage. I plan to do the 36 hours of darkness first. Already changed the water and it has the bloom solution instead of the grow solution. What would you do now?

Iv'e heard lots about the 36 hours of darkness and found it does indeed make a difference,. Your bloom solution you wanna using a bit later in flower. think of it as still in hard veg mode for the first 2-3 weeks of flower. Umm other then that... If was new I'd try to research as much as possible, which it seems like you are. So you definitely are on the right track :).. Happy growing I hope she turns out nice and big for you :)

I working on week 8 and the second week of the bloom phase. Looking for any tips that could make sure I'm doing everything that is possible to maximize what I have. This is my first grow, so not sure if what I've shown is expected, or if there are some deficiencies.

@BossHogg6 Hi mate firstly dont be tempted to remove any foliage as it looks like you don't have all that much to spare. Secondly I can see leaf tip burning from a overfeed?? Being your first grow it's best to use the less is more approach when it comes to feeding. Basiccally only use half of what is directed on the nutrient bottles. From now until harvest time (in aprox 6-7 more weeks) It will pay to keep an eye on temp & humidity inside your grow room/tent as high temps and humidity will slow your flowering down and reduce potential yields. Dont be tempted to harvest to early Get yourself a Handheld magnifier loupe and read up on trichome development and optimum maturity. I wish you well on your first harvest and any other questions PM if you like 👍

We're entering week 13 here. Hopefully, I added adequate pictures for feedback. Should I go ahead and start flushing these next two weeks to prepare for harvest? A few pics and a video were uploaded to show what I see under a magnifying glass. Don't want to go to early or late.

It is too soon, it's been flowering for 6 weeks only, if you cut nutes at this stage it will affect its ability to produce buds, which is what this is all about. Give it at least 2 more weeks before you cut the feedings.

You must have switched to "Flower" Light cycle much sooner.. For Clarity and too make it easier to read. You should always switch to "flower" Diary once you change the lights over, not when you see sign of flower. Because from the looks of things you are 2-3 weeks in flower. Looks like it coming along okay, might need a better light in the future... But happy growing and I hope you get a nice harvest :).

@@Darkwarsongs, yes, it grew real quick. If you look at prior weeks, you'll see the jump. I've taken pics on the same day each week. These were one day earlier than normal

@@Darkwarsongs, Thanks for the feedback on this first grow. For clarification, the plant went into the 36 dark cycle on 2/19-2/20 and which switched to 12-12 right after. These pictures are from 2/24. Was that not the correct way to provide the update for the diary?
