Hi fellow growers :) I'd like to introduce myself to the community with this small grow of mine ;)
Some info
I spent few weeks setting up my grow room. I can't grow inside my house, at least not in the living area, so I moved and built my grow room in the attic.
The main problem with this location is that it is very sensitive to temperature changes outside, so I tried my best and isolated it in a best possible way I could think of. Second problem is height. Space is limited to 1.3 meters so I will definetely go for LST at some point, hoping the plants won't get too high.
It is 2nd day that first seed have germinated, now 5 of 9 seeds have sprouted, waiting for other 4 to do the same.
I mentioned the chalanges I'm facing with the room. To create as stable and friendly environment possible, I have equipped my room with:
- 2 x 35W heat mats (each 30 x 60 cm),
- 2 x 80W greenhouse heaters, which I plugged into a adjustable termostate switch,
- 1 x airontek circulation fan,
- 1 x axial fan with carbon filter,
- 1 x air humidifier plugged to Rh switch, so it is turning on once relative humidity drops below certain value,
- 1 x BestvaLED dual-chip series, 1000W lamp (actual power is around 220W) with a Veg/ Bloom switch - currently on Veg
This way grow room keeps around 21-24 degrees C and Rh around 45%.
Week 1 ( 14 Jan 2020 - 21 Jan 2020)
Week one started just after a first seed germinated. So far so good, struggling a little with conditions inside my grow room but nothing serious.

2nd week started just fine. All plants look very healthy and seem to grow in the right pace :) I'm about to increase nutrients doses a little as per GHE schedules.
I will start with a LST a little, just to keep those beauties small.
I bought new air humidifier with built-in higrostat and larger capacity (circa 5L). I'm hoping I will not need to fill it up every day.
For very same reason, I also bought a pump watering system which I'm planning to set up today. Connected to a timer, it should give my plants about 0.25 to 0.3 L of the solution every 24 hours.
This is very important to me because of the weekends when I'm not always able to spend time in my grow room :/

I increased temperature to 25-26 C, relative humidity to 55-60% and started with some home grown methods for producing CO2 + some CO2 bags etc. Plants are growing enourmously fast, especially white widow :) one plant grew 3 leaves, is it normal ? :D or should I throw this one away ? I'll add photos in the morning,

I've bound the plants, bending them away from the light, I hope this will affect their height at the end as I need to keep those plants small :) All my worries about root rot, overwatering etc. are bygone - nothing bad happened, exactly as you guys were stating in the comments. Thanks!

Today my plants got overwatered :( All because of a wrong config of my timer which manages the watering pump :( These poor babies received approx. 0.5 - 0.7 L of the solution over last 24 hrs :(
My question is whether this poses a threat of root rot or mold ?

You possibly facing two issues
Over watering and over feeding .
And they could cause slow growth.
You need to act quickly.
1-Try to lift the soil around the seedlings to get more air penetration and quicker dry cleaning ff the roots.
2- get more Air circulation around the steams off the seedlings.
3- if Growing in plastic pods try punching a few half 0.5 mm holes around the pods to get more air in to the soil.
4- you possibly have room to up your temperature a little to 27C so it will help with drying out the soil quicker.
5-If nutrition burn shows up best solution will be transplanting them in new soil.
Because a flush will only worsen the overwatering problem.

It's third week for my small grow room :) I'd say everything is fine, like 7/10 fine ;) One plant shows signs of a problem - leaves are twisting. Beside that there is nothing else to be worried about.
I also increased the light distance from the plants and reduced nuts a little. In the same time I switched the light mode to full spectrum. Hope it will do.
Done some LST as well, bended plants away from the light, hoping that it will affect their final height.
Now I'm running three humidifiers :D :D two controlled by higrostat, one on a timer. Keeping optimal Rh is a challenge here.
3 Feb 2020, day 20
Third week is comming to the end. Now it became noticable how much faster than other strains White Widow is :) It outrunned other plant : +speed autos, Cream Caramel and Old Mandarine with about twice their height ! :) It now is a challange to keep all the plants at the same distance from the light like the others. I will try to bend White Widow down a little next week :) Beside that, everything seem to be perfect. Wish me luck!

Week 4 started. All the plants look good, White Widow is almost twice as tall as the others, so I have aligned all the plants so they all are at the same level - I just placed a wooden base under the pots in case you've been wondering ;) I decided to include Sensi Cal Mag Xtra to the diet this week, I will probably repeat in week 5. Tomorrow, I will add some new photos and of course will keep you guys updated about the progress :)
07 Feb 2020, day 24
Even though yesterday there were some obvious signs, today it have confirmed itself that all the plants show signs of pre-flowering and White Widow have already even started. I noticed that all the crucial spots on White Widow, meaning the flowering spots, are suffering from (what I think it is) watering deficiencies - leaves were down and kinda dry. Another thing, that all these flowering spots were successfully covered by bigger leaves so I decided to defoliate the plant. Will see how the it will deal with it ;)

End of the week people :D at least for my plants. All started to flower or I should rather say are at the point between flowering and pre-flowering :) next week will definetely be a blooming week :)
Leaves have grown all over hiding the bud spots so I decided to defoliate and I'm thinking about a rain check at the end of flowering stage :)

That's 5th week already, when the he** did it happen :D All plants entered flowering stage, White Widow still proves to have the best genetics and speed auto's the weakest :/ these three plants are definetely the smallest with fewest bud spots in comparison to White Widow, Cream Caramel and Old Mandarine.
Feeding chart this week have been extended with H&G Bud-XL and Advanced Nutrients Nirvana. The rest as per manufacturer's recommendation.
PS. as you can see on the last photo, I started three new seedlings: Jack 47 Auto, Cheese XXL Auto and a random seed I got somewhere stashed ;)

I'm at a point I really regret that I haven't planted more White Widow seeds, this plant's genetic really stands out from the crowd. If I could turn back time then I'd probably tried topping and LST with this one. But it is as it is :) I hope that Speed Autos will make up and get into pace with this beatiful plant :)

End of week no 5 :) Plants look good, they got thirsty as hell lately, I had to turn back on the feeding pump.
19 Feb 2020, day 36, day 10 of flowering
Week 6 have officially started. Plants are flowering so they are more and more beatiful, the smell becomes noticable but only in the grow room.
This is around 9th or 10th day of the flowering and I'm surprised that the plants didn't stretch much during that time, good for me :)
PS. I gave the new seedlings away to my pal. I also decided to give one speed auto and old mandarine away because of limited space. I would rather like to focus on best four plants in the room, giving them enough space and light penetration possible.

Week is coming to the end, plants are so beautiful I can't stop starring at them :) Hoping that they will develop fat buds at the end :)

Officially week 6 is over. All four plants look healthy, I hope they remain such until harvest :) I have finally decided for a last, very light defoliation. See ya next week!

I wanted to get your opinion on further defoliation. I don't have much experience in growing, especially in defoliation, lst and other techniques. Should I continue with a light defoliation only to uncover the bud spots. All opinions are welcome. Thanks!
Your plants are on the smaller end so too much defoliation could impact results. I would stop at this point currently. If possible, try to do some LST and spread the branches out a little bit without injurying them to let the light get to the bottom bud sites

New week have started. I removed some leaves, exposing bud spots and hoping the plant will focus on the buds.
28 Feb 2020, day 46, 20th day of flowering
It's friday! That means we will not see with each other with my plants for next 65 hours :/ This is how weekends look like for my plants: abandoned, on their own :P
But in real life they are dealing with it quite good. There's a pump set up with a timer which make sure plants are not thirsty. I bought third air humidifier, now all together they got around 16 liters of capacity, that should do for these 65 hours or so. Have a great weekend folks,!

Another, 7th week, is coming to the end ;) Plants look really healthy, what I previously think was some kind of a glitch or slow down, turned out not to be a problem. Buds, slowly, but are fattening up, really can't wait the moment they're ready for harvest :)

what a round number we got here today :) 50th day of the grow. Few days back I thought these damn plants won't ever grow, I didn't see a progress. But today I took a look at these beauties and I'm starting to believe that there will be something out of it :P

Another week coming to the end :) I wish the grow itself was coming to the end but... well, I need to be patient, I know :) Anyways, plants are adorable, the buds are starting to build up. Looking forward to see the progress :)

How do you guys think, how long these plants might need to finish? Reason I'm asking is that I'm planning at least 10 day flush before harvest and because I lack of experience in growing (there were maybe 2 grows I went through) I don't really know when to start. Any ideas? :)
The best is looking by yourself at the trichomes with a microscope I personally prefer them to be 30% amber color and then start flushing for 2 weeks they usually will finish with 40% amber trichomes, the high is different. It’s up to you buddy

9th week just started, I can't even describe my impatience right now ;)
But plants look good and that's most important. I've also decided to defoliate for the last time, I hope it won't mess things up :/
I also switched the lights from 24 to 18 hours period hoping it will encourage the plants to build up the buds :)

I decided I will start the flushing from now on. Nevermind when the plant will be ready for harvest, I just want to make sure I will not end up in a situation that it's time to harvest and the plants werent't properly flushed :)
Outdoor temps have recently increased and it has become noticable in my attic grow room. Problem is that temps are reaching even 30 degrees celsius, fortunately only during daytime (outside) but still it poses an issue, especially the plants are in flowering. I decided to put as much CO2 into the room as possible. I'm using home made co2 generators (bottles with sugar, yeast and sodium) and I hope this will balance the heat.

I'm struggling with high temperatures in my grow room, all because of a weather outside. I guess it may be the cause that the plants are maturing very slowly :/ But thankfuly meteo says that next few days it will be much colder and I really can't believe I'm saying this but I'm happy that it will :D Beside that everything looks good, I reduced RH to around 30-32%. Damn coronavirus, I woke up today to realize that my stash is empty :O and nowhere to fill it back up :P So I decided to do something horrific 😱😮 and I chopped one small branch from white widow, wrapped it in a paper and left in warm for several hours. It turned out I got 2.5g of some really (suprisingly) good weed :D I added a photo. I know lot of you have had thought: "what the heck is he doing" and I know that, I acknowledge that, I confess I did bad :D :D sorry, but at least I had a sample of what is coming and it is good :D Keep up the good job avoiding this corona-shit-virus! I don't have any photos today because of a limited access to my grow room (don't ask). Yet I gave the plants a brief look yesterday and they look beautiful, maturing very nice even though I forgot to set a timer on my water feeding pump and they were left dry for 3 days

If i may and please dont take it the wrong way but can i please ask you to lift that multi plug/cord off the floor or move it outside your grow, its a bit unsafe like that... Apologies if that seems a bit over board.
Today I'm in the mood I could throw all these f***ing plants away to the garbage. I was thinking I will have these autos ready in 8 weeks, perspective of next 4 or 5 makes me want to give up on this grow.
