Little guy growing kind of slow not used to Growing autos .this is my first Auto any tips would be appreciated. What if any is the difference with autos? Can I go a gressive at the beginning or should I continue with normal feeding schedule like regular seeds?
Transplanted and she is rather slow growing...i see that in alot of the grows. Backed off nutrients and added corn sst. my question is do you top Autos or do you let them go?
Pineapple was doing great till this human intervened... went back and forth deciding about topping her ended up topping her and chopping her head off :-(
Yes I did read several pros and cons this is my first Auto any tips would be greatly appreciated.
other than my misfortune she is growing great!
Accidentally over nutted her had to do a little extra flush and put some air on her she is doing better. Lesson learned. She is a sensitive one to nutes.
Look at it go! So far I am rather impressed with autoflowering girls she was looking kind of Droopy at the beginning. at the advice of many of you to reduce the nutrients in the early stages I pulled back. Now she is taking off with vigor. I did peeled back plenty of Fan leaves 2 get the light to penetrate down to the bottom nodes. Autos might be come a new fun grow for me.
I see the yeild difrrence from auto to non-autos. Also did a little lst to get more light penetration. Thanks for taking look!
Rough week realized I have over done it with the nutrients in the water did a little light flashing put some nutrients back in the soil. Still going strong no nute burn. Fun-Times growing autos
Water water! and under the 40p she goes. she is frosty and puffing up nicely. trimmed some fan leaves for light an air penetration. she is thick shorty with nice pinapple bottom booty.
Oh my it's been crazy around here this little girl turn out to be a surprise. She is so frosty an chunky. She would have filled out nicely. Impressed with auto's..
Well this girl was a true lesson in how Autos Grow for me. I will not be a topping any of my
Future Auto's (lesson learned). The buds smell incredible definitely can tell it's
Pineapple Express, sticky as you can tell from the pictures. Very easy to grow,
definitely trainable. had I taken care of her a little bit more she she would have stretched out
but like a dummy, I put the light to close and she came out short and chunky.
Have a variety of Auto's going to make it right on the next one! Thanks everybody for their tips.
*****The Smoke update!
Wow definitely worth picking up some regular's on this one to take my time with her.
the smoke is well...great. relaxing smooth not so intense she tastes of sweetness at first..
like i described to @ripper in my comment. the smoke is like walking toward a fruit vendor on the side of the road. Your down wind and the smell of the fruit hits you as the wind blows it by.You close your eyes to take it in and THEN>>> the smell of the Diesel from the gas station where she at hits you like a whiplash of the tail wind! then like as if a your in the middle of of the clash of smells you check your pockets cause the combination of the two is so damn enticing, you can't help but to want an
stand there with the cart vendor enjoying some fresh pineapple, cucumber, Jicama...as the smell
of diesel surrounds you. definitely going in my Vault of Forever seeds :) Good one @G13labs
This was fun pretty interesting keeping track of a plant online little hard with multiple Diaries so I will reduce it down to maybe one strain a month on here but overall fun.😉
@Ripper, I was rather impressed with her. At first she was going to. Then I topped her.. (which I will never do to an auto again!) So the stunt in growth is my doing.
The corn sst helped out in the end with the density. So i say she will at least end up in the 20s grams dry weight. I would definitely grow her again and the smell is amazing full of fresh pinapple sweet fruit. Like a fruit cart vendor sitting next to a gas station 😍
Again nice looking PE harvest. I am curious, did you harvest based on trichomes? If so, what would you say the trichomes where at - pictures make it look like majority of trichomes were either clear or cloudy, Not many amber? Was that your intention?
@Zannabis7, she was the first auto I've ever grown I alway go with photos. I will be playing with them more this year just need to put them in a pot that will fit with my setup.
She looking healthy mate I done same first time auto had 2 and topped one . Defo finished faster and a little less bud but still was a great outcome .😀happy growing
@Floresdejesus,I waited til buds were just start to form was about 2ft in height ,bud defo spread an even canopy all the same with auto. 😀 had nice buds all same size . She is coming along nicely all the same 😀nice work
She's looking to be coming along beautifully buddy. You are doing things great so far. I'd maybe switch out some of the nitrogen heavy Grow Big for some more phosphorus and potassium once she begins to show signs of flowering but other than that I think you are doing things perfectly. Keep up the great work buddy :D
Keen on seeing how she goes, I've just brought some of these seeds. So I'm keen to see if this strain produces. Let us know if you end up topping and if it works well. Keep up the great work 😁
Don't give up on topping autos ... just do some research on the strains you grow and see which ones can handle it and how early/late you can do it without having a negative impact.
If you liked the G13 auto version if PEx you should consider the photo version ... easy to grow and a better yielder.
Just a suggestion, but with only 400w of LED, you're not producing anywhere near enough µmoles tp need CO². It won't hurt but it's an added cost and procedure you don't need.
Overall, nice job
