This was a fun week! 🤩😍🤗😎 Ok.. so we have two different plants here, but they are both G14’s and today is day 15.
Plant #1 was a bit bigger then #2 and doing great so we topped her at day 11. Today is day 15 & they are both still rockin’! 💪🏼💪🏼🤩👏🏼🤞🏼 I’m super excited! I know there are different opinions on topping, but we thought we would try one and let the other just do it’s thing. (If anything we might do some LST on plant #2 but we have not started that yet). Both G14’s have had first dose of veg nutes & calmag. The plants seem loose in my soil though? Hoping things keep going good. We got a new light as well so it’s pretty lit up in there 🤞🏼💨💨

Plant #2 we are letting it ride out to see what it does, but with a bit of help from LSTraining.
Plant #1 is measuring around 7.5 inches but that’s on an angle as pictured, next time I untie it to rearrange I’ll try to get another measurement.
Plant #2 is around 5.5in. Both are just doing great and changing daily! Even from night to day we notice a difference! Both are receiving fox farm plant food and calmag each watering. I removed those super big fan leaves today so I’m hoping they do ok with that. 🤞🏼💪🏼🤩

Ok so this week has been awesome! These girls are so much fun to watch! They seem to be doing very well!
We have stronger lights now, We are using a 1000 watt, Plus a 2000 watt Spider light LED. Our room is 2x5. We raised them up today to 24inches away hoping to gain some height.
Plant #1 we topped at 11 days and did some LST and girl #2 we just let it be. We have removed leaves from both plants.

So you are ready, looking at your most recent photo. You have lots of white hairs this is where the buds will form. Therefore you need to introduce your bloom nutes now, this is around the time I would do it but you don't want to cut out the grow yet (but you should have a manufacturer schedule, if not Google one up) as the plant will enter now what we call the flowering stretch where it will double in height at least. 🌱👍Happy growing get that pk involved!
Hey everyone 😊 I’m posting a few days late but I’m gonna catch us up to day 34 (which would have been this past Friday). These girls are doing awesome! 420FastBuds G14’s. Plant #1 we topped on day 11 at 3 nodes and did some LST. Plant #2 we did some LST to but nothing major. We had a good stretch this week and earned about two more inches! We have been having a small issue with humidity being low but we are trying to keep up on it with a humidifier. Winter time in Michigan 🤷♀️🏼 We gave them some Big bloom and they seem to be doing good 🤩 💨 💨

I’m a weed smokin momma of 4 kiddos lol and it’s been a crazy two weeks!! 😰 they’ve all been taking turns being sick 🤦♀️ so I’m glad it’s over and everyone is feeling better!
As for these girls, they are rocking strong and filling out! They smell great and look good too! 😋 🤩 💨 💨

Hey hey hey Growmies 😘🤗🤩 Thanks for stopping in! I hope your week has rocked! 💪🏼So far so good over here! Today is day 49 for my set of G14s from 420Fastbuds and they are kickin ass! 🤩
The first plant was topped early on at 3 nodes and we also did some LST, we now have 4 beautiful main colas that are getting so thick!! This girl is smelling so so good and is really doing great! 💪🏼
The second plant pictured is the same age and was not topped. This girl we did LST early on and it is also doing very well and has a good smell!
Both girls are receiving a few different types of bloom nutes and also cal mag. We did some more defoliation on day 47 so the bud sites are sure to get plenty of light!
We’ve been using the spider lights and so far are very happy with them. 3 gallon pots that are super breathable.
Like I said, so far so good 😊 We are leaving to FL soon for 10 days 😬 so hoping everything goes smoothly while we are gone. Any tips for that (leaving plants while on vacation) are welcome!

Hey Growmies ☺️ Has anyone had problems with their bud testing at higher levels for metal? I was told not to use Ocean Forest or Tiger Bloom bc it causes elevated levels (for medical) I personally haven’t had my weed tested, just wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

Doing the google thing it seems since it is a bioremediator in the extreme its going to put out whatever is in that soil.

This strain for us was strong and pretty easy to grow. The worse thing that really happened was some discoloring of the leafs but that was probably due to lack of calmag. She grew fast and strong and had a really sweet smell almost the whole time 😋
Plant #1 was topped early-on and ended up with 4 main colas with a few smaller pieces all around. The orange hairs on this girl were nice and thick and very visible! An end dry weight of 43.99 grams of big beautiful, solid nugs. Breaks up nice and fat and has a good stick to it.
Plant #2 we let ride out (without topping) but stayed pretty solid on the low stress training (LST) and got a dry weight of 41.21 grams of an excellent mix of big and small dense sticky buds!
This smoke turned out great! Nice solid nugs. Nice high, happy, energetic buzz. Sweet smooth taste with a hint of dry mouth lol. Awesome plant! I’ll definitely grow her again! 💨 💨

@Greengirl420I do my own soilmix. I get Compostsoil from a tree nursery. This stuff is full of beneficals and a good base. Then I buy Peatmoss, Mix Perlite or Coco under // or both, then I add Vermiculite// Dolomite lime . And some wormcastings. The Basic reciepe you find in my diary " Big green ones". So i know whats inside of my soil. I cant exclude everything but alot.
@Mrs_Larimar, so I’m not sure if exact terms to put it easy but what I was told is when you want to take your bud to a dispensary (where medical marijuana is legal) you have to have it tested first from a lab. Apparently they check for all kinds of stuff (like poisons and stuff that can harm you, molds etc.) but they also check for metal levels. I was told that the levels that came back on this persons smoke were high & it linked back to the items I listed above. I have never sent my bud in to be tested but it made me want to look into it deeper.
This is why I wish I ran all organic lol!
I have used Foxfarm Ocean Forest and Tiger Bloom for all of my grows with no apparent side affects of smoking. Since the soil itself runs a little hot, I do a 3/1 mix with LightWarrior, another FoxFarm product. That keeps the soil from compacting. I use only distilled water or purified drinking water to feed, and set the PH to 6.2 or 6.3 to lower the overall soil ph to around 6.5
I have not had my product tested, so maybe I am killing myself.😄
