[Grow]
In her vegetative phase, she grew extremely well. Shot through the roof, outperforming my expectations. This meant I had to train her drastically - pseudo-mainline was the tool of choice. It worked well.
Flowering phase was tedious, very slow going. She ended up being a crazy purple and beautiful specimen.
Throughout the grow, she reacted strongly to minute changes in light/feed schedule and environmental variations.
Full sativa, long-ish and airy buds. A bitch to trim -- I ended up throwing away ~200g larf (wet).
Smells like lemon cake frosting and exotic candy.
[Potency]
Low. A full oven of a Mighty usually knocks me on my ass when testing these samples, but I'm only mildly high by this. Underwhelming cerebral and body high, but somehow the high feels... full. Whole. Complete. Well-rounded and smooth.
- THC is around 7-15%.
[Vape]
160C:
Flavours of sweet citrus flower with mint/eucalyptus undertones. Yummy stuff!
- Mellow and carefree
- Relaxation of chest and shoulders
- Indica-like high, not cerebral at all at this temperature
- Paranoia (mild)
180C:
Flavours of tangy lemon. Slightly woody
- Mellow
- Relaxation of chest, shoulders, neck and face
- Headache (mild)
- Dry eyes
210C:
Flavours of sour nuts. Not that kind, you crazy person
- Cerebral high. Almost energetic
- Couch-lock
- Dizzy
- Feels like having drunk a couple of beers
- Dry eyes and mouth
What a nice journey that was, to grow out an actual oldschool and unnamed strain.
Can't wait to treat my dad to some weed from his youth.
I probably could've let her go another week or two for major amber, but I liked the trichomes as they were at harvest time. No couch-locks for me, please.
I have the heat stress under control (reduced heat, increased lamp distance, increased RH%), but the leaves are also showing signs of imbalanced nutrients -- can anyone please help? It looks like CalMag/S issue, but I'm not sure.
Not noticing any issue leaves look perfectly fine ... If this was a cal-mag issue the young leaves would be yellow, but the veins would still be green or the part between veins would be yellow.
So my dad just came over last week with a little glass bottle that has seeds in it. He said he found them in the basement in an old stash box, and probably 30+ years old. I told him there's no way they will germinate. Guess I need to try!!!
@Locnar2112, That story sounds familiar. Seeds can last for a surprising amount of time. Good luck on germinating those tiny sparks of hope, my good man/woman :) Don't give up hope if it doesn't germinate right away -- this one took almost two months.
