I would like to replace water on a two week cycle; any recommendation on how to measure the nutes during the off-week, or do I just give them the same amount? Do I need to base it on the TDS reading?

@LLJavelin,sorry just seen this wonderful grow, try and keep nutrients the same level, use your ec/ppm meter daily and top up as necccessary, i find that autos seem to like 500-750 ppm in flowering, Happy GrowingπŸ‘†

Thanks, I had read that awhile ago but was seeing so much variance on these diaries that I thought I'd ask some master growers.

@LLJavelin, it depends on the light you are using. Google your light and put distance to canopy. Or you can maybe ask the company ✌️

@LLJavelin, I use hps but @GardenOfHerbs uses Led's she could be of help.

No,f feel very little heat; these lights run very cool. Since the seeds are autoflower, the light duration is not supposed to matter; I was just hoping that cutting it back might somehow trick it into putting all its energy into the bloom stage.

@LLJavelin, If there's not much heat I wouldn't worry too much about them getting close unless you see signs of light burn. Also from your earlier point, yes you should def remove some fan leaves, at least the ones covering your bud sites. :)

After looking at some grows here, I realized I was seriously underfeeding due to bad guidance. I'm now dosing using the growweedeasy.com schedule for GHE Flora series, and in just two days my plants have doubled in size! Now I need advice on how close I should set the 150W LED; its currently about 16" above the top of the canopy. I also have a 300W LED I can use, was thinking of switching them out during bloom. Any help I can get is appreciated.

@LLJavelin,go here again. www.growweedeasy.com/how-far-grow-lights This should help you.πŸ‘ŠπŸ˜Ž

one of the two plants is flowering earlier than the other; will be tricky adjusting nutes. Suggestions? The slower one is bigger and in the center, so I'm thinking I should favor that one?
LLJavelin
LLJavelinweek 5
yeah, but they're too big for the small space! At what point should I consider trimming the fan leaves to get more light to the buds? I realize the fan leaves provide energy to the plant but their must be a trade-off point?

LLJavelinweek 4
Increased nutes according to growweedeasy flora series chart, and plant doubled in size in 5 days!

Hey mate, they shouldn't get much taller at this stage, can you feel significant heat when you hold your hand over the top buds? Also is there a reason you switched the lights to 12/12 this week?

What's your humidity at?
LLJavelin

@Darkmanx, The humidity had been very low here recently but now its back up; my AC says its in the 40's, but I have no way to measure inside the box.

Oh man this looks like my first grow. I tried to squeeze 4 plants in one micro grow space. What I should have done was possibly a mainline and keep them very very small. What I did when my plants outgrew my space was trim off any small colas because the growth was minimal. Just a sucker at that point robbing energy from the larger. This was a drastic trim but it allowed me to harvest 4 strains in one grow.
LLJavelin
LLJavelin
@Darkmanx, I trimmed off all the fan leaves and small colas last week, and its making a difference.

Ps if they are autos, they can have 18 hrs sun, and all the energy goes to the flowers.
LLJavelin
LLJavelin
@BigDaddyK, i read that its OK to have autos at 18 hrs but I was trying to trick them into stopping vertical growth before they burnt up; i was actually wondering whether the seed company sent me regular seeds and not auto. Anyway, I would change back to 18 but wont that really confuse the plant at this point?

Why did you choose to not use a dosage of sugars?

Good to see another fellow stealth/micro grower. Good luck. I'll be following your progress. Maybe I'll learn a thing or two.
Darkmanx
Darkmanxweek 5
If you look at your canopy from above, try to see one layer and trim accordingly. But what I'm unsure of is if fan leaves hold nutes then how many is too many?

Don't forget to update on the 12/12 switch. I thought about doing the same as an experiment.
