Star Bud (Hortilab Seeds) Amazon Grow

Hello everyone! As you can see I'm growing Starbud by Hortilab Seeds which are 3 week old cuts rooted in an x-stream propogator and transferred today into an Amazon Aeroponic System using the Shogun Fertilisers which have so far proven themselves though I have not yet finished a crop with them, my other crop Ugorg in other diary will be ready in around 5 weeks so check that out too if your interested in these nutes. This will be a sort of half sog and half scrog as I have 15 cuts fairly close together and intend to veg them only till they hit an inch through the net then I will flip to 12/12 and hopefully let the initial stretch in flower fill the net as oppose to growing a few plants and having them fill 70% of the net before flipping, fingers crossed it should work. I'm vegging under 400w halide and a budmaster G.O.D 9 set to half power and both sat over a meter away from cuts while they harden off and angled so that their footprints merge or crossover. When it comes time to flower I will use 600w hps and turn the LED onto full power. That's all for now folks, wish me luck and the same to you all in your own projects. Peace ✌️🏻

Pictures are from 4 days ago on Sun 26th Nov The roots and plants have tripled in size since veg day 1 I reckon the growth is going to be very explosive so I'm hoping to get a node or two through the net by week 3 veg at which point I'll flip the lights train them 2 weeks in the net before chopping the lower 1/3-1/2 and then just play the waiting game another 7 weeks or so.

Week 3 Day 5 Girls are just venturing through the net now. Really need to get the net stretched out now ready for them now because they ain't messing about. How long does everyone reckon before I flip? Like I say I don't want a jungle to contend with but I want it nicely filled with a fairly even canopy so all tips on that welcome. Roots are really taking off too, colonizing the trays.

Week 4 Day 3 Veg Only been 5 days since last post but I think Im going to flip these tomorrow I reckon they should fill out in first 2 weeks of flower. Really want to avoid a jungle given how close they all are to each other. All very healthy. One plant more on the LED side which makes it more filled out but tbf the plants on that side are much more vigouros, thicker stems and broader leaves etc. LED is controversial in bloom but in veg it kicks halide and florescent ass. Should I pull the net in tight and flip or what fam?

Week 1 Day 5 Flower Hi Everyone 🖐️🏻 Thanks for looking in! I switched to flower 5 days ago and the girls are filling out well each day. I just today drilled a hole in the floor and inserted an iron rod into it which now pulls the net in a lot tighter and has allowed me to start tucking and guiding branches where they can get the best light and fill the net. I have supported this with a bit of defoliation to get light to those lower branches and get them pushing growth towards the canopy. As the next two weeks progress I will continue to defoliate and even remove some lower branches which aren't likely to benefit the canopy and in fact deprive the canopy of some energy. The roots are looking good rapidly colonizing the tubs, I've had to return them to the trays from the reservoir below several times which is a headache I'm happy to have😂 I may have flipped too early and aren't likely to fill the area but it should still be a heavy crop and if rather have a manageable grow than a jungle. If it proves way off then next time I grow the same strain using the same method I'll add another week to the veg. Week 2 Day 6 Flower Super happy with this grow so far! I've been defoliating them every couple or few days up until last night when I removed all the lower growth which didn't make it to the canopy/net and a fair amount more leaves which shaded branches. Going into week 3 of flower I will continue to defoliate if need be but I don't think I will have to do much we will see if they stretch more growth or slow down and start flower production. Late update on this week as I was busy harvesting my Ugorg#1 I do apologise! Basically everything went smoothly budsites began developing and I continued efforts to keep canopy as even as possible and made final trim of undergrowth.

Week 4 day 3 Flower A lot of bud development here. Really flying through weeks 3 and 4 and smell really coming on nice! Increased feed strength to EC 2.4 adding PK Warrior and removing Katana Roots in the process. All my lovely ladies are very healthy so far I'm so happy 😊 Thanks for looking in fellow growers! Week 5 Day 7 Flower Everything moving along swimmingly Nice strong smell coming from these nicely forming buds. Roots are nice and clean colonizing the trays. Week 6 Day 7 Flower They are all very frosty now, smell is pungent and hairs are turning brown but they still have a lot of potential for more weight yet and the trichs are still clear. I reckon I'm going to run week 7 as normal then run week 8 with shogun dragon force/sumo active and flush with water week 9 and 10. Anyone know if it's ok to run terpinator alongside dragon force and sumo active in last week before final water flush? The npk of terpinator is only 0-0-4 what's your thoughts @shogun your advice is always gold. Weird and wonderful development in the garden, if you look at the pics you will notice that one of the girls has thrown out buds in the centre of it's leaves. I've seen pictures of this before but it's a first in my garden and strange considering it's only one plant yet all are cuts from the same mother grown in the same system feeding from the same reservoir and I've grown from this mother before also but never seen this. Hi everyone! Sorry for the late post I've had a lot of personal crap holding me back but I'm on the bounce back and trying to catch up with everything. Couple lessons learnt on this one. I'm going to run this strain again but a little differently based on experience from this grow, the plants were ready at week 8 barring flush so I reckon I can cut away two weeks of flower time and start my plain water flush at week 7 and chop at week 8 instead of 10 which will be great as I will be adding at least one but most likely two of those weeks to the veg time so my turnaround will be the same but my end yield should hopefully be much better. This grow is by far my best quality end product, hard nugs, caked in trichs, stinky as hell water and strong as a Russian circus freak. Yield however was not as expected from 2 meter squared using a 600w hps and 450w Ied I wanted 20-25 oz and I got 15 but I know where I went wrong as previously mentioned and I have set a challenge to do it again hitting 25oz, same strain, same system, same nutes, 1 extra plant, 1-2 weeks extra veg time and 1-2 weeks less flower time.
