Since I last posted the NL has been recovering from me removing most of her infected roots, I pumped her with double the amount of air and stones, and just kept up with the normal routine.
There was deffinately root recovery but it was a battle. I was skeptical the buds would fatten and grow properly, but it seems they grew alright as the days progressed. I'm used to growing under LED so it's been a change growing with HPS.... Pretty intense lighting, but deffinately noticing a difference flowering with HPS.
Many things I have learnt from this round, as it's been my first real attempt at DWC.
Every now and then there are growers out there who can inspire you, and even change the way you grow, and move you in the right direction. I need to give a big shout out to BigDaddyK on this platform.... Basically you have inspired me as a grower to change the way I do things, and when I was a bit lost on my bucket design (see photos) I would ask a few simple questions and you gave me your advice. Thank you brother...
Because of your input I've changed my bucket designs which were driving me crazy, and we're never going to work in the long run anyway... Ive named my first bucket after you (I will nickname all my buckets) so I will remember how they got to that stage. Other buckets will get nicknames as well to distinguish between what plants are growing in which buckets
Also got me thinking about my sanitation and my meters....
My PH meter and EC/PPM meter are cheap chinese junk... Had them for almost a year, just a matter of time before it fails and I would probably never know... Out with the old and in with the new, I've ordered some new gear to replace the shit stuff.
Much going on... Despite co-vid challenges I'm planning to build a purpose built room specifically for growing... 3.3 meters x 4 meters. Wife seems to be ok with it, as I will give her a new office next to it. ;) I feel like a kid in a candy store looking at new lights, tents, products....
Onto the plant, have given her PhD water for last 3 days, chopping her down tonight, thus the post...
Will post an update on yield once dried.
Hey guys, this NL auto is very dark compared with the other plants. Also had some spots on the leaves, but I did a Res change and defoliation of sick, bud site blocking leaves. Could it be a Cal-Mag deficiency? I was thinking nitrogen toxicity but no clawing of leaves.
Yes it would be a calcium deficiency at a early stage but can't be sure , you'r not running into a N toxicity to me BUT your plants are dark green so no problems if you cu a bit on the N in your feeding , of course purple light are well known to induce dark green foliage ( I've experimented it ((depending on the spectrum)) so it could be simply due to that fact. You' on the way and these issues are minor but can still be corrected. Free advice , in my opinion you can feed with a 1.8ec solution without seeing signs of over feeding
@BigDaddyK, mentioned you in my new post. All I could find is 30L tool boxes, now converted them. See pics. Btw. Thank you for all your advice. 👍Will be asking you more annoying questions shortly.

@raptor65, Thanks brother. Had a rocky start to the grow but I think I'm at a turning point. Love this site for the encouragement, and the simple fact you can reach out to other growers and ask questions to perfect what we love doing.
