Day 8: slight increase in size since yesterday. I’m going to feed 250ml water tomorrow with .25Ml calmag. I think I’ll wait a bit longer before feeding grow. I’ll add more details tomorrow. Happy growing! Any advice is appreciated!
Day 9: a lot of growth since yesterday the smaller leaves have developed small fingers and I can see another set of leaves making its way up. I’ve fed her 250ml of water with .25ml of calmag. I didn’t get a chance to water the pot before starting this grow so once she’s a bit bigger I’ll increase the dosage slightly. Not quite as far along as I hoped for the age she is but I’m happy with the progress. I’ve added some sticky sheets on all my pots and hung one up as I noticed some sort of flies in the tent. I’ll check up later and see if they’ve caught anything. I’ve also removed the cardboard I had covering the coco to now start a proper wet-dry cycle. This should help with the pests aswell as growth.
Day 10: only a slight increase in size since yesterday, I’m hoping that once she dries out plenty and I water again she’ll start to take off. The medium is definitely too moist and I believe this is what is slowing growth. A mistake I keep making and I’ll definitely learn from it. The sticky sheet I added in the tent has caught one flying pest and i haven’t noticed anything else flying around since so I’m hoping this is enough for now.
Day 11: not much to say apart from growth is very slow, but again I think this is from being too moist and I’m still playing the waiting game drying out. Hopefully she picks up once I get the watering under control.
Day 12: not much to say. Very minuscule growth, the medium is finally starting to dry out so hopefully after drying out and giving a small water she is okay.
Day 13: only seems to be an increase in size in the new growth. The two single finger leaves are looking very unhealthy, starting to go yellow from the ends and there’s some marks on them. I’ll look into it and hopefully find a solution. Letting the coco dry out doesn’t seem to be working out for it so my last thought is that the ph levels in the soil aren’t right. I’ve watered 300ml with calmag and grow so I’ll see how she progresses.
Day 14: after a quick water she’s starting to show positive results. The two single finger leaves look super unhealthy but the newer growth has started to get a lot larger and looks much better. so for now I Am not worried hopefully this is the start of a clean run.
Can anyone offer any info on my plant? It looks like it’s popping pistils at the tiny size it is. I can’t find any information on it when researching. What can I expect to happen next? Is it worth keeping her going or should I just start one of the other strains I have waiting?
She's starting to bud. What will want to do is raise your light about 2-2.5 ft. She will chase the light and double-triple in size daily. I tend to give my autos a bit more sleep than 4 hrs and noticed more bud production.
@Ema26, im a canada climate, cold at night is a good trick to bring out blues and purples when in last few wks of flower. But you want to keep her warm next few weeks. I like 90 day, 80-75 night. Then drop down to 60-65 at night when in last couple weeks for color. Day time i always stay high 80s to low 90s. You sweat walking into my room if lights on
@Ema26, just watch your heat. Plants like to be warm if it's too cool than you'll get min. growth. Try cutting a soda bottle bottom off place over plant. Like mini green house. Can adjust the humidity by removing the cap.
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics 🙌
Let us know if you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! 🌱☘️🌴🍀🌿🌳
@Fast_Buds, many thanks! I was wondering what nutrients you recommend for growing in coco. I see a lot of people growing without nutrients but they seem to be growing in soil. Thanks again!
@Greengirl420, I know right😢 the really is no space for error with autos. Thanks I think I’ll try a photoperiod next and focus more on training techniques.
Those brown spots are a pH issue. You should shoot for a pH of 6 and also she looks a little hungry. I would give her 1/4th dose of nutrients every time you water and she will be happy. And be careful not to overwater. Letting the medium dry out on top between waterings will help control the gnats. Also little yellow sticky traps work great. Good luck! Hope you get some nice purple buds.
@Wicked_Stix, I’m glad you said that, I gave her some calmag and grow last night at 6 ph and was worried it might be too much. I gave her approx 300 ml. The yellow sticky traps are a godsend I have had no issues with gnats since putting them in and letting it dry out between waterings. Many thanks for the advice! I’ll check out your page!
@Germano, hey:) I think I do actually! I noticed it only in the last 24 hours. Any advice on getting rid of them? Feel free to check out my other diary I’ll be sure to check out yours. Happy growing!
My autos are around that size when they flower. Just after 4 set of true leaves.
However when harvesting she's around 4ft. Autos will chase the light and stretch more than regs.
@DoDrugs420, don’t go to heavy😅 give her some grow and see if it helps, any sort of bloom nutes won’t help your case, I think that’s where I went wrong, good luck👌
It looks like she is about to transition to flower. Unfortunately she probably won't yield much, but that's how it goes with autos sometimes. Not much room for error, but tons of opportunity for learning 💜💜
@Wicked_Stix, thanks for the response! That’s very interesting to know. I didn’t think it was possible with the plant being so small and thought it maybe to do with some sort of mould. I couldn’t find anything about it when reading articles. I’m not too worried about yield I’m purely just learning at the moment with no expectations. I’ve learnt a lot from my other grow just sadly I keep messing up the start😢
