Royal Gorilla by TOTEM

Well, this is the second time I grow this strain. About the first growth: 5 entire months outdoor, then took her indoor for the blooming phase. This time I'll grow her entirely indoor, and I'm so curious to see the differences in taste and effects with the final bud! This week I transplanted her and added immediately some B-52 and Voodoo Juice to make her adapt faster to the new 17L pot.

She looks healthy! Gorilla’s genetics are very very strong, for what I remember from my last growth. This week I started with more nutrients, and added the Connoisseur Grow A+B to make her become huge 😜

Moved the light 20cm up and it seems like she appreciated the change. Now that the temperature and the humidity level are more stable, she should grow faster. UPDATE: TOPPED! My 2 Royal Highness are still seedlings, while all the other plants (Gorilla included) are getting bigger and bigger every other day. Let’s say I had to top these ladies (also) to wait the Highnesses. Come on babies!! ❤️

Royal Gorilla = satisfaction! She’s growing well and recovered well and fast from topping. Will not do LST due to the lack grow room space, but I’m sure she will do a great job, no matter what!

Not much to say. Recovered totally from top on main cola I did two weeks ago. Will keep her in veg for 2-3 more weeks until the 2 Royal Highness grow a little more

10cm in one week. That’s impressive! The only problem is that she’s in the back of the grow box, and it’s getting hard taking good photos. I can’t see her stems because of all the leaves, as you can see. But hey, she’s so healthy, she loves AN nuts and she loves her pot as well, which is bigger than the others in the room. I’m in love with this strain. I smoke Gorilla at least 4 times a week and it always gives me wonderful times. Flowering stage started some days ago. If it’s like my previous cycle, she will take at least 2 more weeks than what’s reported on RQS website.

Goooooorilla! What a smell. Bigger and better, day after day. Ok, added Big Bud to help the bud production and the absorption of the nutrients. HR is now about 50% and the temperature is slightly lower in general, but not that much to harm the plant. She’s getting HUGE, thanks to both the bigger pot and the strong genetics of the plant. Still no pistils after 10 days from the switch, but a lot of stretch happening. Patience now.....

It’s showtime! Flowering started, baby. I got some problems in the first two weeks after the switch. My digital timer didn’t switch off the lights completely, but left them switched on a little. This caused the plants to not recognize the dark time as totally dark, and they didn’t flower. With a new mechanical timer, the problem has been fixed and plants thanked me. Now, Gorilla is “safe”, as well as the two Blue Mystic and one Royal Highness. All the other plants have not started flowering yet, but I’m praying for it. It seems like they’re almost there. This Gorilla is fine by the way! She’s located in the middle back of the grow box and she’s becoming so huge that I had to make some space for the nearest plants. Starting this week, I stopped giving her Tarantula, Piranha and Voodoo Juice, adding B-52 and Nirvana. This will be the final feed schedule for the next weeks. The air circulation and CO2 in the room were a little bit weak, so I had to set the air extractor to the maximum level, working 24/7 (before it was 15 mins on and 15 mins off), as well as doing the same with the two internal fans. As a consequence, the temperature dropped down a bit, but not too much. Let’s say now it’s more constant. See you next week for more updates!

This week is going well. Not much to say. The plant has grown so much. Flowers getting bigger. Yum yum 😋

Removed 3 plants from the grow room because they had couldn’t get enough light. I moved the 3 highest plants, Gorilla included, near the entrance, because they are those who need more maintenance at the moment. I’m so happy about this Gorilla. Flowers getting bigger, and from this week the smell has become stronger. I’m just sad she couldn’t grow properly (only on two sides) for the lack of space.

A honest opinion? I’m sorry that she could’t grow with all the space and light she needed. She’s good, I removed all the lower branches that light could’t reach, but she has not much space. Well, I removed 3 plants from the grow room and now she’s feeling better, but I hope lower branches will stretch up and fatten up a lot more. Peace ✌️

Everything’s good here! RQS did a great job with this strain. And I keep enjoying the smoke from my last growth. Vaped at 180C it will make you sociable, taking your head and providing you great time while doing your stuff. Increasing the temperature at 190C or even 200C it will make you stick to the sofa for hours, while making you feel totally relaxed and stoned. Cheers!

Almost one meter, but I think she actually stopped growing. This plant has a strange shape due to the big space limitations she had in the veg phase, but no problem, there are two big main colas on the top, and a frosty sea full of smaller colas like 20cm below them. Next week I’m gonna add the Overdrive. Can’t wait to see the real explosion! It’s interesting because on last weeks I’ve been able to give her 1.5L more per week. She needs plenty of water now that the heat lamps are on the bottom of the grow room, near the pots. It’s gonna end soon! Flowering time for this strain should be 8-9 weeks, but I’ll be looking at the trichomes to analyze the best time to harvest this girl. And, last thing, as you can see I moved the CBD Crack inside the grow room. No problems with the spaces. I just had to reorganize some things, but it worked well. ✌️

This week I made a special video tour of the grow room, hope you like it. This Gorilla is feeling great! She’s spent this week fattening up lower colas. These colas are even frostier than bigger ones. I didn’t get them so frosty on my last growth. I still have to give her Overdrive since the soil is still wet, but will do it in a few days. Almost done here! What a journey. I’m gonna flush her tonight, even if the soil is still wet. I’m sorry I don’t have one extra week (2 weeks with Overdrive would be better), but the buds are big and fat now. Definitely time for a big flush. Due to lack of space, she was forced to develop her branches on two sides only. Then, the main two branches stretched really a lot during flowering, and lower branches didn’t get all the light they needed.
