New leaves are there, getting bigger day after day. This means that, along with the nutrients I gave her today, next week she will be HUGE!
She’s still small, but this is her 5th week. I know she could grow a little bit more, but I couldn’t wait more because of the other plants in the grow box. They were becoming too big compared to this little one. I hope she’ll be able to grow properly with at least one very big cola!
She doubled her height in just one week, that’s pretty much! Ok, maybe not so strange since she’s 60% Sativa and 40% Indica. I’m happy about the height because she was the smallest one (planted 3 weeks later than the others), but now she’s showing us she wants to explode and reach that damn light! Added some Big Bud to absorb nutrients better and grow bigger buds from the beginning. Yay!
Never topped or trained this lady because I’ve planted her 3 weeks later than the others. So happy about her, even because the delayed flowering time of two weeks gave her the possibility to grow properly. With this structure after 5 weeks, now she’s ready to fly!
2 weeks from switch and still no flowers. This could be caused by AN bloom nutes given in advance (see previous weeks), especially the B-52. This is why I flushed the plant. All the photos are taken one day after the flush. I also switched off the blue spectrum, hoping to force flowering. It’s strange because some other strains have already started flowering, so there are no light leaks or anything else. Environment conditions are normal, that’s why I think it’s something related to bloom ferts. Something that inhibits flowering like B-vitamins.
Still drying up from last week flush, so no ferts. Will start again next week as soon as the soil is ready to accept new water. I removed all the lower branches that couldn’t reach the light and I moved the ceramic heat lamps in the bottom of the grow box to help the drying process of the soil.
But the big news is that she finally started flowering! And this was the last who still was stuck in pre-flowering phase 😃
Big leaves, no toppings, LST, or any other training. Just removed some lower branches. She’s just started flowering, but the growth rate of the flowers is high!
Have you seen? A new plant arrived in the grow room. Unfortunately, this plant is obscuring this Highness, which is just in the back. Her flowers are not so many, but they got big last week. From this week I even removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, adding instead B-52 and Nirvana.
She’s growing well with a big main cola at the top, and some other smaller colas just below that. I can’t take good photos because she’s in the back, but I saw her structure by one side and I’m VERY satisfied! And she loves her nutes!
Ouch, I can’t take serious photos with this plant. She’s growing regularly, with no much space to express herself. If her smoke is pleasant, I’ll grow her again with the proper training 😉
I can see a big fat cola developing right there. Whao. I was thinking it would never fatten up, but.... patience is the key while growing. This is also Overdrive effect going on. It really made that buds explode. Yeah! I still have to decide whether giving her another portion of nutrients, or just flush, but I think she can handle them. I’m telling this because she seems almost ready. What do you think? Let me know. Cheers!
I’ve been finally able to move the plant out of the grow room, and discovered that she’s pretty big!! So much bigger than I thought 😃 And the smell is creamy. It made me think about the smell of the AK47, which is very similar. This is the last week of nutes before flowering, there we go!! It’s important to remember that this grow cycle was mainly intended to try many new strains altogether, so no much training has been made on any of them.
There we go. Welcome back buds! 18 weeks from seed, and this is the end of 2017 growth cycle.
Royal Highness has been a good girl. As I said many times, this was a density growth, or, better, a cycle intended to grow many different strains with no expectations about the yield, due to the limited space.
I never topped or trainer her, and she grew up partially in the shadow of nearest and bigger plants. She came out like a Christmas tree, with a big cola on the top, and smaller colas on lower branches. The yield is definitely a lot under the expectations, but that’s not a problem since I just wanted to try the strain. I say this because I’ll be the only person smoking all these strain. And I don’t smoke a lot, so yeah, you can guess how long I’ll take to smoke them all.
Just one thing about final weeks of flowering: I don’t know why, but she automatically cropped her top cola. I initially thought it could be mold, but it was really a voluntary crop. So strange!
Her smell is so creamy and makes me remember the AK47 auto by RQS I’ve grown some years ago. I tried a sample bud some weeks ago when THC levels were still low, so I’m not writing a smoke report now. Will do it as soon as buds are ready.
Overall that’s a good plant. I think you should follow @somnabull Royal Highness to see the real potentials of this amazing strain. Gg bro! I wish you a huge quality harvest right there. And to who’s been following this growth, I tell you that I’m gonna start a new cycle very soon (as soon as I finish my CBD auto strains and possibly the Dance World experiment).

@somnabull, Thank you bro!!! By the way, do you think I didn't veg enough? I think 8 weeks are okay in general, but there have been some problems:
1) She couldn't find the proper space to grow.
2) She didn't get all the light she needed.
2) I didn't train her.
I can't wait to grow my next plant like your Royal Highness! One of the best training I've ever seen!!
