I will make a video from unboxing to settling my unknown strains in their new home from Root Riot cubes to solo cups to start them off and then I will update weekly to see the results of first time Budget Grow.
If you live in a decent climate and have access to a window, I'd pick that for sure. Pick one of the tent holes and run your exhaust line through. However, pumping recycled air back into the room and subsequently back in your tent from your intake may not be ideal for you... If the weather is not good where you are or if it will affect your tent environmental parameters, I would just exhaust into the room around the grow tent, but you will need a carbon filter for either application. If you don't want to advertise the smell, venting outside, you're going to need it. If you choose to vent into the room you will probably still want one. I love my weed and the smells, but it permeates into fabrics and it will never, go, away. LOL

So this 2nd week was pretty stressful for these girls. They suffered through waiting for me to get my new grow tent setup going but I ordered my parts from a few different companies so everything showed up on different days. Feb 6th 2020 setup will be completed. I will be putting my grow together based on all research and help I have gotten from the great growers of cannabis all over the world and through all of the awesome forums on the net so thank you all very much for your support. The humidifier came in last and for their 1st two week the humidity kept dropping to low 30's; not good as that can stop growth and turn them into hermies. So the plants should in theory be bigger by week 2 but their not. So my final thoughts is advice to other newbies like me is MAKE SURE ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT IS UP AND RUNNING PROPERLY BEFORE BIRTHING YOUR GIRLS. Just saying 😨! So fingers crossed mine will survive.

I will say that the 203 is more the adequate for that space, but check the calculator just in case👍. On a personal note, I personally over sized my intake and outtake and bought two variable motor speed controllers (pretty cheap. 15-20 bucks each) to lower the speed. If and when I expand I won't have to buy another inline or outtake, I just need to turn them up👍. If you think you might be expanding soon, maybe consider over sizing your unit as well so it can handle a larger space if you need it to.

So this week 3 Day 15 and 16 we are going to keep an eye on girls to see if my new investment pays off. Not sure if girls will flourish at this point waiting so long for right condition they should be much bigger in 3rd week and maybe the BAGSEED is just WORTHLESS ? Think I did an OK job at setting everything up but I wonder about a few things I need to ask you all.
1. Do I have too much stuff in tent and over doing it?
2. My veg switch seemed weak (1000W Giixer LED) not sure of wattage form wall? Maybe light is shit? dunno;can I use full spectrum during full grow?
3. How do I know what temp and RH were through the lights off cycle? Not sure if humidistat/temp monitor are working correctly.
4. If YOU had a 32x32x63 grow tent how would YOU set controls on auto heater and auto humidifier to get the desired or average temps and humidity to settle with as minimal fluctuation as possible?
Anyway I am pretty freaking 😊 with my setup but its all in vain if it does not produce bud for me right? Thoughts from all needed and welcome before I lose another plant to failing.
yesterday I downsized from 5 gal fabric pots to 1 gal fabric pots because the 5 gal pot soil stayed too cold all the time and I wanted roots to be warm. It works for me and since it is my first grow I just want to see if I have what it takes so I will grow 1 single cola with tight nodes and hopefully a nice long big bud🤤 just for now.
It has been a good week and I am very pleased with the growth of this plant. After I had cleaned the pre filter thats on my carbon filter this plant just started spitting out new growth and leaves. She told me she was hungry so I fed her 2 tsp of FF Big Grow with 2 liters of water at 6.8 Ph and runoff at 6.1 ph with soil temp at 68F. I didnt realize in the 5th week of veg I could also start her on FF Tiger Bloom so I will do that on the next feeding. Right now I am feeding once a week. Has anyone ever experienced a low plant with a ton of leaves developing????? She doesnt seem to be stretching at all but stem is getting thick and leaves are getting huge. It is bag seed after all and I have read that bag seed has its problems so I guess if I can grow something that is a problem and turns out to be some bomb ass shit then maybe I can even get a shot at noobie of the month huh?😏
This week has been great!! I believe she is responding very well to the FF nutes, I fed her with 2tsp of big grow and 1tsp of tiger bloom PH'ed to 6.5 She Is finally growing upward to produce colas. I looked her over pretty thorough and found what looked to me like 4 colas and dared myself to experiment with fim'ing so I located those 4 new growth tips and pinched them off each one so to leave about 20% on each one. I'm in my glory over this. I had my doubts about her surviving but she's amazing and so green and lush. I can smell her young green aroma while fondling her leaves in my fingers. Can't wait to see how she recovers from the fim and how many more colas shes capable of sharing with me.
Day 47 did my very first ever LST on two stems today and cleaned up some undergrowth stopping light. Shes opened up a bit now for lots of light. Lets see how she likes the LST in couple days. I will water and feed with nutes in couple more days.
This week has been exciting to see her changes. After cleaning some dead leaves she perked up and I can tell shes focusing her energy up top. She is also sporting some pretty white pistils right now but I still need to see some upward growth of colas. Right now I have lights about 22" from her but I have it on full spectrum both veg and bloom switch on. Wondering if I should JUST have bloom switch on??? Im not sure, need some experienced feed back on this thought!
Day 63 So this has been a tough week for our nation and some of us have been distracted including myself. My girl is struggling and stressing too as her pistils seem to be falling out like our hair does lol!! I fed her today after going without for 8 days 😰 I will be sure to take some pics for update.
Day 67 nothing to report really the tiny lady is doing well with pistils nice and strong. I touched one of her sugar leaves today and my fingers stuck together lol. Sticky as hell she is. I can admit that this plant is an extreme failure due to being first grow ever but I just couldn't pull her out. I figured I would give her a chance by using her as kind of a test/ learning experience and I'm not really banking on a gracious yield cause it's not gonna happen but I'm ok with that. I will just try again and again till I grow something I will be proud to post on my diary.
4/16/20 Day 75 Still looking beautiful! Gave her a gal of water with nutes today after completing a technique called SCHWAZZING??
getting rid of fan leaves to expose all the bud sites to more light. I just hope this schwazzing doesn't kill her after all this time. I did feed her afterwards though as if taking a child in for haircut then give them a sucker lol! I also added a 120w Phillips grow bulb above her with the 1000w LED still in full spectrum mode. I still plan to carry this through the drying process and yes I will also put it through the curing process as well because well; I want to learn to be patient and finish what I start. I have learned so much from all you growers on GrowDiaries that it would be a slap in the face to you all if I fall short of what you all taught me. I will grow again; I will get better at it; and YOU will see the fruits of YOUR teaching.

*UPDATE* 5/14/20 So I did harvest today like I said I would and posted pics in with week 12 because the buds are drying and I can't answer some the questions under the harvest tab but I promise when drying and curing is done I will update the harvest tab. I plan 7-10 days for dry and 6-8 weeks for cure.👍
*UPDATE* 5/23/20 So it's been 9 days since harvest. I wont be offering much detail to the updates because of the details I can give when I tap the harvest tab but im saving that for after the cure. I'm keeping the jarred weed @ 60-63% rh. I did taste test and all I will say at this time I'm not impressed yet with taste and smell and I hope changes come over time being jarred otherwise I lose any bragging rights lol!
*SUMMERY* First I wanna say thank you to any followers and I'm honored to have had 324 peeps watching this grow. So this bagseed was for me a very hard girl to raise, but I also kind of used her for most of my education purposes. Because of this she was stunted and dwarfed and produced very very little to nothing. GrowDiaries had a way of preparing me to get serious and making way for a whole new grow that will blow MY mind! Speaking of whole new grow stay tuned for my second grow; while soil was my first grow I will be changing to 100% Coco and learning how to fertigate and mainline.
Over all this strain being unknown was definitely Indica dom and had her low profile and extremely tight nodes. I believe somewhere between week 5 and 7 is where all things went wrong. Her leaves were like elephant ears and extremely dark green leaves. I trained her too late and that didn't help. Her high is relaxing but not couch lock and talk about munchies?? OMG I ate everything I could and then some lol. Smell seems to come out more when a bud is opened up. I get a faint fruit smell with flowers. Taste is still like eating bark off a tree lol! Real earthy with undertones of herbs. It helps my pain an when the night is over I sleep good
@SmokinTrees, Google PAR value on led lights. In your paperwork or you can Google your lights model number it will let you know it's value. With LED lights that's how much distance from light to plant with max values. Every LED is different so check yours and then adjust. Mine was low so I had to keep the lights low. Also look into a bottle of blackstrap molasses. It feeds the soil. Once a week. Add 1-2 teaspoons

Heyas, just caught up to your grow. I'm another old-timer. You gotta love retirement. The biggest thing I learned as a beginner was patience. Your plant looks fine. The red on the stem isn't necessarily bad, and >35% humidity is not going to kill your plants. That was a great idea turning both parts of your lights on at the same time. I had similar lights and my plants did much better when both bloom and veg were on. If your data is correct, you have some heat issues that could be slowing growth. Low temps shouldn't kill your plants, but it really slows their metabolism. That also means fewer waterings and fewer feedings. Otherwise, roll a phat one, watch some reputable u-tube videos and watch the grass grow!
@Quexos, Your right man thanks after I cleaned my filter I removed the humidifier all together and have come to realize that I dont even need it. The tent stays now at about 35-42% and I am happy with that . If you look at pic day 34 that was 2 days after I had taken the humidifier out. Shes growing like crazy now! 👍

Hey cut your nutes in half. Your growth is stunted. Should be 24-48 inches depending on the strain at 7 weeks. Give it a good flush then cut your nutes in half at a minimum.
@GutterHoe, When I first started this lady she was germinated and grown for first 3 weeks in a closet with
no ventilation
no exhaust
no humidifier
2 philips 120w grow bulbs
no heater
for 3 weeks
It wasnt until AFTER those 3 weeks that I bought the tent and all other contents for the tent. SO this list of how you DO NOT grow weed im sure is why she is so stunted and short but she is very thick stems. She is just now in her 8th week and it looks like shes wanting and starting to stretch but still a little slow. I have all the environmental resources in working order all the way down to 6.5-6.8 ph 35-42% humidity and 72-76 on the temperature and plenty of air circulation throughout. Right now I am at the point to blame the LED I have. Something is not working and just not sure what. HOWEVER; I also do not know the genetics of this seed nor strain for that matter and I have no idea how long it has been around or how much it was handled before it got to me. A guy I worked with a year ago gave me these seeds and he had no idea of strain or genetics either. I asked if they were female and he simply said "all my seeds are female" lol lol OH!! and as you can tell he also said that his strain of choice to smoke was Indica which we can all tell by the leaves on her! Take a look at pic day 49 and then take a look at day 50. Seems to me shes growing and I look at her everyday 10 times a day
@GutterHoe, Gutter you may have misunderstood that my last pics BEFORE watering I had transplanted this girl in a mix of soil, coco, worm castings and perlite and ONLY gave her a little PH'd water. She has NOT had ANY nutes since transplant. So I really got confused about flushing nutes and salts that she never even had due to a clean transplant. Believe it or not Gutter this girl has only had nutes ONCE since she grew from seed and that was somewhere in the 4th week. If anything I think she was STARVING for nutes.
-how is the situation putting the Exhaust into room ? i was thinking doing that too, dont know what to expect
-you may wanna get the other plant in the cup lil closer to the light so it stop streaching

@Germano, yea Germano thnx I put the cup on top of soil of other plant right next to it. Your right it looked like it was ready to stretch. Venting into same room so far not bad but im 1st time new to this so I dont really know the diff anyway. Being in Michigan I run house heater @ 73F auto not constant. I do have option to open closet door take light out and vent in attic but its apartment building not sure if I should go that far but I can smell someone elses grow downstairs lol. So share what u think?
Wk 4 Day 27 I was smoking some Candyland strain I had bought from a dispensary and as I broke the nug open a seed popped out? And then another? and then another? I was under the impression there products were clean of seeds. Anyway I now have 3 beans of Candyland ( Sativa Dominate Grand Daddy Purple crossed with Platinum Cookies) so I germinated 1 of them couple days ago and got a nice tap root and put it in 1 gal Root Pot and FF Happy Frog soil today. My other plant still looks healthy to me but it has a lot of red in the stems. Deficiency? Or strain related? I know chances are high it becomes a male and I will pluck it and have backup.
@SmokinTrees, Well..dispensaries don't really disclose whether it was from feminised seeds, regular seeds, or even auto seeds...
If you find a seed (or 3) in something you paid for, you should actually complain, because seeds weigh heavy and you paid good money for smokable substance....but, on the other hand, it could turn out to be a girl, but always bear in mind, even if it's a female, it has hermaphroditic tendencies bred into it, so for the first couple of weeks of flowering her, you gotta keep an eye out for pollen sacs forming and clip them away before they can impregnate your flowers. If there is a particular branch that is popping the male flowers (grape cluster looking things) then just remove that whole branch..not worth policing it every day..
Wk 4 Day 25. Today I made a decision that my led light is just not strong enough with just veg switch on so I turned bloom switch on. Both switches are on now maybe I just need to run full spectrum from seed to harvest??? Anyone else have thoughts about this??? Please let me know
@SmokinTrees, autos love an 18/6 full spectrum from seed. It will boom. Check ph constantly. It's the usual culprit if the grow slows down. Also avoid that transplanting brother. It causes shock that slows growth and could possibly shock it enough to hermie. Start in a 5 gallon pot or higher.
Wk 5 DAY 31 looking very healthy but leaves feel dry almost like felt. Day 32 1 week after last watering I gave my plant 2 Litres of water with. 2tsp of Grow Big. PH in food was 6.3 and runoff PH was 6.1 with soil temp at 68F.
Wk 4 Day 28 nothing to report all is ok temps are good RH is good airflow through tent is good. New growth at nodes look good. Just wondering about the red stems.
Wk4 Day 23. Once again I'm thinking this girl should be much fuller and bigger by now. Very slow growth? Very hard to keep conditions in tent perfect during winter today it is only highs 1F and lows -1F how the hell do I compete with those temps lol. New leaves still showing up every couple days so shes growing but slowly.
