Gorilla Glue Auto aka= Senior Bae got the axe on 2/3/17 78 Days from Seed. Yield = 4.32 oz
2nd Gorilla Glue Auto aka= Mary Jane Doe got the axe on 2/8/17 83 Days from Seed. Yield= 3.84 oz
Both Gorilla Glue (and all my plants for that matter) have been chopped, dryed, and jarred. The Gorilla Glues have not been sampled yet. 8.16 Ounces was the complete dry yield for these 2 plants. Its been a blast and will be back growing soon after a short break = )0
@Sumgrower420, @Tenacious_Trichomes, @TaNg,
Hey gents was trying to determine when to start the final flushing of this plant. I read a bunch of internet info but I don't think I'm experienced enough to make that call. Thoughts?
Trichome shots (No clue why these specifcally wont post here)
http://imgur.com/a/9GSQH
@PsyGrowSilly, unusually start at around day 60 (average...again, strain dependent). But when about half the pistils have receeded and changed colour, I will begin a 10-14 day flush. I don't usually check trichs (unless a sativa strain) for trichs. The plants usually show when they are done producing (new pistils have stopped and swelling has also slowed). Hope this helps bro...
@Sumgrower420, @Tenacious_Trichomes
Thanks for chiming in gents! Its day 54 and nerves are finally getting to me trying to not mess up ha ha. Fast Buds says "Our rendition of Girl Scout Cookies is feminized and finishes in approximately 55 to 63 days"
Between what you guys say it sounds like maybe a little more food before going to straight water. Thanks for the opinions guys. Means alot!
Week 2 Update
-------------------
I learned alot in week 2 about water quality. I have extremely hard water that goes through a softner. PPM of my softened water was over 400 ppm from the tap and I'm sure the hefty sodium bath they were taking with the nutes was murder for OG Elizabeth combined with some temperature issues. I dont have earlier photos but all the girls suffered.
As a temporary fix I purchased this "Zero Water" Pitcher from Target and am watering with that. The plants responded amazing to this and have done a complete 360 in terms of color and growth.
"Mary Jane Doe" was the one that germinated funny and slowly grew out to whats in the photo. Shes much smaller in comparison to the vigorous plants but gonna let her continue for a while.
"Elizabeth OG" RIP : ( She never even had a chance.
Week 3 Update
----------------------
My Girlscout Cookie (Queen Julian) is doing amazing. Shes a tiny bush at this point and has fan leaves that rival my hand size.
My vigorous Gorilla Glue (Senior Bae) is doing good but seems to be getting a little Nitrogen Toxic. My nutes change in week 4 so I'm not going to do anything drastic unless it seems to progress.
Then there is the other Gorilla Glue (Mary Jane Doe). She is tiny but I'm gonna let her keep on going.
Overall solid veg week with smells starting and pistils showing. Onto week 4 = )
I haven't quite figured out the PM system here so sorry to bug you on here again, but I'm about ready to pull the trigger on everything.
I've decided to go with LEDs instead of HIDs for now! I found a Roleadro 800W COB LED that outputs actual ~400W, and figured this would be good for my 4" x 2" space, but wanted to get your thoughts on it.
Hi, this is a nice plant u have ther!!! ;) nice grow man!
I have a 120x120x200 and i want to grow 5 six shooter under 600w hps. Soil all mix , root juice biogrow biobloom and top max just by lettin em grow in 20l pots ?. Could i get at least 100g or 200g per plant ? If not how can get this kind of amount ?
@bigbubsofcheese, thanks for the advices bro i'ma keep that in mind 👌.
I checked your diaries and.. having 990g dry in a 1,20 thats just awesome ;) id like to have a smoke on it 😆beautiful work you've done . I still didnt start mine but it should be for soon ill tag u up when i do mate peace 👊
@Green69, no it not your pot size. say 10lt 3 month cyc in to finish you would need 6 month for 20lt. now a plant in soil grows at 35w a wk min. so you veg 8 wks flower 8wk 16wk cycle =560w of light the plant has used. so if you ran 20lt you would run out of light 4mths in with 2 months to go. check out the grow boss. i just pulled 990g 1.2m 9 plants 110g each not inc popcorn 4 cheese 2.5gpw 10lt pots less is more
@Green69,
Hey Bro. Its hard to say really. Sounds like you have the right idea for the light and space. Temps/Humidity and daily care all come in to play as well as feeding them right. My wild guess somewhere between 80g - 150g per plant. Prove me wrong and get more 👊
Hey there, this looks fantastic! I'm new here and to growing in general, and since your set-up looks so similar to what I was looking for, I was hoping you'd be able to provide some insight.
I'm planning on a 4-plant hydroponic grow for my first time, and I noticed you used only fluorescent lights for both the vegetative and flowering states. I had planned on using HIDs just because that seems to be the industry standard, but because this is going to be a basement grow with no adequate venting to the outdoors, it would be preferable if I could just use Fluorescents so I can avoid having to set up venting and use regular fans instead.
I'm personally not seeing any difference between your grow and others' using HIDs, in fact I think the GSC and GG look beautiful! Am I missing something here with the whole CFL vs HID thing?
@PsyGrowSilly, @Tenacious_Trichomes That was way more information than I was expecting, that was awesome! I will definitely be reaching out in the near future, thank you guys so much in advance.
@terpenes,
Hey bro and welcome to the community! I did in fact veg and flower with an 8 bulb t5 setup (fluros). Its hard finding info out there on flowering with t5's specifically and honestly no one would really recommend flowering with them. Over 400 watts with them was extremely inefficient. I did manage to get 2.5 oz out of one plant but it clocked in at about .17 grams per watt. Any HID regardless of cost would have more than doubled the yield on that. When I decided to go in all fluro I was in the same boat not knowing what to expect with my environment (also a basement) and didn't want to go crazy on costs for cooling out of the gate etc.
With that said people use regular cfl's all the time and even flower with them on a budget. Defiantly doable!😃
A couple of issues I'll highlight with my setup. I went in with no active cooling at first. I had to open every flap on my tent and that kept my temps in the low 80's. Not Perfect but it was working. The biggest issue is when flowering starts to take off and the plants have a bit of size is the humidity. It will skyrocket and give you very high chances of mold. I started to hit humidity in the upper 70s low 80s. Defiantly would have got mold with those conditions. 200cfm of air took temps/humidity of 80 degrees / 75% humidity to around 72 degrees 50% humidity.
The other issue will depend for you but the odor WILL be an issue. Before I installed my filter/fan the whole house smelled. After the fan/filter was put in you can only smell it while inside your tent. Amazing really haha.
As for the size of my plants I chalk some of it up to 5 gallon pots giving alot of root room. The other part is I'm still throwing 400 watts at it. It just not a very efficient 400 watts.
Also for what its worth I plan on moving to a HID next grow and I will not be venting outside. I will continue to vent it to the other end of the basement. No long ducts or anything crazy just outta the tent pointing at the other end of the basement.
With all that said my personal recommendation if you can go with a HID do it. If yield isn't a super big concern and even bud/size appearance to an extent cfl's and fluros are defiantly an option. In either case I think you will most likely need an inline fan of some sort to exchange the air.
Let me know what you go with and feel free to reach out if you need anything at all. I had a crap ton of questions going into this. Follow @Sumgrower420 and @Tenacious_Trichomes also. They have different environments but are great guys that wouldn't mind answering questions as well!
Have a great night!
Hey bro, congrats on getting her finished up. She looks really strong 💪 id say for your firdt grow your well on your way!!! Keep it up improvement is the only possible thing from here. ✌️ growers love!!!!🌱🍁💨
@Sumgrower420,
Man you have no clue how good it felt to pop on and see that! Made my entire day! Thanks for the congrats!👍👍
@FAST_BUDS,
Thanks for throwing my girl up on instagram!! Small clarification though its actually girl scout cookies you guys have it hashtaged Gorilla Glue 😛
@PsyGrowSilly, thanks man, bro.....big moves your pics are on Fast Buds Instagram!!! That's some good stuff there. CONGRATS 💪😎💪
✌️ BE THE JOURNEY!! GROWERS LOVE🌱🍁💨
@EveryGrow,
Hey dude thanks for the comment! That is actually my T5 fixtures reflector. The 2nd picture on the manufactures site gives a pretty good photo of a bulb nested up in it.

I'm having a problem with calmag too. Almost everyone of mine had a deficiency using AN calmag. I switched and all is well now but my top leaves never recovered.
@Jersyn,
Took a look at your pics and your cal mag issue looked identical to mine. Mine looked abit rougher near end because I scorched the top into the light around xmas. With my other 2 plants I recently switched to adding cal mag to water first like the bottle directions said. Giving her a go and see if it seems to help!
So my experience of when to start flushing is typically week 8. Hard to say though, it's always strain dependent. What day are you on currently? I usually like to give a solid flush for atleast 10 days, up to two weeks. I base when to start based of tricomes of course. How long is the strain supposed to run? What does fast buds say the run time is on the strain?
