Will go with a mix of biozbizz and Advanced Nutrients nutes.
switching back to a 10 liter air-pot as that seem to work way better.
- looks like the Double Grape is a mutant, very strange and slow growth. those mutants really love me haha. lets see how she turns out
upgrated my exhaust!
so the setup will be:
– 120x120x200cm garden hypro tent
– 1x Grow Northern Telos 0008 Led 240w
– 1 x Phresh Hyper Fan Silent 150mm with controler
– 1x Bull filter 150mm
– 4x garden hypro clip fans ( silent as hell)
– 1x 10 liter Air-Pot
– plagron light mix soil
– biobizz grow, bio bloom, acti-vera, Canna rhizotonic, Voodoo Juice, Sensizym, Big Bud, Carboload, Overdrive.
i really thought she was gonna become a very ugly mutant 😂 but i think she is growing out of it. new leaves are looking ok. growth is a little slow but she is about to take off. lets see how it goes
- she started preflowering on day 20.
- she sure is funny little girl, she acts like she is in the desert were its 40Celicius haha, so i'm not sure why she is showing heat stress signs, i was thinking she maybe didn't like the fan blowing above her so i pointed it up a little. i'm not really concerned about it though. atleast she is not a mutant anymore.
- ready for stretch 💪
-she is doing really good, nice compact lady so far.
- tied her branches open and removed 2 more fan leaves, she really like it, they spread up imediatly.
- not much else to say
- still preflowering, i guess she is taking her time, she did double in size sinds last week so i'm expecting to see buds soon.
- not much else to say, she is doing her thing, nice and healty, she is just a little slow, but thats oke
- oke so as you can see i'm all off a suddon having some promblems with her, similar as with the blue dream 😕. i really think the biobizz works best in there own soil and do not match with the plagron light mix. i'll flush her tomorow and start her on advanced nutes. i'm not to worried about it as she always in week 8 tomorow
- already getting super fosty 😍
stay tuned
- so as ya'll may know i flushed her with 20liter water and switched to advanced nutes. not sure if it worked as she is getting lighter every day. but she sure is budding up nice 👌
- super super super frosty, amazing!
- a real sweet grapey smell
- she should be really swell up now so stay tuned 😋
- still having loads of problems so i flushed her again. this time with 50 liter of PH 6.0 water, after flushing her with that 50 liter my ph was still 7.0. it doesn't matter how many water i flush true ph stays the same.... i just give up at this moment, she is almost done anyway.😫 will start flush this week, i'm just really disapointed 😳
- flushed for 7 days, showing out some beautifull colors and suuuuper frosty!
- all pics are from right before/during/after harvest on day 70
- now drying in the carboard box for about 7 to 10 days
- as usual the harvest report will be up in 10 to 14 days
stay tuned
* harvest: day 70
* Appearance: small buds but very FROSTY and dense. hard as a rock
* Bud density: 8,5/10
* Aroma : this is just.... wauw i'm in love with this aroma, smells exactly like sweet blue grapes
* Taste : 1 word: amazing! Like smoking grapes, super sweet and grapey
* Potency : 9/10
* Kind of high: very very veeeery strong, couch lock for sure, if you smoke more you go night night hahaha
* Colour of thrichs at time of harvest: 15% amber 85% milky
* Drying time: 8 days in my dry box, now in the jar for 7 days
* Length of buzz: 3-4 hours
* Good comments: she was a beauty to grow, easy to grow and frosty as hell, amazing smell and taste. I can even say that even though she is not fully cured yet, this is a keeper, will grow her again and again and again
* bad comments: not a single thing! Maybe that sinds it's so good a little more yield would of been nice, but hey i had PH issues so lets see when i'll run her again
Looks good man. Have you grown this strain before? I've just chopped. I had PH issues around week 7 and felt like the buds never really swelled, but it actually looked similar to yours. Nice FROSTY buds, but no massive colas. I wonder if that's common with this strain. My second seed never grew any true leaves so that was disappointing because I definitely want to run this strain again. Frosts up every time.
@ForestGreen, well mate you might be right about the ph meter, it was the cheapest one on amazon, i'm thinking of buying a new one because thats the only thing i could of why i'm not getting it solved
@GardenOfHerbs, that's strange. What do you think's causing your ph issues? I was pretty sure mine was just a dodgy ph pen and I'd been PHing down too far. I also had really low ph so it sounds like you've got the opposite problem. It sucks I know because I was looking forward to this strain but hopefully it will pull through. The colas on mine just looked the same as yours, but they did bulk up a tiny bit after flushing. I found the trichomes changed really quickly towards the end too.
@ForestGreen, hey mate, it's the first time i grow this strain. i'm having massive ph problems also and have the feeling the buds are totaly not swelling. i flushed her yesterday with FIFTY liter of ph 6.0 water and after that my run off was still 7.0...... i'm super disapointed as i really fucked up. at the moment she looks really bad. sinds you are having same issues i guess its the strain?
Do you think the buds got any bigger in the end? Mine didn't, but they're all so covered in crystals that even the leaf has amazing bag appeal. Has a pretty solid kick to it as well.
@ForestGreen, i don't think they swelled much, maybe a little bit, but it's amazing how frosty it is, and it smells soooooo good, can not wait till she is dry 😍
She may not have the girth you wanted, but they are still some beautiful looking nugs! Plagron Light-Mix is seeming to give quite a few growers problems near end of flowering. Seems like you did the best you could, so call that a win man 👌
@BudKingsGrow, ow really? i didn't know that there were more growers having probs, i'm definitly done with that soil and orderd biobizz light mix again, never had problems with there soil 👊
Hey Man! Appreciate your REAL GD here... Not just the good! I wonder if BioBizz's Light-Mix Substrate which utilizes only Baltic Peat vs. Plagron which utilizes a few different varieties of Peat is making the difference? What kind of PPM are you getting on drainage runoff? I use BioBizz Light-Mix and Nutes on most of my grows and find that staying on the light sides of nutrient schedule leads to safest results. I wish I was skilled enough to really dial in my Nutes to maximum uptake by my plant, but Im also fairly content being where Im at now lol! One day I will upgrade my entire Grow Setup and get as deep into this amazing plant as growers like @DabCrab and @CBD_Sweden are 😀
@GardenOfHerbs, That's so very strange! A high PH like that and very low PPM should not be burning your plants! It is possible though that it's still burn from nitrogen... During nitrogen uptake the plant produces ammonia which causes medium to become alkaline, so your high 7.4 PH might be due to this reaction.
I'm actually thinking about trying a run of pure Coco-Mix... From my research, Coco seems to be much more forgiving when it comes to Nute issues. Easily flushing/or adding more Nutes with Coco produces quicker results on plant and creates less stress. But I've never tried Coco, so my knowledge is pure speculation.
@BudKingsGrow, thanks for the compliment 😊wow mate, i didn't even know about the peat, you could be right about that! i always used Biobizz butes with there light mix soil, but sinds i wanted to try Advanced Nutrients i was told it worked better with plagron light mix soil. i kinda thought i would work fine with biobizz, i'm still strugling with nutes to be honest im contantly burning them (i think) or i tend to underfeed.
never ever had al these problems when i just used the full biobizz line with their soil.
so i flushed her and the ph was way to high. 7.4 and the ppm was only 370 so it's confusing. i agree with you that keeping the dose of biobizz low is the best way to go. especialy the bio grow as is has a lot of nitrogen, in flower i never went above 1ml per liter.
you are doing an amazing job btw. keep it up! 👊
Funny how things work out. You have to admit that's weird. But it's on .... go .... double grape same time.
I'm really amazed, how did this happen ? 👊 Good Luck Homie.😎
Killing it GOA!!!! I love the looks of this girl already. I've been looking at this strain on their website for a while. Almost makes me want to grow an auto. Great work and let the growing community hear your womanly roar!!!!!
I really like the minty blue color of the buds! I really want to grow this one. It’s so frosty. Sweet and grapey sounds delicious. Great work as always! I will be curious about your opinion of AN vs Biobizz.
