Well this is my second auto grow and this time I am growing the plant in living soil concentrates made by NATURE'S LIVING SOIL. I mixed 1 pound of living soil concentrates into a 5 gallon fabric pot and mixed the soil really well. I will not add any nutrients since it's already in the soil. All I will be doing from seed to harvest is giving it ph water at 6.5.
The light schedule is 18 hours of light on and 6 hours of no light.
Can't wait to see how this turns out.

What a amazing week for me guys. I did a little changes in my grow. I recieved my MARSHYDRO ts600 led light for my VIVOSUN 3x3x6 tent. This is my first indoor grow that I am doing and my first time ever buying indoors equipment. Lol. I love the outdoors grow but I cant due to the weather so I had to buy these things. I know this auto grow is going to be a lot better from my last auto grow. If you guys have any recommendations please let know. If there is something that I can do to make my grow set up better or things of that nature please let me know.

What a great week. I am impressed with the lil Marshydro TS600 light. The temperature has been a steady 75 but at times it fluctuates between 73 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I have just been feeding the plant with ph water between 6.0 and 6.8. I usually have it ph at 6.5. I use tap water but I do neutralize the chlorine using vitamin c powder. Or you can use lemons to neutralize the chlorine but it does drop the ph in the water. Honestly that's how I bring the ph down instead of using the ph chemicals. The brown/orange that you see in the pics is from the cinnamon that I use to help maintain pest(I dont have any but it's more of a preventative solution). The big plus to using cinnamon from my experience is that it also help promote/ stimulate more roots. Just a old school way of things naturally. Hopefully within the next week the plant will get a lot bigger.

This was a great week. February 18 2020 made it 21 days from seed. On the 25 of February it will be 28 days from seed. Its growing really well. I have been giving her PH water at 6.7( well around 6.5 to 6.8) the water & chlorine is neutralize with lemons. I also add molasses into the PH water ass well. This whole week I have had to feed her a lot more. I give her half a gallon of water every 3 days. There has not been any runoff and honestly I dont want to have a lot of runoff since I am using living soil.

Week 5 has been going really well. Day 35 from seed and this auto chocolate skunk is doing well. So far I am liking how NATURE'S LIVING SOIL is working out. Just as it advertises. All I have been doing is just giving her 1 gallon of PH water [6.5 - 6.8] with 1/8 of a cup of molasses every 2 to 3 days. I really haven't had much run off. Only twice that I can remember of.
The lighting schedule has remained the 18 hour on and 6 hours off. During the vegetative stage I try to keep the light distance between 24 and 18 inches and during flower I will keep the light distance between 18 to 12 inches.
As for the light well I am loving the MARSHYDRO TS600. This little compact led full spectrum sun-like light is really impressive. Its perfect for a 2x2 tent but I have mines in a 3x3 tent. As far as coverage for vegetative stage it is perfect but the instructions and the package guide said that for flower the light will cover a 2x2 distance so we will see how the light will do in the flowering stage. I am very pleased with the MARSHYDRO TS600 led light and I will buy more in the future. Maybe I'll get the MARSHYDRO TS1000 for the 3x3 tent. I am also experimenting with making Co2 with some bottles, sugar, yeast, and warm water but I've only been doing this for 3 days so it's still early to tell if its making a difference. I will keep this experiment going for 3 weeks. If it works I will continue the Co2 experiment and if I don't notice a difference I will stop the Co2 experiment. I also started to L.S.T the chocolate skunk so I hope I get a good amount of some high thc bud. Lol

It's been a very long and busy week for me and I have not been able to be with the plant like I wanted to. The auto is doing really good. It is growing at a crazy rate pretty impressive for a auto. Then again I have only grown 1 auto but I do have experience with photo periods plants. I am a little concerned about the defoliation. Like maybe I took too many leaves off and that it could stunt the auto grow. Either by not producing as much or something of that nature. For those who have a lot of experience with autoflower can you let me know if too much defoliation can stunt your auto. As in low bud grow or something like that. It has not started to flower yet but it does have a good smell. A smell like a skunk. The Co2 homemade system seems to be working but I do need to buy the right tools to make sure it works. Grow diaries family let me know if I can do something better

I am going on week 7 on this autoflower and it still has not flowered yet. This is really tripping me out because I am new to growing autos but not new to growing photo periods so having this happen is weird. At first I thought it could be a photo period but I don't think that could be the problem. Maybe it's too much nitrogen that can be stopping it from flowering, the genetic, maybe because I defloliated the auto. For those of you who have a lot of experience with autoflowers can please let me know what is going on.
There's so many things that can be wrong and why the auto has not flowered yet on week 7.
I have been giving her the same PH water at 6.5 with 2 tablespoons of molasses but I only gave her PH water (6.5) with molasses on day 43 and the other days it has just been PH water without any molasses because I noticed some of the fan leaves tip turning yellowish.
Well I will keep on documenting the auto to see what happens but if you guys have any ideas on what's going on please comment below.

So far its is going ok. The plant has been showing a lot of signs of deficiency. So I have added some calmag with ph water at 6.5.
The run off was high at 7.5 so I worked on that. The plant has been growing a lot more. New growth everywhere but it does come with deficiency as well. I will be switching the light cycle within a week or so to 12 hr light cycle.
Live, learn, & grow.

Still no flower so it is what it is. There's a lot of reason for that. Too much to list. I had to give her some top dressing nutrients. I put 3 tbl spoons of flower and bud bloom by dr earth. And I also added 2 tbl spoons of dr earth all purpose for the 5 gallon pot. I have put her out side this week for 2 days but I am still having issues. Indoors grow is difficult for me but the learning experience I am getting is priceless. I hope to keep her alive and maybe on week 10 I can switch the light cycle to 12 12.

Satisfying week with this chocolate skunk. It's definitely not a autoflower. Then again this is my second autoflower grow but it has been 10 weeks and it's still in a vegetative state. After checking the run off and keeping up with the soil ph there has been big difference in the plant. I still use the molasses since it does have calcium, magnesium, and iron just 2% thou. I think I will use cal-mag+ on my next grow with the dr earth's organic top dressing nutrients. Hopefully things will go smoothly and I tip my hat off to the indoor growers.

It's been a nice and smooth week. I did switch the light cycle to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness since week 10 and now at week 11 there are pre flower sites all over 😀
I hope to get a decent amount of flowers from this girl. I also cleaned the plant from the bottom and took off the small stems that were never going to reach the top. I kept the smaller stems to see if I can keep them as clones. Cant wait till next week to see how much it has put on. Still dealing with some deficiencies but not as bad as before. I'm loving the learning experience with this plant.

So far so go. After changing the light cycle the plant started to flower and it's looking really nice.
The bud are starting to stand out now and it seems like it will give me more than a oz. The last auto I grew ended up producing 30 grams after it was harvested. I still wish the would of been a autoflower as I presumed but things happen and we need to just make the best out of it. I can not wait till I actually smoke this baby.

This week has been a great week with the chocolate skunk. I have not had any issues with the flower other than finding out it was not a autoflower. I did have to add dr. earth fertilizer to deal with the deficiencies that were occurring due to me prepping the living soil to accommodate autoflower plants and not photo periods plants.
It seems like the chocolate skunk will have a lot of small buds but that's just my assumption by the way its looking now. Just my opinion. I hope around week 16 the flower will fill out a lot more.
I actually like growing this strain I just wish the chocolate skunk would of been a autoflower. I did order the seed from a seed bank but I think it was just a honest mixup. I have 4 seeds left but I think I'm going to put those outdoors since they are photo periods seeds.

Week 14 has been amazing.. I love how the plants is starting to fill out with the buds.
I have just been giving the plant PH water at 6.5 every 3 days( once a week when I water I do add molasses but not every time I water)
The plant hasn't grown anymore so now I am hoping that the plant will produce nice buds.
I haven't had any real issues for some weeks now and that's good for me. Lol
I wonder if the plant will be ready by week 18 or 19.
For growing the chocolate skunk my first time I think i am doing a great job and I'm definitely growing this again but i will do it outdoors.
Has anyone grown this strain before and if you have how many week of flowering does this strain need. I was thinking anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks?
Any advice growmies
Great week this has been. The buds are noticeable now and she has stopped stretching. The smell is lovely and the trichomes are looking nice but still really clear. I have been giving her just ph water at 6.5 three times a week and once every two weeks I give her 6.5 ph water with molasses to help with the trichomes.
Its has been hot in the area I am so my temperature has been at 80 to 85 F at most.
Humidity has not been much of a issue. I usually keep it around 40 to 55 relative humidity.

Well where do we start... this has been a very very hot week outside and that has raised the heat in the house that lead to some heat issues but im working on it. Some nutrients issues as well; other than that it's going well
I have been checking the trichomes and they are clear. I am going to harvest when 70% are milkiy color & 30% a amber color.
I watered 4 times this week but I think that wasn't enough so this week depending on the heat I'll water more

This chocolate skunk is growing nice. The buds are putting on weight and the smell is amazing. The trichomes are clear well 90% clear. I will give the plant a couple of weeks b4 I harvest. I like to harvest when the trichomes are 70% milky and 30% a amber color. So far everything seems to be going great.

Week 18 went well. Constantly giving her RO water (6.5 ph) every other day and once every 2 weeks I feed the pool plant RO water with molasses. I have been checking the trichomes evey other day and they are 40% clear and 60% milky. I am going for 70% milky and 30% amber color trichomes so I'll start the flushing process within 2 days. Since I have my flower in soil I need to flush 2 weeks before harvest which is why I'll start flushing my plant writhing 2 days.
Hopefully next week I'll have way better pics for you all

Well GD it looks like my grow is finally coming to a end. I am going to to harvest the plant on june 13th. From today June 11th till June 13th I will keep the plant in darkness. I actually want to see for myself if it produces more trichomes and what not.
I am hoping to get at least 3 ounces (fingers crossed lol) but it not it's ok.
Once I cut the plant down I will dry for a minimum of 10 days but it's really hot where I am at so I will try my best for the 10 day time frame.
The next time I will post on here again will be right before I get to the curing process or just maybe after the curing process. I do want to cure for at least 4 weeks . I actually like the taste better after 4 weeks instead of the 2 or 3 week curing process.
Well guys I hope you enjoyed this grow as much as I did. Hopefully the next seeds I order of this strain doesn't get mixed up again.
This strain & seeds were supposed to be autoflowers but instead they were photo periods lol
Oh man I freaking love this strain. Chocolate skunk is a very easy strain to grow that was resistant to pests. This chocolate skunk was supposed to be a autoflower but apparently it was a photo period so that threw a lot of things off during the grow. From the way I mixed the living soil to the time frame of the plant. After 10 weeks of vegetation I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and after a week I started to notice the plant flowering. I harvested the plant on 06/13/2020. Before I harvested I did leave the plant in darkness for 48 hrs before I harvest her. Just something I like to do to my indoor grows.
The total wet weight of the harvest plant was 400 grams. That's with the stems and all. I did let the plant hang and dry for 8 days and then I did a try trim on the bud before I removed them from the stems. The dry weight of the buds came out to he 120 grams of dry bud off the stems before I put them in jars to cure. 6/21/2020 was the day i started the curing process. I want to cure for at least 3 weeks but more than likely I will cure for 4 weeks.
This is a very good plant to grow and I am going to grow this again. I hope you guys liked this grow and I appreciate all the luv and likes from y'all. Big thanks to all who helped out with my question and to those that showed support.
