First time growing a CBD strain, I wasn't to fond on the lack of genetics information, Asia CBD is pretty vague. I think it was part of the RQS Solomatic breeding, but the the lab results are so impressing that I had to try it out.
Medium will be coco perlite with Remo Nutrients. Lights are 2x blurple Maxsisun 135w with integrated timer and both spectrum are electronically dimmable in a 36x20x62 tent.
Sprouted on November 6th after 5 days in a Jiffy pellet. She is temporary under 2 CFL bulbs with a Bruce Banner.
She started putting this sad face @ week 3. Changed the watering to once every 2 days, letting the coco perlite get "dry", but no improvement. She hasn't very slow down either.
Flipped the light to 12-12 for 2 days but had trouble with the automatic run off system so put them back to 18-6. Didn't seems to stress them too much.
Purple pistils started showing up, thought it was some kind of light stress since I turned the power up to 100% on both lamp. Leaves were curling up a bit.
Still fighting the borderline N toxicity. I started feeding her some epsum salt since my calmag is 3-0-0 and I'm growing in coco perlite. She is now developing a sweet tangerine scent with ginger undertone, very pleasing and surprising. Starting to think about cloning her and starting a other one from seed to compare with.
She started showing some purple on the upper leaves and buds at the beginning of week 5. I turned the lights output up by 5% and I think she's suffering from some kind of early copper deficiency from light stress.
Coco's run off spiked at 1400-1500 EC from the epsom salt I used last week and it burned the tips, so had to flush her down. Both Bruce Banner she's sharing the tent with aren't showing any nutes burn sign. She's always been that little picky b* throughout the grow, but always been so rewarding at the same time.
Smell and taste like strawberry stardust with a skunky undertone, very pleasant aroma. Very strong medical and pain killer, wish I could get this thing tested for cannabinoids content. Highly recommended and rewarding, although she's been very picky to grow.
