HARVEST TIME! - 64 days at 12/12 So I had three different strains growing in the same tent and in the same hydro setup and I divided my whole setup with three to give little bit more accurate info about every strain in the tent. SETUP Lights: 2xCREE CXB3590 50W 1x240W Quantum board with far red, UR and IR 2x120W Quantum board with far red Tent Sinowell 60cm x 120cm x 210cm Hydro DIY Drip/Ebb & Flood with 90l water reservoir and 60l root zone filled with hydroton This second grow in the books was a whole lotta easier than the first. I used pure salts as nutrients and whole lotta additives from different companies and I only changed the water from the rez when I started flushing the girls. I did not adjust the pH or anything else between the topping of the rez. It was so stable all the time that it kinda makes me laugh how good it was! The whole growing cycle I only topped the reservoir with fresh water, nutrients and additives and tried to understand what nutrients was eaten by the plants and top accordingly. I also tested the phosphorus myth from Advanced Nutrients (https://issuu.com/advancednutrients/docs/advanced_nutrients_magalog_2017/137) and I tried to keep my phosphorus level under 60PPM at all times and only used mycorhizzae to provide the needed phosphorus. I did not run in to any major problems with these girls and they looked happy the whole time and my ec was 1.5-3.5 the whole time but still no burn or def/tox nute burn, nothing. I also used an CO2 bottle and controller and tried to maintain >1300PPM CO2 levels the whole floering cycle while my temps were at 28-30 all the time.

Grow Questions

Can someone tell me what is this? I think the reason is that my nutrients are not balanced but I have no clue what deficiency this is, It could be so much easier to know the reason for this if I know what this is. pH pretty stable 5.8 Ec 1.5. Thanks!

Seedlings can usually thrive with nothing but water, air and sunlight. although you have gone very light.. it still could be too much.. Plaquedgardens is most likely correct.

I ditched the idea of fully working bioponic system 'cos I just don't have the time and interest to build and learn to work that system. I decided to just go with great white and some food for bacteria and natural plant hormones and as little adjusting as I can so the beneficials can do their job and help my girls to grow! ½bioponic atleast

@Cutery, Oh man you're being to nice now! 😂 You will have the same kind of girls that I do if you dedicate to it and mine are just good but not excellent 😅 Some basic knowledge that I had comes from a book called Ryan riley's: Growing Elite Marijuana and the rest is gathered from all over the internet and watching other people grow.

@Shockolateman08, These were just freebies and I used them to fill my tent. It's funny how sad they have been almost all their life so no wonder the other produced some balls 😅

What's the Epsom salt for? pH? I read that somewhere. How did you come up with that concoction?...I don't have sick plants but for future reference
Shagrath
Shagrath
@Shockolateman08, Epsom salt is MgSO4, so it is 22% Magnesium, 26% Sulfur and 52% oxygen. I use it for magnesium and sulfur obviously. Epsom salt is slightly alkaline and it can also be used as pH buffer in the water/soil.

Good luck! I want to try an organic hydro grow eventually.

@Wicked_Stix, Yeah thats kinda what I'm aiming for. I'm not using 100% organic but still lots of organic stuff so basically my plants have some base nutes and rest of it comes from bacteria and fungi . I want to learn how this works so thats why I'm not so certain about this but still I have my hopes up! Edit: I have some clones in the same system and some of them have small roots and growing slowly, so my water is okay atleast!
