day 1 and im now into flower. I lst'd her agian because 4 of the tops were getting to tall to the rest of the plant. i will make a vid explaining why i do this in a day or 2
day 8 she's coming along beautifully the buds are doing well I never did make the video but I'll do so probably tomorrow trying to explain some what the process of LST
Day 15 I added a second trellis netting for scrogging purposes but mildly mostly it was for support as the buds start to thicken up. It looks like things are coming along very well no deficiencies no pests and everything looks relatively healthy. I'm still toying around with the idea of having a continuous drip of water into the pot so that never dries out I'll just have to tweak it when I decide to go that way cuz that are not over-watering and causing root rot
welcome to Day 22 not a whole lot to tell I increase the light schedule to 20 hours of light for the remainder of flower so far everything is healthy no signs of any deficiency whatsoever
Day 29 and she is doing well im expecting her to start to fatten up in the next week. im thinking 2 more weeks at least till flush. also my defoliation is very light at this point
Day 36 I guess the video I'm uploading kind of says it all I think I need to make a comment anyway everything is going great the yellowing in the leaves primarily due to getting close to the end of flower I doubt it has anything to do with pretty much anything else he is going great can't wait for Harvest Time
Day 43 Well everything's coming along nicely the buds are ripening up and gaining weight like I expected although I don't think this Autoflower tends to get very large buds they are still nice and compact. I'm not entirely sure why this grow seems to have a long flower period
What more can I say it's Day 50 the plant is coming along beautifully I was worried at first as it looked like it might have been having some growth issues but my fears were dispelled. She's starting to change colours but still has tons of white hair so I asked the maid at least another three weeks till harvest I could be mistaken I will keep testing the plant to see how the trichomes are developing
hey hey Day 51 and i took a small clipping to put under the microscope and she is getting nice and cloudy with some amber, nex time im getting and black base so both you and i can see better
Day 52 and I'm starting to see more Amber trichomes. I'm doing the best I can to get his clothes a picture of the actual bud as I can with my phone seeing as I don't have a laptop to bring my microscope into the grow room
Day 53 so i took a clipping from one of the buds at the top and it has almost no amber tricombs go fig lol maybe i have a bit more after all. maybe i will hit that 70 day mark
hello again its Day 56 and it's the last day of this week's cycle still on the wall about whether I should flush starting Saturday. Just about all trichomes are cloudy with my estimate being about 10% Amber. I could probably push it another week I'm just not sure I want 30 to 50% Amber trichomes. I hope you enjoy the photos I uploaded I decided to get some more up close and personal photos using my phone they're not quite as good as I microscope but the app I use does a pretty good job. Stay tuned for next week's update where we'll finally learn whether I flush or don't LOL
Day 57 and I have decided to go another two weeks roughly to advance maturity and Bud size I've been talking with other Growers and they seem to be in consensus that even though I'm close to the actual Harvest Time listed on the website for this plant it is not mature enough quite yet and I can get quite a bit more out of it. That being said here we go. Quite a bit has changed today I introduced a new way of watering my plants more frequently whatever happened to worry about spillage as a result my plant is sitting slightly higher off the ground as I built a platform for it so the water drips from the pot into the catcher and I can remove the catcher without touching the pot. I also have changed the way my lighting is set up. I'm sure that some of my other grow pictures show the lighting the way it was the new way should be much more efficient at covering the area and kind of just really cleaning everything up. My hope is that some have you may find these things useful possibly for your own tent grows. As always if you have any questions feel free to drop them below happy growing
Day 59 as you will see in the pic there are almost no amber trichomes its a good thing i am continuing to grow this girl. you may have noticed a lack of heavy trichomes ( i know i did ) i think its just the strain as this is the second plant to be like this my LSD, Ayahuasca purple and church had far more trichomes on the leafs but im not complaining she smells great and i bet she will taste great and give a good high as well
Day 62 im starting to get more amber trichomes and you can really tell that she is sucking up the nutes in the leafs also going forward i will start a new way of feeding because i tested the run off today and its at 2466 ppm and thats to much on the high side for me. so now im going to put 2 L of straight tap water and then 2 L of nute mix every day and test to see how things are going. If i dont notice a good drop i will do 3 L of water and keep going up from there. at this point there is not real risk to the plant and it will help me on the next grow that i will be starting right after this
Day 63 so i noticed a drop in the ppm its now 2276 a drop of almost 200 ppm in 1 day so not to bad. i would like it a bit faster so im going to up it to 3 L water and 2 L nutes thats all for now
Day 64 Okay so we're entering the last couple weeks things are looking good I've managed to bring the ppm's down I added three of just straight tap water waited 10 minutes and then added my 2 L of nutrients. Doing this for the last couple days has managed to bring my ppm's down a very large amount now it sits at 1973 PPM I am well on my way
Day 66 not much to say just checking the trichomes and she is coming along well this my be the last week for her then on to flushing. PPM now 1836 and the solution is 1668 PPM so i'm doing good now
Day 67 i'm happy to say that my ppm run off is now the same as the solution i'm putting in and that's a big win so now in going back to 2L of water then 2L of nute's
Day 68 she is holding steady at 1550 ppm i now know the watering that works best more knowledge for the arsenal lol
Day 69 not much to say. She is putting on weight fast now that i got the ppm's under control but at this point it may be a week 17 harvest as trichome development is still on the slow side ppm 1763
Day 70 by my estimation she had suffered a minor nute lock out that slowed growth a little bit. T he reason i think this is because now that i have the ppm's in check and at a steady 1550-1620 ppm she is ( for lack of a better word ) exploding with growth in bud size. some new growth has doubled in size in just 24 hrs and that's huge, because of this i'm going to keep her in flower for week 16 and how knows maybe 17 before flush..... side note i had a freak problem with my one Aglex light and the veg side of the light along with some bloom light diodes stopped working. with some help i found out it was 2 LED diodes were drawing on the power and in effect stopped half the light from working we bypassed the bad LED's and we are back in business 😀
welcome to week 16 it is day 71 and she is looking good and getting euge lol quick reminder that my watering schedule says 2L or .5 gallons but that is because that is what I put in for my nutrient mix I do not include the 3L of water or .75 gallons. That being said the ppm's in the run off are holding steady at 1558 ppm's my nute mix that I added was 1642 ppm's for those who may be relatively new to growing this discrepancy in numbers is normal as the water that I add drips out the bottom a little bit before I add the nute's there for diluting the nute mix ever-so-slightly
Day 72 looking healthy still and nute ppm is 1594 and run off is 1501 ppm also she is still gaining mass so i will keep going
Day 73 fatter by the day it would seem lol nute ppm 1700 with run off at 1500 pmm never had such growth at this late in the game
Day 74 she may be starting to slow down now in growth. nute ppm 1669 run off is 1643 ppm time to get a closer look again. YES i found a new way to use my jewelers scope nute ppm 1486 run off is 1687 ppm
Day 77 and this ia the last day of nutes starting tomorrow its water only for at least 2 days then 1-2 days of darkness or maybe i will do a dark flush with ice water and see what happens. sooooo ppm of the nutes is at 1553 and run off is 1412 ppm
Day 76 amber trichomes are starting to appear and orange hairs are becoming more abundant then the white ones. so i have made up my mind that this is the last week of flower flush starts sat morn for 2 days then 2 days darkness
Day 77 i turned off the lights at 10 pm Friday and started my ice water flush and 48 hrs of darkness. i have not done ice water flush before, the theory is that the harsh cold forces the plant to build more trichomes to better prepare for pollination its an easy thing to do and takes no extra time so why not try it the water ppm is 435 and the first round run off was 1139 ppm second round of flush 789 ppm. the reason for 2 rounds of flush is in the first flush round the nute's latch onto the water and the second washes them away. i wait 15-20 min between flushes. that's it for today's update keep your stick on the ice
Day 78 not much to say really water ppm is at 435 and runoff of round one for the day is 621 i will update with round 2 in an hr. UPDATE: ok so round 2 leaves it at 521 ppm
Day 79 ok ppl this is the last day before harvest no water just ice ( i know it melts but its not much water lol ) oddly after over 48 hrs in the dark i have seen no change in the color of the plant it does not matter but i was hoping lol i took some pics for your viewing pleasure
Day 80 Harvesting was a bit of a trick with this one because I used to Trellis Nets but it went very smoothly no accidents and in the end I ended up with a staggeringly large amount of wet weight. My wet weights have a minimal amount of stock so that they more accurately represent the actual weight of the flower itself. In three days roughly I will be putting in the dry weight and then putting all the flowers into curing.
welcome to Day 83 this will be my last update i have now done my final trim and got my dry weight 362.30 gram's !! off one plant. that's 12.77 ounce's i don't sell but my god if i didn't care about laws lol, For a plant thats no cured i will sat it tastes smooth AF and has a nice head high that i didn't really expect from her being that its not cured and didn't really look like she had tones of trichomes. This baby is going to be nice in a month.
