Monstercropped

The structure of the plants was quite nice, they weren't topped, but because they were monster cropped they developed several main colas. With a bit of LST I encouraged each plant to develop about 8 tops. The scrog was useful in the early stages of flowering, but became pretty useless when the plants stretched over a foot above the trellis. I could have used a second trellis net, but didn't bother. The extent of stretching resulted in very minimal stacking of buds between nodes. The flowers didn't bulk up as much as I would have liked. Their mom grew very stout and dense, these didn't get as wide or as dense. They are however very frosty and smell much sweeter than their mom. These have a strong berry aroma that I didn't notice as predominantly in the first run of this strain. A few branches had very purple flowers, whereas the rest of the harvest was more predominant dark green, with orange hairs and some light purple in the calyxes. I'm curious why only some branches demonstrated this behaviour. Though the majority of flowers are smaller and somewhat airy, the end weight was 136 grams. I likely could have yielded higher if I let them go longer before harvesting, but I was eager to move my next run into the tent.
