It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for auto seeds to mature so you have some time. I would give them a week or 2 to grow more pistils before pollinating. Don't stress about the seeds maturing because you can run seed making plants a few weeks past when you would normally harvest. I have pollinated autos 4 weeks into flower and got good seeds. I'm sorry to say this but on a budget I think you may have to cut some holes... Still shouldn't let the smell out as long as you don't cut too many and the exhaust fan is always running....A better tent could also take care of your needs depending on budget. I hope this helps....I would say smaller fan but I think even that would fail with a 4 inch vent... happy growing :v::facepunch:
