First week control over stretch managed. First signs of flowers 2 day after switch to 12/12 .
These are replanted in 30 liter growbags during veg

The green gelato is no novice plant, OG and hulkberry certainly kick off and full of energie, had some intens lst and defoliation at the end of veg gave e good boost to enter bloom.
Topped the main stem ones of each.

Changed the bulb from 400 to 600w, hight of lamp is with heatspreader on the adjust a wing avenger. No stress sign so far. Temps between 24 and 27 during the day, 19 at night, celcius that is.
Up 2 week 4!!!
What a week! As i had planned a trip to Spain, I needed some help from the outside. Only very very few people know about, so choices are limited.
Finally all went pretty well, Ill thank him later on. 😅
As my dirt combination is coco with a backyard compost and mix of castings and minerals, only thing was to get them enough water to last the 2 times 3 days periode.
Not to mention, my first week of experience with the 600w bulb, in control of heat and humidity.
Well, theyre pretty thursty ladies. But reading their leaves, they didnt suffer. Some minor spots, butt they occurd allready before the trip, due to the 600w. But i think ive got it stable and on spot, just before i went.
Kush getting allmost halfway, looking nice with longest colas until now, nice smell 2.
Hulkberry also took a big jump, and shes smelling like fresh strawberry candy, really really nice.
The gelato is my care baby, and shes coming up as well. Only very thin at the moment.

All ladies doing well. Most of the growth into height will be over by now.
The kush is really thickning up, hulkberry in into the following.
Green gelato is picking up tempo and started with some good densing of the buds and getting some posture. Ill hope she will keep the buds up at the end, because of the very thin branches that hold them.

Entering the last weeks and days, it truely was allready a grow with lots of extra experience. Because of the 3 different strains, normaly i do just 1 strain, brought some extra challenges in reading their needs and expectations. Aĺso growing during wintertime is new to me.
Over 2 the ladies,
OG is getting there and will get max a week 2 mature, seeing just beginning of cloudy trichomes.
The hulkberry has stalled like 4 to 5 days, now starting to reproduce white hairs. She still has 2 to 3 weeks to go by the book, so ill try 2 satisfy her as much as possible. Hope she thickens a bit more.
And as last, as always, green gelato. Let me put it this way, if I did messed it up myself, I cant put the blame on the breeders, so, she's nice, but i think she will be a bit fluffy.
Thats it for this week, hope to post some pics of harvesting the OG.
I only will post harvests when their dry, so theirs allready some bag appeal 2 it!

From now on, its trichome time!
Both OG Kush and hulkberry are getting milky 40 %, no amber yet.
Green gelato is slightly moving towards getting milky by only a fraction of the trichomes that start to look a bit milky.
Some might notice that the OG is a bit thinned up. Thats because of reculations with the corona pandemic. No medicin to get my hands on whitout risking a fine, so I trimmed the thinnest branches of the OG to start drying. As she is getting milky, the high will probably be less intens, as the taste will 2.

Ive dried the plant in total after a light clean up of the biggest leaves. She dried over 8days periode, then removed the buds from the stems.
Then an otter 2 days óf during in a drybag.
Now shes about 2 days in to curing with a 62% boveda humidity pack.
Nice tast and effect in only 14 days time.

Very nice weed. Tast is getting really good now after a good month of curing.

The buds look and feel dry, still you need a few good spins on the crucher to get it all to the next level(4piece grinder). Smooth smoking, nice stoned but still operative. Maybe thats the tolerance?😅😅🤪🤪

This is my favorite of the 3 strains for now. 8 days óf drying on stem, then 2 days in drybag.
2 days into curing with boveda 62% humidity pack.
Opening the jar is like pure bitter choclate hitting you in the face.
Real soft smoke allready. Love it!!!!

After curing 4 weeks with the boveda 62%, the smell changed allot. As the tast, real intens flavor, still very different from the other 2 strains.
With its nice shades of purple it is really a treath for the eye, the tastbuds as for the mind. This weed gets me going. Ill have these impulses of concentration on weeding the lawn and vegetable garden. Feeling great and being productive is the nice outcome of this weed. Blessed!!!

8 day drying, now 2 days to go in drybag.
After a good taste, shes really energetic!!! Got me out of my "getting depressed" state of mind and kicked my butt straight into the garden, ive moved pavements, cut some borders with scissors. Mawing the lawn, cleaned up the garden shed, etc, etc,
Deffenitly not a nighttimer!!

So , after curing 4 weeks, still i dont get that smell out of it. Im not that trained yet either.
Leaving that in the middle, it is a awesome weed. This one also gets me up, and get things done.
Really nice looking weed. Very different from the other 2 strains. This one got big calixes.
Really looking forward to have the bigger version of this one finishing end of september.

Totally correct for the taste and effect, its a personal thing.
Its like a whisky tasting, if you just had some flavorbomb thats hits you like a rocket, then something a bit smoother is like less good, but the next day it does blow your horn anyways.
I also mix some tabacco into my joints so that changes the hole experience 2 I think.
As mentioned, it was a less good grow of that 1 plant. Ive started a new one, whos gonna get time and patience to grow at full potentiel.

@Organic_LarF, well that is strange, sometimes it is just a regional preference thing. I know alot of the current gelato crosses including green gelato are high thc bosses. Generally here in the uk its always same price (unless you're getting mugged off) or it's been "import from cali"

I had some issues at the start so on yield I really cant say. Tastewise, at this moment(2 weeks curing boveda 62%), it starts to come with taste and nose. Both other strains are so pungent and full of taste allready, I might she is the least in tast.
But she hadnt the best conditions all the time, so I think youve got it right straight away.
I do have to mention that Ive bought some gelato is spain and it was also the least expressive weed ive had there.
